This rating is specifically for Michelle. Michelle was the best phlebotomist I've ever had the pleasure to see. I walked in with my four children this morning for routine lab work. This was their first time getting blood drawn. Michelle was kind and incredibly patient with all of them (even when the youngest struggled). It's such a shame that she has to do everything herself. LabCorp should hire front desk staff so the techs can focus on patients instead of splitting their time with paperwork which causes unnecessarily long wait times. read more

I will not go to this location again. I waited for 46 minutes after I checked in and the other 5 people that were there wen I checked in were still there. This has been a terrible experience thus far. Had a drug screen for new hire employment. Scheduling an appointment time was not available for this kind of appointment. Hours say 8 - 3pm. I arrive at 815am and check in. About 820am I am advised they only do the tests between 9-11am and 1-3pm. In the interim I run to a nearby store returning at 855am. After about 10-15 minutes I ask when I should be expected to be seen. They said I needed to check in again. SMH I check in and then wait until about 930am feeling my bladder was ready to empty. She suggested I come back tomorrow as they are really busy. Why would I come back and repeat the pain and misery? **** Originally rated a one star. I ended up leaving and scheduling an appointment later the same day. I was seen promptly(within 10 minutes of checking in). The staff was nice. In the end she was nice and courteous. I do feel the place is understaffed but so are many places due to covid. read more

I tried to call in a lab order for a patient and listened to a Long recorded verbal explanation of their COVID issues and finally was directed by the recording to lab requests-and I pressed '3' to speak to a person.I then waited patiently (the first 2 times) on hold interminably till IT hung up on me-a total of 3 times!!! That's 30 min total of my life I can never get back. I called their 1800800...service number and spoke with a human who was very nice - hope it helped to bring it to corporate attention but...I feel that improvement is unlikely.I will choose Quest in Boerne for my patients. Hope you can choose your lab so service will matter. read more

This is one of the best experiences I have had for routine lab work. In fact I've been back to this location from Fredericksburg over an hour away due to the care of Michelle there. Having had terrible experiences with labwork, Michelle's caring attitude makes the process less stressful. I don't get anxious during the wait knowing I will be handled with care. I was very sick, and came here to have a bunch of blood tests. Access to the building and parking we're great, and I'm handicapped so that is crucial for me. Although I had an appointment, the place was empty except one other person. The ladies behind the front desk were extremely helpful, especially since they didn't have the proper request from my doctor. I got him to fax it over, and they took care of everything. I didn't have to wait, and the lady who took my blood was really good. I have deep veins, sort of, but she had no trouble and I didn't have a bruise. I just love the patient portal, and getting my lab results that way. It's great, because each result has a link you can click to learn more. Gone are the days of not being able to understand the tests and the results! read more

This is the LabCorp in Boerne. It's convenient for me because I can be here at 7am when they open and have plenty of time to get to work by 8am. When I first starting going here, the staff was not so friendly. Acted like they didn't want to be here. The 'staff' for a while was one woman. I felt sorry for her - she signed you in and then performed the tasks, be it blood draw, etc. Since then they've increased the staff to two. And they are in the lab before 7am. They used to get there right at 7. Works much better now and I'm happy. read more

Labcorp needs to get it together at this location. Either hire more staff or give the ONE woman who is working a significant raise. Expect a slow wait here for that reason, but you can't beat the convenient location. Also, bring a mask. As of 03/14 it's still a requirement at this location (for your own safety). read more

I have to use the facilities for blood draw on a regular basis. Usually use the Labcorp near the VA Hospital in San Antonio. At that facility it is in and out even during the busiest of times. Decided to save on the Drive and came to this location here in Boorne.They have completed 2 in 40 minutes. I should have kept driving. Update. Sitting here for over 1 hour and 15 minutes. Went up to the window to find that there is only the one young lady working here. This is not her fault. This is a complete failure on the part of the Management. Their inability to properly staff the facility for the number of people here is unacceptable at any reason. . read more

After a terrible experience at the huebner labcorp location yesterday I was nervous to return to labcorp. But I was so happy with my experience this morning at this location ! The technician was kind and very skilled at drawing my baby's labs. If I have to have blood work done on my kids I will 100% return to this location. read more

I went in for drug screening for my employer and this employee at Lab Corp did not seal the bag in front of me or give me paperwork after the labs were completed. i got another drug screening done and watched them and they followed the standard procedures and told me that should always be done right in front of me. The nurse in front was not friendly at all. She was not rude but wasn't polite either. I forgot my printed blood order request, I didn't want to go home but she acted like I don't care i need the order. I have been fasting for this blood work and I just want to get it over with and be able to eat breakfast. I asked her if I can have my Dr. email it to me, she finally said ok. I know it was partially my fault for forgetting my order but a smile could make a whole of difference. Got my bloodwork done but overall experience could be better. read more

I was really dreading going to this facility for a blood draw based on a number of reviews. My experience was outstanding: self-check-in was easy, wait was minimal, the lady checking me in was friendly and highly competent when it came to drawing my blood. I was in and out in no time. That said, it was only two days ago, so I don't know whether the test results are handed off seamlessly to my doctor or not. If all is good, I'll leave this review as is -- if not, I'll amend. read more
