Find another lab... the service and attitude at this lab is terrible. They are rude and unprofessional. Look at all the 1-star terrible reviews and yet nothing has been done to address/improve it. Also, they are a huge credit fraud risk! They will insist that they make a copy of your credit card, and harass you if you don't let them make copies and keep it in their files. The #1 place that sensitive data is stolen from is healthcare facilities, so don't trust these incompetent bozos with keeping your credit card information secure. They already have a copy of your insurance and driver's license, which is sufficient for billing your insurance. If there is any remaining balance after the insurance settles, then they can bill you for the balance, just like all other healthcare providers do. This lab is not safe and should be avoided. read more

They should offer a free STD blood panel included with whatever you're getting just for just touching the door handle on your way in. The waiting room was clean, it's an older building so that being said you can tell they keep up with sweeping and moping and cleaning. There are 4 or 5 people here ready and able to draw blood, but they call one person at a time and only use room # 2. You can't talk to anyone because they have their window covered up and says due to increased wait times no one will be at the front desk. This gives them time to do who knows what. Never will come here again. Don't use this place if you can avoid it. read more

Terrible experience. Pediatrician ordered labs from this place. We showed up around noon and had to make an appointment through the kiosk. There was nobody to answer any questions at all, and several elderly people in the lobby were confused about how to receive service. We had to wait 2.5 hours for an appointment, which was difficult because fasting was required for the labs. My daughter has significant anxiety about blood draws, which isn't uncommon. When we returned she was cooperative but very obviously distressed. The employee began setting up to draw blood, but then went to another cubicle to speak with a coworker and left us waiting. After several minutes, I asked her to please finish doing the labs. She was unable to get the full amount of blood. Let me say again: my child was distressed but cooperative. This was a lack of skill on the worker's part. The employee was unable to complete the draw and had to start again, which of course was a problem. She offered to let my daughter lie down for the second attempt. I'm not sure why that option wasn't offered the first time. Overall, this experience was one of the worst. Very unprofessional employees in both demeanor and skill level. Avoid this place if you can. read more

Then they completely somehow removed my husband from the cue who was right after me and took another walk in after him! No apologies! Just told him to sign in again! He was so pissed we left! This location seems to actually look for any reason they can to avoid doing the lab work if possible. They obviously dislike their work environment and have no interest in customer service. They have tried to reject lab requests because there was no Icd-10 code placed for routine lab request for one of my child's routine physicals. Another time they rejected electronic lab requests that an out of state specialist had requested and stated we need a printed copy. When I asked if I could send them the electronic copy via email (was actually on their format from quest) they wouldn't be flexible. So for 7 cents in paper they don't care if they lose 250-500 dollars plus in insurance charges plus the deductible? read more

Ive been on several occasions and every time I have had someone different draw my blood but what they all have in common is they are extremely rude and unfriendly. Everyone I've encountered has a chip on their should and each of them know everything about everything except its all contradictory to the others. I accompanied my young adult daughter to Quest this morning. She needed to have blood drawn. She went in alone and showed her Blue Cross insurance card and asked if they accepted BC. Just as they were about to draw blood a woman came in and said there may be a $200 copay. This was after they had said they accepted her insurance. She hesitantly went ahead. They had to take 6 or 7 tubes of blood and my daughter became light headed afterwards and passed out. They called me as I was waiting outside. The staff seemed uninterested and poorly lacking in concern. i heard a staff person talking rudely to an elderly man who did not understand her instructions. Later I mentioned it to my daughter and she said she had heard her speaking in an impatient and condescending tone to an elderly woman. The staff attending my daughter suggested we carry juice with us to future lab appointments as fainting was apparently a possibility. It is sad to see staff who take so little pride and care in their work. We will not be returning. read more

Don't go there Horrible customer service Bandera rd. location sucks, they don't tell you about the little trick the Kiosk plays on you if you are a walk in and need to be seen. you are forced to use a Kiosk which any person without an appointment would choose to make a walk in appointment on the Kiosk, what they don't tell you is you need to choose to be added on the standby wait list which is under more options when you get to the point on the kiosk that says appointment time, the horrible people in the back know that you didn't choose this and they are in the back laughing knowing you are waiting in the lobby like an idiot and could care less. I know they know this because they addressed me by name when I asked why it was taking so long and they said you didn't fill it out right on the kiosk. They must seriously be miserable people to have such poor work ethic. if you are a walk in it should automatically put you on the standby list especially if you checked the box that you are waiting in the lobby. I will never do business again with quest diagnostics, I truly look forward to the day they go out of business!! read more

I had a great experience at this location. I normally go to the QD at 1604/Bandera Rd but went to this location due to other appointments. Lupe C took wonderful care of me. I was a walk-in and had to wait under 10 minutes. Lupe was super friendly and drew my blood with ease. Basically an easy breezy time getting the bloodwork and Lupe made it pleasant. read more

On site service was excellent. Their follow up sucks. Did not report results to physicians office. Sign up process at myquestdiagnostics was cumbersome and unreliable. I found it did not even register keystrokes correctly. Also, once I finally waded through all the nonsense, they could not provide results for another 24 hours. UPDATE: Corporate called me after I reported this location. They said there isn't a "supervisor " at this location and the women lied about one of them being the manager. In addition, there is absolutely ZERO surveillance equipment here so GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!! They have no record of who comes in and out that door but also there is no one watching the people that work here, which obviously run the show. . . . Absolutely HORRIBLE!! I went in this morning at 7:15am and was a walk-in. Was called back to get some routine blood work done and was informed that my 4 year old had to wait BY HIMSELF in a separate waiting room while I got blood drawn. I refused and the Quest representative became extremely condescending explaining that they had "need-les" said suuuuuuper slowly and my son couldn't be in the same room as me. I protested because HELLO, a FOUR YEAR OLD should NEVER be left unattended in ANY public waiting room, and the conversation because extremely tense. I refused to let my child out of my sight and pointed out to her how disgusting her attitude was. Then she announced that she wouldn't take my blood and she "no longer felt comfortable" serving me. I mean, seriously. I asked for the manager and she told me her manager was listening to "everything" to which I replied, GOOD!! I had to go back out into the waiting room and was called in again by the manager this time who defended the previous employees actions by saying, "Well some kids get out of control". No. Just no. My child was calm and under control the ENTIRE time and this was more about their lack of COMMON SENSE and needing to have control. This employee should be fired. She has no business working with the general public and her attitude was HORRIBLE. No one should EVER think it's acceptable to have a child sit UNSUPERVISED in a waiting room without their parent or guardian. Ever. I called corporate and I'm waiting for their take on this location's total lack of common sense and lack of customer service. Go to Labcorp across town. I had my blood draw 6/25/2018 at 0730 hr. The nurse was nasty, nasty. Clearly was not interested in working with a 75 year old male. She required me to give her my credit card before she would draw blood and told me it was a Medicare requirement effective first of this year. Finally she took my blood and during the draw she asked, where is your order? I sais, I have them to you. She snapped, I'm not talking to you. Very bad experience! DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY TESTING!!! I can't stress this enough, all the staff is rude, and uncaring. We had to come for a blood test for my 1 year old son, after a week waiting for results, we find out they did the wrong test and they would have to test again. Funny enough apparently this is a common issue for this location, as we overheard from another customer that they messed up their test as well. Terrible customer service., you would be much better finding literally ANYWHERE else to get your testing done. read more

I have always had gr8 service for tests, injections etc...The folks have always been very professional and courteous and they don't slack off. They work to get the folks seen and on their way. The only complaint I have is how hard it is to schedule an appt. with ANY Quest locations. I will do a walk in and they are very quick handling their walk ins as well. I really am glad that the location is so close and I don't have to go into San Antonio. This place is a winner !!! read more

I have been using the Boerne Quest office for years (first over on the other side of IH-10, and now at this new location). I usually make an appointment for my sake as well as theirs, and rarely wait more than a few minutes. I have NEVER had a bad visit; the staff have been unfailingly friendly and efficient. P.S. In contrast to an earlier comment, I am an 8o+-year-old man, and they certainly act as if they enjoy working with me. I will be using them again soon, and will update this review. read more
