Dude at the window was helpful, but seriously if I already have to pay to park for EVERY 20 minutes that passes - you'd think they'd want to have this go as fast and smooth as possible for the customer. Had to go in for blood work and this location was the closest to where I live. Reading the other reviews, I made an appointment so I wouldn't have a long wait. First, street parking is pretty skimp. So, if you can't find any you will have to park in the garage (which isn't expensive). After driving around for about 5 minutes, I found a spot on the street...YAY!! Went in and only one person waiting. The receptionist greeted me with a smile and put me in the system. I signed in and waited no more than a couple of minutes before I was called back. I didn't get the phlebotomist name but she was super nice. She was able to get a vein on the first try (YES!!!!), I have small veins which I had to let her know. ..Anyway, good experience. read more

Really bad experience. Had appointment scheduled for 8:45 for simple blood work and had was taken in 50 minutes later. Nobody bothered to give me update on how long I had to wait. And yes the office is very ghetto, not typical for Burbank. Will not go there again. If you do plan on close to 1hr wait time. read more

My Doctor uses this place for all his patient's labwork. Yet another reason why I may be switching Doctors really soon. Never mind the sparce furnishings, and the "Drug Court" feel of the place, the phlebotomist couldn't hit a vein the size of a sewer main. She hunted and poked and fished on my left arm, then my right arm. I haven't seen this much fishing since Shark Week. I'm a frequent blood donor and I know my veins are deep especially when I've been fasting, but this person just didn't have take the time or posses the skill to hit the vein on the first shot, unlike the wonderful people at the Blood Center who do. Anyway, either my Doctor will send me to a better place for bloodwork or I'm getting a new doctor, because I'm not going back to this place. If you have a choice, don't go here. read more

Worst customer service. Rude as hell front desk. Unorganized is an understatement. Had a 2pm appointment. Got here at 1:50. It's 2:53 and I'm still sitting here AND THEY JUST TOLD ME 4 PEOPLE ARE STILL AHEAD OF ME AND EACH TAKES 5-10 MINUTES EACH. ALREADY LATE TO MY CLASS NOW BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF ORGANIZATION OR CONSIDERATION FOR PATIENTS TIME. Terrible place to get your lab work done. I made an appointment the day before for 1:30 pm so I didn't have to wait since I had to be at a nursingwork meeting at 2pm. When I asked them how long I would have to wait they said I would go in within 15 minutes. They kept me there until 1:50 and after I was about to leave the front girl told me they would take me in if I was willing to wait another 5 minutes but that the drug tox test takes time with the signatures and what not. I walked out, thanking them for being so understaffed and so disrespectful for my time. I reached out to my future employer to use another company for this test since I am too busy for this back & forth yo-yo deal lol stay away if you are a busy professional like me. And worse- I hear them on the phone talking to their co-worker who apparently didn't show up to work and was just now driving in from Englewood so that's why the wait is so insane! So 30 people are sitting in the office with no one to draw blood because this place has no management or accountability, just employees who show up when they feel like it! No point in making an appointment online. I made an appointment for 9:30 am, and I'm still here past 10. The television doesn't work, no validation for parking, they don't explain what you're being charged for, and the building is run down. I didn't think many places could be worse than Quest, but I just found one. On the bright side, the parking is relatively cheap... only 85 cents for every twenty minutes. Good location, but the phlebotomist who took my blood, Miguel I think his name was, is a complete prick. Rude and aggressive, screwed up inserting the needle into my arm rushing things, then acted like it was my fault. I had a burning sensation all around my hand for a few moments afterward, like someone had lit it on fire, which is a first. He also wrote I "refused" to fast on my computer chart when I told him I wasn't told I needed to. I guess not being told and refusing are the same thing in your mind, eh, you dimwitted incompetent asshole? Wouldn't surprise me if the needles he uses aren't even properly sterilized. Just clearly a man who hates his job and his life and everything around him. Why people like this are allowed in the medical profession, or any profession requiring human interaction, is beyond me. Do something else, before you cause someone real damage. read more

if i can give no stars i definitely will the guy there with the ponytail i think his names miguel was so rude definitely lacks people skills and should not have this job . i could not believe his attitude he had towards children (6,3) my son was reading the lab paper on the table bed and he rudely snatched the paper away .my son caught onto his reaction so fast he even gave me a look like he wanted to cry . then the baby was crying and he gave such a horrible look at him to the point i was uncomfortable. most importantly no soap in bathroom broken toilet handle no paper towels looked like a gas station restroom * blood drawing needle caps all over the floor(wouldn't be surprised if they hand needles on the floor ) alcohol wipes on the floor trash bins full bandaids on the floor over all major health violations going to call corporate and health inspection asap this place should not be in business for various reasons miguel should be fired for horrible people skills . read more

Since we all love the pleasant task of urine sample collection, LabCorp is the type of place I only have to frequent once a year when doing my annual physical checkup and thank God for that! This location leaves a lot to be desired. I thought I was going to one of the newer buildings and parked in their fancy (and expensive) garage to find out that I had to walk a couple of blocks to get to this building. It's a pretty dated building that needs a serious overhaul. I wasn't sure I was going to survive the elevator ride with the noises it was making and there's no signage to help you find LabCorp once you are on the correct floor. I understand what everyone is saying about how hard it is to open the door. The people in the waiting room were yelling out instructions on how to push the door open. It was fairly amusing. I got to the counter and quietly explained I was there to give a urine sample. I asked if the wait was long and explained where I parked my car. The lady behind the desk said I was the only one coming for this so there shouldn't be a wait and she'd confirm. Then yells back to the guy and asks how long for urine samples and sure enough, I was handed a cup that looked like a Starbucks cup and told to go back out into the hallway, find the bathroom and do my deed in there. I was grateful the cup looked like a Starbucks cup and not the clear cups I've usually had the pleasure of filling since I had to walk through the waiting room with it. The bathroom stunk like... well, I'm sure you can imagine. I did my business and then proudly walked back through the full waiting room with my prize in hand to the desk announcing I had completed my task. I guess LabCorp likes to teach people a lesson in humility. I'm then shown the room where they'll do blood work and told to leave my sample in by the sink in one of the other rooms. The guy comes in and draws my blood. He's pretty funny. I was out of there in probably 15 minutes. Not too shabby. I opt for the stairs on the way down and open the door to the stairwell and wondered if people couldn't find the bathroom and filled their cups in the stairwell cause it stunk really badly in there. I held my breath, ran down the flights of steps, and then off to my car! Maybe if I wasn't desperate to go to the bathroom and hungry (from that lovely 12 hour fast I had to be on for the blood work) I would have had a better experience, but I'd be happier going to a facility that at least has a bathroom in the office next time. read more

The only reason I go to Labcorp is my insurance otherwise I will never prefer to go there. Even though you have an appointment still you have to wait for your turn. Customer Care is worst. If you have good luck then only you will get proper answer. read more

I came to labcorp to get a urinalysis done not too long ago. I was not greeted by a very rude young lady named monica when I entered into the office, she had a mean look on her face and seemed irritated by my presence even though I was smiling and acting polite. I understand that she has to handle strangers urine everyday but that's not my fault, if that's not a suitable job for her then she should find different employment. Quite frankly I felt as if she was acting like some sort of parole officer checking my urine, it was a very unnerving experience. If you have an option to go to another facility I would highly suggest you do so. read more

This place is terrible. I got employed at IKEA and had to do an employee drug test. Their hours were 12:30-3:30 for employee drug tests, I arrived at 12:40 it's 1:45 and I'm STILL WAITING. The receptionist was at lunch when I came and didn't come back till 1:00! What type of place has no receptionist during their lunch hour?! You get someone to replace them and take their lunch at a different time! Also they say each person takes 5-10 minutes but I've only seen 4 people go in and it's been an hour so it obviously takes longer than that! read more

This place feels like the waiting room for the dead in Beetlejuice --grimy and creepy. First of all, they do not validate parking, and parking in the building is very expensive, and since they apparently do not take morning appointments, you may find yourself shelling out ten times more for parking than you will end up paying for your lab test. The door to the office sticks. After banging on the door for five minutes, a person finally came to open it (by coming out another door and shoving it numerous times) gave me attitude -- I see from Yelp that other people had the same experience. That being said, if I had to work in such an environment, I'd be crabby, too. The waiting room was grungy, with stains on the carpet and furniture, and giant clear plastic bins of syringes and other medical materials were in the hallways. All together, there was not much about the place that made it seem legitimate, so I'm not really confident in their results. The primary focus of this facility seems to be to test employees for illicit drugs, so it has that atmosphere--like if you're there, you've done something wrong. The actual small area where blood was drawn seemed organized, and the person who took my blood was pleasant and speedy, but I later developed a huge bruise at the draw site. I have had blood taken hundreds of times, including having a home health IV for three months, and never once did I develop a bruise like this. Lastly, they say on the LabCorp website to make an appointment for faster service, but they did not have any morning appointments available; when I arrived in the morning, I saw from the sign-in sheet that no one else had an appointment either -- so for some reason, they do not accept morning appointments. If one is fasting, this is risky to one's health. If you are diabetic, pregnant, breastfeeding, etc., try to not go here unless you fancy passing out on the gross stain on the floor before you can raise your blood sugar with some food. I will say that the phlebotomist (not the person who "answered" the door) had a very pleasant attitude and bedside manner despite the shade-tastic surroundings -- three stars for her. read more

If I could write a zero, I would. I had one of the worst experiences in my life at this terrible terrible terrible place. I went to get some lab work, because this location is a lot closer than my doctor's office. I arrived, and told that the facilities ONE fax machine had been broken for days, and hopefully a repairmen would be coming the next day. They would not except faxes from another suite in the building, accept an email, or take a verbal order from a Doctor. If their machine broke, they could have just bought a new one, instead of having to turn down business for days. So I had to be turned away, and find another lab for the next day to get urgent work done. Never go to this place, EVER EVER EVER. That visit is going down as the most unprofessional instance I have ever seen in a medical facility. Whoever runs that place should be simply ashamed of themselves. read more

Kept us waiting for two hours before even looking at paperwork only to then tell us they couldn't hold one of the tests. No communication. Training is poor. The lab techs were all new and had to look up how to do everything. The entire waiting room was filled with angry people waiting for hours even people with appointments. We ended up leaving after two hours with no lab work done. Had to go to a different facility on a different day. read more

I walked out of this place! Let me back up... I can see where parking can be hard at this location lucky for me I found free parking on the street. The place looks like a government office and is depressing. I was seen pretty quickly. The girl at the desk wasn't rude just felt like I was being processed like a toy in an assembly line. I made an appointment and my wait was 5 minutes even though the place was packed. When I got in the chair the same girl that was the receptionist was taking my blood. Ok only 2 employees in this place. I asked for the butterfly needle since I'm petrified of getting my blood drawn, and was told they were out of needles. Umm, huh? Isn't this a bloodlab? WTF? I asked to be shown the other needles and just felt like they didn't give a crap about me and would just stick the needle in my arm not even trying to be gentle. Really wish I read the reviews. I wasted my lunch break at this place, but don't regret walking out of there. Would not recommend. read more

Appointments are absolutely useless. The receptionist is the Phlebotomist, and she's very angry about this fact. She keeps announcing that she is the only one here to do all the paperwork AND draw blood. I've been here an hour past my appointment time and haven't even given her my ID/paperwork. Last person that asked her how many people were in front of him, the lady yelled at him. I was scared anyway but now I'm really frightened--she has the needle, and she's so angry!! Update: Still took 2 1/2 hours but the lady with the needle was very kind once you got her away from the desk. She even made me laugh. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before going to this location. I had to take a drug test for a new job and had to have it done at a LabCorp facility. It's probably one of the most unprofessional labs I have ever been to. I work in a medical office myself and know the importance of greeting patients and making them feel welcomed. Definitely not how it is in this place! If I ever need to go to a LabCorp again for anything, I will be sure to go to another location. read more

I had a very good experience here I went in at 8 am and I was out by 8:36 AM without an appointment. The staff was very nice and I got my results within 3 days. This is the first lab that I have been to where they have drawn my blood and did not leave me with a huge bruise. read more
