Then I checked the other urgent care locations and saw they were at least the same price. They do tend to prescribe medication more often here than other places, but when I've expressed concern with a specific Rx I had issues with, they were quick to find an alternative. The biggest reason I love this place is the time it takes. I'm usually out the door in less than 15 minutes (with an appointment). That includes greeting reception, getting vitals from an assistant, answering questions about why I'm there, talking to the doc, and leaving with my visit summary. I don't come here when I'm feeling well - I want to be back home, wrapped in a blanket, hopefully with some antibiotics or medication to make my plague less miserable. More than any other place I've been, this checks that box. If you're looking for a conversation about how your family is doing, make an appointment with your PCP. If you're sick and need something addressed quickly, visit One Urgent Care.

After we went home, both of us developed severe bruising and noticeable bumps. I'm almost 30, get annual physicals, and have had many blood tests before -- I have never experienced bruising this bad. When I went back two days later to discuss the issue and request a refund so we could redo the tests elsewhere, the owner's attitude was shockingly rude. He insisted everything was "normal," blamed it on dehydration, and claimed he has "seen plenty of people like us who barely understand anything and just want a refund." He also argued that because we didn't complain during the blood draw, the outcome was somehow our fault. We were simply being polite -- mild discomfort during a blood draw is normal. Severe bruising afterward is what made us return. Instead of taking any responsibility, he denied everything and repeatedly demanded that we leave "his facility." The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was unacceptable, especially from someone providing healthcare services. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

The process was painful and my wife even draw extra pipe of blood because he complain my wife is not being able to give enough blood. Me and my wife ended up with very large purple red bruises on injection point. We came back today trying to get some explanation and seeking for refund (we can give up the blood test result and go for other facilities). Danial had only one response: "this is normal, this is common". And he turned around to another employee and said "I'm sorry for you to go through this" (meaning it's inappropriate that we came back for this). Danial also said "I've seen so many kids like you, get a bruise and want money back". He even said "I'm the owner of this facility, I could just ask you to leave. Do you want to leave now? Please leave now." We consider ourselves civilised and reasoning person, and in our whole life, we've done many blood tests, not one time did we get this large of bruises, and not to mentioned both of us get the bruises at the same time.

The tech squeezed plenty of blood out of my boy's heel, so much so that blood was all over his foot and our car seat after I put him back in it. Low and behold, I get a call from his Pediatrician today saying the test was inconclusive due to "inadequate amount of blood" drawn. Are you kidding me ?! There was so much blood! What is with these people? This test is extremely important to have done at 7-10 days after the first test to test for a preventable disorder that causes retardation. So yes, I'm very upset.

The tech said they…read morecan draw via the needle I said she had recently had it drawn via the foot cut method to which there were no complaints and the tech said they like to make it as easy on the patient as they can. I asked the tech if she had done this before on an infant and she said she had so I didn't feel it was necessary to tell a tech how to do her job. In hindsight tech is an overstatement. She squeezed the foot too hard and wasn't capturing the blood fast enough, was clearly frustrated and hurried, at this point she was unable to capture most of the blood and spilled plenty all over the floor, my leg, bc i was holding my baby, and the sani pad. If she were competent with her job all the blood lost would have certainly provided enough sample to test. Next, she insisted that i stand up to hold my baby facing me, which she said was a proven method to draw the blood more efficiently. So as I'm standing there holding the baby and watching her not capture most of the blood dripping on the floor she tells me the blood has coagulated and that I might have to come back, but ASSURED me they would let me know if that were the case by the next business day. Of course she lied, PAC LAB never got back to me so when I follow up with the baby's child care provider the report they received was that the parent refused to have the needle draw and the recommendation was to return. I think witnessing the blood bath that ensued as a result of the PAC LAB techs inability to perform a simple blood draw is enough to prevent me from ever going back there much more so than their failure to follow up and mislead the Dr. So PLEASE if you have to take your child to these jokers ask more questions than I did.

I'm in some of the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life but she had me laughing on the phone and well on my way to scheduling an urgent MRI. I've been on a lot of medical calls in the last month, advocating so hard to move forward in treatment and testing. Most offices have made me feel like I'm swimming upstream. Liz went over and above to help me schedule, to provide information about the procedure, and to assure me that she'll do all she can to help. I'm shocked in the best possible way today - and I just want to say thank you. She really takes the cake! I have had nothing but INCREDIBLE experiences here. I've been in for two separate spinal MRIs and the front desk staff, the radiology techs, and the reports after have been thorough, professional, and incredible. I really love their open MRI and it was a great option for me. The radiology tech jammed with me to some classic rock and checked in frequently about positioning, how much time I had left, and made sure I was comfortable.

Medical visits are three-pronged: the actual visit and diagnosis, the admin/reception, billing…read more Acutal visit and diagnosis: really top-shelf. Five stars! Can't wait to come back! I mean truly. With a family history and an estimated 52% chance of getting breast cancer, I have been doing annual mammograms since 1995. In those years, I've had dozens of breast ultrasounds, MRIs, biopsies, mammos. The actual medical part of Rayus did feel like I was in the Four Seasons of breast care. The doctor spent a LOT of time walking me through why they were concerned about the two anomalies and even gave me her direct phone number and even was the person who called to review biopsy results. (spoiler alert: both biopsies were benign) Admin / part 1 scheduling: Mixed bag; 1 STAR. AVERAGE on-hold time was well over 20 minutes. One time I held for 25 minutes and then they hung up on me. :( Longest hold time was 38 minutes. Truly unethical, IMO. We aren't doing imaging for sport. We are doing imaging because we are searching for bad agents and/or something isn't in the right place and it is stressful and can you not pick up the phone? Good god. Was bad enough that that I DROVE (20 minutes each way) to the nearest Rayus and walked into the reception to book the appointment in person. Admin / part 2 referral bermuda triangle: 0 STARS. "the doctor didn't send the referral yet" seems to be a pat answer, followed by "call back in a week; doctors always say they sent the referral but they lie." Another pat answer. One Rayus rep went so far as to say "the referrals come in by fax; there's a pile on the floor, it takes us sometimes a week to sort through them all." (Are you F***ing kidding me? As a weird aside, I got a nearly identical answer 8 years prior when they kept "losing" or "not finding" the doctor's referral.) Again: I'm doing this because I have a family history of breast cancer. Must I also suffer through the indignity of knowing that my time-sensitive pre-auth form is relying on 100-year-old fax 'techonology' ? Billing: Wait, is Bernie Madoff your accountant? -17 STARS. I arrive for first breast MRI and receptionist informs me that my "copay" is $500 since I haven't met my deductible. Hmm. I'm not sure this is correct, but she's very concise: "If you don't pay up front, then you don't get the imaging done today." Oy. I asked who I'd contact to work this out, saying that I had already met my deductible. "Um, no, there's no one to contact. We don't give refunds." So then I return the following week and I'm given the exact same shpiel. This time I'm told that I need to pay $335 for my "copay" and, again, no money, no imaging. "You'll need to call to reschedule." Then they send me an invoice for $301, claiming on the invoice that I had paid them $0. Feeling desperate (because who has an extra thousand dollars laying around?) I call my insurance company. Who, thankfully, is appalled on my behalf. "Oh, no, no. You *never* prepay imaging. That's not part of our contract with Rayus." I'm on hold about an hour total. But the good news is that after the one hour with insurance, Rayus did refund me the $835 they 'overcharged' me (or stole from me, depending on how precious you are about word choice). Other good news is that the money was back in my account in about one week. That was one month ago. (cue Jaws music) Yesterday I got a Rayus invoice informing me that I stilllll owe them $301 and their invoice still shows that they have received $0 from me and $0 from my insurance, which is wildly incorrect. I think between the four visits and eight procedures insurance has already paid them a few thousand dollars. And, yes, I will owe 20% for the first $1,000 billed. But something's rotten in Denmark when the medical billing is that insanely incorrect. Weird p.s. to all this: I got frustrated that I could not find a billing phone number for Rayus and went down a rabbit hole or two and learned that Rayus is owned by a venture capital firm that has offices in NYC and West Palm Beach. Curiouser and curiouser.
