My partner and I each paid $250 for a blood draw performed by the owner of this lab, and the experience was extremely unprofessional. After we went home, both of us developed severe bruising and noticeable bumps. I'm almost 30, get annual physicals, and have had many blood tests before -- I have never experienced bruising this bad. When I went back two days later to discuss the issue and request a refund so we could redo the tests elsewhere, the owner's attitude was shockingly rude. He insisted everything was "normal," blamed it on dehydration, and claimed he has "seen plenty of people like us who barely understand anything and just want a refund." He also argued that because we didn't complain during the blood draw, the outcome was somehow our fault. We were simply being polite -- mild discomfort during a blood draw is normal. Severe bruising afterward is what made us return. Instead of taking any responsibility, he denied everything and repeatedly demanded that we leave "his facility." Me and my wife went in on 2025/11/15 for blood test. $249 each. It was the owner (and also the medical practitioner) Danial Zhang working that day. The process was painful and my wife even draw extra pipe of blood because he complain my wife is not being able to give enough blood. Me and my wife ended up with very large purple red bruises on injection point. We came back today trying to get some explanation and seeking for refund (we can give up the blood test result and go for other facilities). Danial had only one response: "this is normal, this is common". And he turned around to another employee and said "I'm sorry for you to go through this" (meaning it's inappropriate that we came back for this). Danial also said "I've seen so many kids like you, get a bruise and want money back". He even said "I'm the owner of this facility, I could just ask you to leave. Do you want to leave now? Please leave now." We consider ourselves civilised and reasoning person, and in our whole life, we've done many blood tests, not one time did we get this large of bruises, and not to mentioned both of us get the bruises at the same time. read more

Untrustworthy results- I've done a few tests here in the past and never had an issue with the woman who works there. This third time I've used them and the man took my sample and it resulted in a negative for something I take and would expect to be positive and positive for something I don't consume. Did 3 tests, with 2 saying results in a couple days and 1 expecting results in just over a week, Took several weeks and multiple emails to get first test results. More time to get second. Never got 3rd at all but they lied and the credit card dispute failed. Now have to do a second dispute. Prices charged has no relation to prices on the website. Person doing the billing has no idea what was going on and the doctor wrote random prices down on a piece of paper. Nurse dropped the vials. Nurse didn't know how many / which type of vials to pull for the very basic tests. The vials and needle were all clean of course, but the blood drawing area was cluttered, floor dirty, boxes pilled everywhere and collapsing on themselves. Buyer beware! What you see on the website is not what you find in the office! The website claims "competitive and transparent lab test pricing". I pick the test at the listed price. I get tested. I pay cash. No insurance involved. Simple. But the prices on the national corporate website are not the prices charged at the time of testing. This is somewhat surprising if you miss the one time it is on their website in teeny, tiny print. The local office claims that they are a franchise and have no control over the corporate website pricing or displayed information. The higher billed price reflects the local economy out of necessity. They also claim that it is not their fault that the local number listed on the website for the local office wrongly confirmed the test price prior to my showing up for the appointment. Again, they claimed it was not their problem the call routes to a call center and I was quoted the website price by someone outside of the local office. If it matters to you, ASK in the office BEFORE you have the test done so you can walk away or you will be stuck paying more than you expected. Update: Although speaking to the franchise supervisor at the time did no good with correcting the billing issue, after a call to the corporate office to express my frustration with their inaccurate website and their franchise manager I did get a refund from the franchise. It waits to be seen if the issue will be corrected in the long run between the corporate website errors and the local management's lack of concern for customers. read more

I stopped by on Saturday during scheduled open hours to find they were closed. A printed sheet of paper with daily lab hours was taped to the door that indicated they were closed on Saturdays. The website clearly says they are OPEN on saturdays. I don't know if they just don't bother to update their website or some employee decided to take the day off and shut the place down. Either way, totally unreliable and a complete waste of my time. I have to wonder about the quality of patient care at a place that can't do something as simple as update their hours on a web page in this day and age. We had an appointment for a nasal swab COVID PCR test recently. We needed to get the test for travel to Hawaii. We had used this lab in December 2020 for the same reason and had a good experience, so we returned. They are a lab working with US Biotek which is a recommended COVID testing site by Hawaiian Airlines. The testing site is convenient, and they quickly turn around the results, but I was dissatisfied with their billing. We took two tests there and then were charged $538. I asked the person at the lab if this is correct because I thought it would be no more than $200 per person. He said that it was correct as the PCR test is $269 each. I asked if this was the price for the Hawaiian Airlines passengers and he said yes. I agreed to pay it as we had no other choice and the person seemed very sure that it was correct. When I got home I double-checked the site for Hawaiian Airlines passengers. When you click on the link through the Hawaiian Airlines site, it takes you to a booking page for the COVID tests through Any Lab Test Now. The costs listed are $90 for a PCR test for results in 48 to 72 hours and $150 for expedited results in 24 hours. I tried to call their office on Monday to check if there was an error in what I was charged. No one answered their office number and their voicemail box is full. (This was the case back in Dec 2020 when I also tried to reach them by phone.) I tried to call other numbers for their lab that I found on the web but was unable to reach anyone. I don't know who to contact at this point, other than going back to the lab to speak to someone in person, or contacting their corporate office as another reviewer did. I guess we will just have to deal with the cost but it seems very unreasonable to have to pay over $500 for two COVID tests. I may try to submit a complaint to US Biotek about this site as they are charging more than what is being advertised through Hawaiian Airlines (see screenshot). read more

You may get lucky and get a good nurse but their is something deeply wrong with the person running the Redmond, Renton and Tacoma locations. The staff is underpaid, TERRIBLE TRAINING and high turn over in the Renton location. I wrote a review of my experience on their Renton location and received a private message from a brand new user that has done no other activity since, telling me I am an asshole and that is why I got poor service. So whoever is "My Name J" I hope you find something else in your life because you are extremely unhappy or have a drug problem or something. I am very glad they did not follow through with my order after 3 weeks of trying, I would be scared to use anything from them. BTW: The 800 customer service is great and the first girl that tried to help me in person at Renton was very nice but made it very clear the doctor was unreliable in the delivery and follow through. Any Lab Test Now's website showed $129 per person for this specific test, which is similar to other labs, so we went there. Incompetent: they stuck needle into veins of 2 arms of my teen nephew w/o getting any blood flow. They never made the boy pump his fists or any other such things to increase circulation/flow! In the end they just failed, after sticking a kid with needle twice! When we went to Sea Mar in a couple of days, See Mar lab tech got blood flowing right away. Dishonest: after drawing blood (or failing to do so in the case of one of the boys) they told us that the price for TB blood tests is $209 ($189+tax)!!! We showed them the website with price $129, the lab assistant had some yelling session with lab manager but the end result was: they insisted that it was $209. We just left and went to Sea Mar. This was, by far, the worst blood-work experience ever, and one of the worst customer-satisfaction experience I've had in this country. The individual who drew my blood (the recipe says employee 184743137) was the rudest, most grating person I've seen in years. Everything about him - demeanor, attitude, intonation and word choice made me feel unwelcome to the extreme. He was so harsh that I was, for the first time in decades, afraid of how rough is he going to be with the needle (and he was). I don't say this lightly, but a person like that should NOT be working with customers at all. I strongly recommend people stay away from that branch, until such time as the company communicates that this employee won't be there anymore. read more

Went in on a Saturday to get a nutritional panel done. The guy working was extremely abrupt and didn't know much about the tests. He was rough when drawing blood and acted like we were doing him a disservice by being there. We were told results would be emailed in 3-4 business days. 9 days later and still no results, I drop in at 4:45 before they close at 5. The door is locked but the doctor next door sees me and rushes out. We get the results of some of the tests but the CBC can't be done on the weekend (no one told us and apparently the worker didn't know either) We were not called or emailed. I ended up having to take my son back the next day. Results for CBC were supposed to be back in 1-2 days. Still no email or phone call 7 days later. Had to stop in again and was finally given the results after Sunita telling me that she emailed them. They are busy with the Asian population getting Covid testing but that doesn't me they should neglect everyone else. They are very disorganized with paperwork. Papers and results just lying all over the desk. Go somewhere else. read more

This place was a hot mess. For some reason the woman doing the tests was from the body sculpting place next door... and although she was very nice she had no idea what she was doing and was being walked through by someone on one phone (Ester?) and arguing with a package service on another phone. Took quite a bit longer than it should have and the result was that that I got an email days later telling me my test was not processed correctly. I had to take time away from my new job to have the test redone by another testing location/company. If you run a business, there should be AT MINIMUM, 2 fully trained staff so that if one is away, you don't have to rely on an untrained neighbor with an apparently poorly written set of instructions to back-fill. This place is great every time! Three of us in our family have chronic illness and constantly have lab kits to do that Quest and Labcorp won't do. Absolute worst experience ever! Do not go here. Sunita was grumpy from the moment I walked in. I had an appointment and she was complaining the entire time that the doctor left her there by herself and she wasn't going to get a break. Feeling bad for scheduling during lunch time (the only time I could get down there) I apologized and she just continued to complain. She was not familiar at all with the test that I brought in, a simple allergy test. She had to draw from both arms almost 8 tubes even though the test only required 4 and I had specifically asked not to draw from my right arm because I needed to go back to work. The second draw really hurt and she took her gloves off before she was done. After all of this then she read the instructions and told me I should have brought in a frozen block. (Called my doctor after and she told me they should be equip with these so that patients don't need to bring them in). At this point she is instilling all sorts of fear and confusion that she can't send the test in today because it wont be frozen in time and that if we wait until tomorrow it will be past the 24 hour window and they wont be able to use it. She didn't even know where she was sending it to or how long shipment usually takes. Finally I call Genova the company that the test is sent to and they confirm that as long as they keep it frozen over night that shipping in the morning will be okay. Relieved I give her my paperwork and ask if she needs anything else. She says no but continues to accuse me of being mad at her and tell me how nice of a person she is. At this point I am way over my lunch break and try to tell her I am not upset with her I just needed clarification that is why I called Genova. I thank her and tell her I have to go back to work. 30 minutes later she leaves a voicemail saying she has to talk to me about my collection. When I call back she is very rude and demanding and tells me that I didn't pay her her $35. I explained to her that I asked if she needed anything else and she did not tell me about any additional fees. (The test was all being billed to insurance). I ask her if I can swing back in tomorrow afternoon and she says no. I ask her if she can bill me and she says no. I ask her if I can speak with the doctor and she says no. At this point she basically tells me she is going to hold my blood samples hostage and not send them unless I give her my credit card number over the phone. By the way she is speaking to me this is not something I feel comfortable in doing. I called back to Genova and they explain they are not in contract with any particular phlebotomy lab but based on what I was experiencing encouraged me not to give out my information to this woman but to go back to my physician, request another test and go to another lab to redo the whole thing. At the end of the day I wasted hours of my time, am left in pain, and will be getting zero results. I highly suggest that anyone needing blood work done go ANYWHERE else in the area. read more

WARNING: do not use this lab! They drew several vials of my blood for an out-of-state lab, lost it for several days, it showed up eventually warm and spoiled. Technicians and customer service contradicted each others stories about whereabouts of my blood. Worse yet, they have not answered the phone for more than a week, not returned voicemails. Then she didn't clean her hands and put gloves only after already preparing everything, then she poked me and hurt me pretty bad (I have a high pain tolerance but I can barely stretch my arm right now). Went in for a blood draw for a very extensive panel with three kits sent from three different Labs per Doctor's orders. All Instructions were included, each kit separated, with their individual orders. The phlebotomist was a bit scattered at first, but assured me that she had done this many times. It turns out that 16 vials of blood were taken that one piercing, and she was an expert at the actual draw, causing me little pain or discomfort. She then asked me to take away the box I had brought into the Lab carrying the kits and proceeded to stack the individual kits together to move them to another area of the office. I protested that they might get mixed up, but she once again assured me that she knew what she was doing. After the very satisfactory experience of the actual draw, I just let it go. She then charged me $85. The very next day I received a call from her saying she needed to charge an additional $30 for the draw. I did not protest, and placed the new charge on my credit card. Several days later, I received a call from my doctor's office saying that they were missing at least three critical tests, and now I would have to do a re-draw ASAP. I was upset, since to prepare for these tests requires a particular fasting protocol, which is not convenient. I set up an appointment for the following week to do a draw at another Lab. In the meantime I contacted my doctor's office to find out what had happened and forwarded their email responses directly to Any Lab Test now. I was referred to the owner, Dr Dan Zhang. When I called him, he began to get very upset, raising his voice to tell me that he would rather "pay-me-double" to not have any problems. I simply stated that a rebate of the extra $30 would be enough, I did not get what I had paid for, the testing they had provided was incomplete or non-existent. Would he be willing to pay twice for something he did not get himself? I would have to pay out of pocket for the second draw at a different Lab. He then said I could come back and be re-drawn at his Lab, but by then I had already completed another fasting regimen and gotten the new re-draw. I have since sent him an additional email and called twice but have not heard anything back to what I consider a very reasonable request. I called on a Saturday for an appointment on Monday. The phone was answered by someone who speaks English fluently. I said that I wanted a glucose tolerance test. She scheduled me for 8:30 Monday. I fasted overnight as I was supposed to. Arrived early, but they didn't open until 8:45. I went in and when I said I had an appointment, the lone person there didn't know about it. She spoke broken English in a very difficult to understand accent. Eventually, she said she was out of glucose. I said I would go somewhere else. I called another location from my car. I am terrified of needles, I have a serious fear of it so getting shots or blood drawn is a huge deal for me. I had to get blood tests done for my doctor so they sent me over here, and I am so so glad I chose this location. The women that works here in an angel sent from Heaven. When I saw the 8 or so vials she had to take I almost passed out right there, but little did I know it would be the best experience I have ever had. She took them quicker than I have had blood drawn with just two vials before. She did it so quick I was actually stunned, and she did a great job of distracting me so it was over essentially as soon as it began. I couldn't thank her enough, it was such a big deal to me!! I took my son here and they did not tell him that they did not bill insurance. They just billed $196 to my credit card which my son had for our $30 copay. Then, when I complained, they told me to get reimbursed from my insurance for the charges. So I went home and went online to get the reimbursement documents and the lab has not responded to my multiple requests for the diagnostic code, provider number and copy of the billing receipt with those items that my insurance company requires for reimbursement. I have gone to the Redmond location for blood draws three times. I had the same phlebotomist each time, and she is very good. No bruises and I barely felt the needle sticks. BTW, be sure to get there by 4:00 if having blood work. It takes some time to process the tests, and the employee is not allowed to stay past five p.m. Getting blood drawn is not much fun, but I have no complaints about my experience at ALTN. read more

This was my second visit to the Redmond location and both visits have been great experiences. Though still in my 20s, I have to get a lot of lab work done in order to keep on top of an autoimmune disease (which I've partly reversed, YAY!). My phlebotomist was patient and explained things well. She went above and beyond, both in making sure that my name was filled out correctly on the vials and that I was comfortable for the draw. I have a really hard time finding ANY lab that will draw for 3rd party tests, due to the fact that these labs want you to buy their own test kits. Because of this, I really appreciate AnyLabTestNow! My first visit here was after a very stressful 5 hour trip all over Seattle, in search of someone, anyone who would draw for my poor fasting self. I had to do the blood test after a urine collection where you could only drink 3 cups of water the day before, so I did NOT want to have to perform that part of the test again! Being a swimmer, I drink TONS of water and felt like I was dying from thirst and so I REALLY APPRECIATED AnyLabTestNow for taking my kit! As their Seattle location is now closed, I highly recommend Redmond for my fellow Seattle dwellers! Aside: I ALWAYS see negative reviews for labs (this isn't directed towards the reviews for this lab, just a generalization I've noticed, so please do read all reviews).
