There is no Yelp for the Cliff Shadows Pkwy location- BEWARE one of their phlebs is a Primerica senior representative and the tech attending to me TRIED TO SELL ME LIFE INSURANCE WHILE I WAS IN THE CHAIR. Not only that, but she disguised it as if this was a service offered by my doctor's office (unrelated practice on the same floor). She TOLD me, that she would PULL MY PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION FROM MY CHART without ANY prior consent, in order to set up a consultation with her. Absolutely disgusted, because who KNOWS how many unsuspecting patients she's done this to already. Grateful she chose to give her sales pitch to the wrong one on the morning of 08/06/26. The LABCORP manager was informed and has NOT followed up with me, or offered any resolution or apology. From my understanding, the tech is still actively employed. The location was reported to the US Dept of Health & Human Services & OCR regarding violating HIPAA. This action will not be taken lightly. read more

Elizabeth seemed aggravated before we met. When she called my name, before I could get up, she had already walked back to her room. I stood in the hallway trying to figure out where to go, hoping she would come back, and get me. I guess when she didn't see me, she called my name loudly from the room. I had to figure out who called me, and from which room she was in. When I sat down, she immediately told me to hold my arm out, (stiff) and don't move. I was used to being verified first, but I guess they don't do that anymore. I tried to tell Elizabeth that my other arm was better because the vein was more visible, but she cut me off, and said, "Don't move." As I sat there, I could feel the needle moving around in my arm. I asked her what happened. She said, "You moved. I told you to stay still." She spoke to me in a tone that sounded like she was scolding a child. When I told her that she was hurting my arm with the needle, she pulled it out, and walked out of the room. I could hear her asking for help. When Shakira said she would do it. Shakira came in, verified me, then took my blood. She was polite, hospitable, and quick. That is how it should have been done from the beginning. I don't know why Elizabeth was the way she was with me, but it was unacceptable. I will make sure that if I ever come back to this location, she is not my phlebotomist. read more

First, they had me confused with another patient, that took 1/2hr to straightened out. Its not very professional inside and the 1 toilet is in the lobby. The technician took 3 times to get my blood which left severe bruising. She told me I need to drink more water. She also missed 1 order. WOW / What an amazing experience! My appointment was at 1:00 PM, but I arrived at 12:35. The check-in process was very easy. After signing in, I waited maybe one or two minutes in the waiting area before being called in. The staff were extremely polite and professional. Honestly, I have never experienced such excellent service before. I had two tests done, and both were completed within five minutes. After sitting in an overly crowded lobby at Quest and finding out they did not accept my insurance, lab work would cost a whopping 1000 dollars! I went to Labcorp, and the experience was great! They had a spacious and uncrowded lobby, the staff was professional and personable, they took my insurance, and after checking into the kiosk and scanning my license and insurance card, I was out of there expediently. The cost for lab work cost me a reasonable 60.00. Parking is free for two hours, and I will use Labcorp in the future. read more

Today I was waiting for bloodwork at the Tenaya location and incident happened with a dad and his young daughter. What I saw was nothing but God in this moment. The two women at the front desk reacted with such quickness. I know the reviews of them haven't been favorable. Please understand this is hard industry. I want let Labcorp know that the two black women up front did what they had to do! They calmed down the father and took very good care of his daughter. Please recognize this women. Respect them! According to lab technicians, this place makes errors when labeling samples. I don't recommend this lab; not professional and made me lose confidence in their techs. Fortunately I was not getting my blood drawn because I was ill. No other patients were in the lobby and with a smooth check in, it did not take long for a tech to come to the front. However, that tech was stopped when a fellow tech at the front desk wanted clarification on a procedural change. I was able to easily hear their conversation; confused tech was frustrated with when they are to label samples, and it was explained that mislabeling samples with incorrect patient name has happened a lot here. Confused tech was still frustrated and even using profanity. Lost all confidence when I heard critical errors can potentially happen. Wish techs could have had that conversation when a patient was not present. The convo was not short, not professional, and could have easily been continued after I was seen. read more

Go here for quarterly blood work. The staff at the front counter is hit and miss. I prefer the ladies who always have been kind and helpful. I went to drop off a 24 hr urine collection and the guy grabbed the handles from the bag and didn't support the bottom so it fell out and hit the ground, luckily the bottle didn't explode and go all over. He was rude when I arrived because the tech said all I had to do was drop off at front counter and when I went to the counter he snapped and said I needed to check in. I politely told him that that was not the directives I received and he didn't need to be rude. I checked in and took a seat til he called me up. I guess it was karma coming to scare him when he dropped the urine bottle. I wouldn't have been happy if it had to be redone. I would give Diamond 5 stars and the tech who took my blood 5 stars but not the guy who took my specimen I would give him 1 Star. read more

I had the best experience I've ever had today in all my years of doing labs. I was inside the lab, from start to finish, for perhaps 15 minutes max. The level of efficiency was incredible, I spoke to two lovely employees who were very kind and professional. My labs were drawn by Anickqua, who was flat out the best phlebotomist I've ever encountered. (I know this may sound silly on my part, but I get really anxious over labs because I'm usually a "hard stick"). I wish every time I ever needed labs she could do them, y'all please give this lady a raise!! I made an appointment online through labcorp for my son. We came in on Thursday afternoon for a scheduled appointment in the afternoon at 3:15. This Labcorp location is relatively easy to get to. It's off of the 95/cheyenne. You can take tenaya off of cheyenne and it's a few blocks down. Labcorp is located on the second level of the building. You can take either the elevator up or the stairs to Labcorp. The room was completely empty. Since we scheduled online, everything was relatively automated. We came in and checked in at the kiosks they had at Labcorp. I had the barcode on my phone which allowed easy check-in to the facility. At the front register, the staff was very friendly. I provided the forms required and insurance. We were immediately called and went to the back of labcorp. We were pretty much in and out of the labcorp within 15 minutes. read more

Did a nice job with the lab draw. It is a very busy office so be prepared. Also, it is difficult to get an appointment but they can get to you Pretty quickly. Do yourself a favor and verify with ordering doctor if any have to be drawn while fasting or if it has to be drawn before 9 am. I've been to this location several times. It's easy to check in & update info on the kiosks. I've never waited more than an hour without an appointment. The ladies at the front desk are not the most courteous but the friendly techs have made up for their shortcomings. I highly suggest you bring a copy of your lab work orders otherwise they will request you return with the orders. Appointments are not easily accessible online, it appears they have very limited dates & times available. I was able to make an appointment & was actually in & out within 10 minutes of my appointment time with a full lobby of people waiting. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

Very nice staff. They take walk ins. They also take other lab order paperwork that are not lab corp. I had lab paperwork from quest but I had to get it done at Labcorp instead. They accepted me on the same day. Wait time was not long. And I went during a busy time. Depending on who is working at reception your experience could be excellent or horrendous. If the "Express" check in is not working they can check you in at reception. However if it is working they cannot even try. The phlebotomist I have had are fabulous. Waiting room is clean and most of the staff members are pleasant and helpful. read more

If you get hangry like me and struggle with fasting for 12hr, you'll want to schedule at least a week ahead of time to secure an AM appointment. A lab is a lab so it's never a fun place to go. Lol. I can say as far as I remember the staff are usually pretty nice there. I don't remember anything bad and I've been going there for years. The only thing that did highly irritate me were the few times my doctor didn't fax over the paperwork (or the fax was lost) and I didn't have a paper copy. I used to go to Quest when we had different insurance and everything was "in the system" with them. I wish LabCorp would have the same set up so we're not running into these situations where we're in the lobby trying to get a hold of doctors offices to get the lab orders faxed over. One time I had to sit in the lobby and wait about 40 minutes just for my doctor to get back from lunch so they could fax the paper. That was the last time I went without papers in hand! I first tried the LabCorp on Cheyenne only to find a sign on the door saying they shut down a day or so ago. Found this Tenaya location easily though Cheyenne had some lane closures for road construction. Office was easy to find with plenty of close parking. Elevator ride up to suite 202 where I checked in on a kiosk. Starting at 9:30am, I was in and out without an appointment for blood work in less than 30 minutes. It was The Most Unprofessionalism LabCorp in All the LabCorp I've ever been to The Front Desk Especially The Young Lady Temeka and the Heavy Set lady that was working with her they were the first people you see and the way they carried on about their personal life and how tired they were it was hard for me to sit there and I know that the Lobby of Patients heard it as well but I'm not use to that type of Professionalism from a Professional Place my daughter works In Pediatrics and Have Never Had a Complaint About Her Job she does and she works with Doctors, Nurses, and Social Workers and Parents for her Kiddos This Office Needs To Be Adit Atleast Every Month without them knowing to see how they conduct business. The guidelines weren't followed! The person who checked me in, gave me the urine specimen cup did not have face shield or GLOVES on. The door was closed so every person had to touch surfaces, the social distancing was not followed in the waiting room (people were congregating around the corner because the seats were occupied). The bathroom was not clean or cleaned between patients. I do not know if the chair where you get your blood drawn was cleaned between patients but I did not smell, or see evidence of it. I told the tech that there was a person in the waiting room coughing and blowing her nose the entire time I was waiting and she just said that she thinks with the dust,etc it was probably allergies! I had an appointment on 07/24/2018 for 10:15 AM at 2851 N Tenaya Way, Suite 202, Las Vegas, NV, 89128. When I arrived at the location at 10 AM there was a note on the door stating with all capital letter: " WE APOLOGIZE THE LAB IS CLOSED UNTIL NOON TODAY PLEASE REFER TO THE LIST BELOW FOR THE NEAREST LABCORP LOCATION. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVIENENCE THIS MAY CAUSE." Yes they have misspelled "inconvenience" I was at the same location fasting few days before and they rudely told me everybody has to have an appointment and they don't take any walk-in !! Now what? They want me to go to other location and hear the same thing? I'm diabetic and with the whole confusion and stress they have caused I have to find out what to do. No call/text or email regarding this issue before I showed up. I called customer service and finally after an hour wait time I told them about what has happened. This is the shittiest excuse for a lab I have ever seen anyway to save a buck. First off you have to check yourself in on a tablet which theres always a line for and no one knows what the fuck there doing so it takes for ever. Then they call you to the window to ask the same stupid shit you put into the tablet then they tell you dont have an appointment so it's going to be a while if they can even get to you.
