Not only that, but she disguised it as if this was a service offered by my doctor's office (unrelated practice on the same floor). She TOLD me, that she would PULL MY PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION FROM MY CHART without ANY prior consent, in order to set up a consultation with her. Absolutely disgusted, because who KNOWS how many unsuspecting patients she's done this to already. Grateful she chose to give her sales pitch to the wrong one on the morning of 08/06/26. The LABCORP manager was informed and has NOT followed up with me, or offered any resolution or apology. From my understanding, the tech is still actively employed. When I complained that I had always had my bloodwork done there from that same doctor, they pointed to a sign that said "Only Optumcare patients" but I am an Optumcare patient, and my doctor is an Optumcare subscriber. It was kind of humiliating they way they did it, in front of the whole waiting room of people. I was stunned. It was 7.00 a.m. and I was hungry, fasting, and had driven over 12 miles. They were kind of rude about it, like "hey idiot, can't you read." So I called SW Medical hotline. They said my doctor is not an Optumcare doctor too. But then I had another procedure that same day at SW Medical, in radiology, and they said he was an Optumcare provider and had no problem with me and my order for that procedure. Been a few weeks now? My calls go straight to the answering system, no reply from back from their office, I had already tried emailing...same non-response. I had a hysterectomy…read moreat a different practice and my issues and complications after surgery were dismissed multiple times and I could not find a provider willing to help me for months. My friend suggested the obgyn center so i made an appointment. I began with Dr. Rosie who is an absolutely kind, precious, and smart woman who treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. She did what she could to help, and after a few visits she let me know my complicated condition needed an extra pair of hands, so she referred me to Dr. Mauban. This is so tremendous because I have seen plenty of providers who will just dump you as a patient when things get too complex, the fact that she kindly and gracefully handed me off to a doctor within the same practice truly made things so much easier. It made me feel cared for rather than dismissed like i usually am. I greatly appreciate that she didn't make me find a new doctor on my own and i truly appreciate her and would absolutely see her again! Dr. Mauban has been absolutely amazing in addressing every single issue that I have had. If we try something and it doesn't work, she keeps digging for answers until something works. She is also extremely kind and so smart, even when she delivers me bad news she says it in a kind and compassionate way, she makes things very clear and easy to understand while still remaining empathic and compassionate. She always makes me feel welcome, comfortable, and i leave my visits knowing what the plan is. This is one of the few doctors that i see who doesn't leave me stressed and uneducated after my visits. I leave here feeling hopeful and like we achieved something. I cannot say enough about how I appreciate both Dr. Rosie and Dr. Mauban.
