I had a very disappointing experience here. I checked in at 7:00 AM, but no one acknowledged patients until around 7:20. When names were finally called, it was done quietly through a glass window, making it nearly impossible to hear. The staff member I encountered was rude, and overall professionalism was lacking--employees were not in proper attire and were wrapped in blankets, which did not leave a good impression. The facility also did not feel clean or well-maintained, which is concerning for a medical setting. Unlike Quest Diagnostics, which typically has a clear system showing who is being served and expected wait times, this location has no organization or communication--it felt very outdated. What makes it even worse. The mean lady at the front desk is the only person working at this location. So she draws her blood super rough and again totally unfriendly. read more

Last week, I had a bad experience with my regular goto Labcorp in Miami Beach (this location) when they closed their office to the public for several days without telling the patients! They closed because their a/c wasn't working, which is understandable. Although I had a bona fide appointment with them on 08/2/25 and they have all of my information, they never called me to let me know that their office was closed! I found out after I drove all the way to their office on the 5th floor and found a note on their door that they were closed. I called them several times that day and left messages at their office as they requested but they never called me back to this day. I called their corporate office and I was informed that I should go to a Walgreens in Allapatha, FL for Labcorp testing because this office would be closed for a while. So I had to spend almost $60 to travel by Lyft to a Labcorp at Walgreens for my bloodwork instead of the closest location to my home. I also had to wait for another available appointment at Walgreens Labcorp. It was all very inconvenient for me. I hope management looks at this situation and changes their protocol for notifying their patients of a sudden closure of their office. I do appreciate that Walgreens gives space to Labcorp to perform this very important function. It really helped me out in this situation. read more

Only 1 person works here. I came and the waiting room was empty. No patients inside. Registered at Kiosk. My name was the only one on the electronic waiting board. After waiting 15 minutes, rang bell at desk, knocked on door, called out if anyone was there.... no response. Found number and called... no one answered. Finally the single employee opens the door and says I have to wai and closes the door. They NEED to hire more people!!! They used to have w or 3 people working at this location several years ago. I walked in without an appointment because the only way to make an appointment was online (you couldn't speak with anyone) and the next appointment was a week from now. There was no one waiting in the waiting room, my order had been delivered electronically, the technician had me check in, took me right away and did a nice job on the blood draw. Ideally, I could get my lab results online, in addition to my physician, but that's not how they seem to do it. Frankly, if I could have made the appointment more easily, I would have given them 5*, but why did it show that the next available appointment was a week from now when I'm in acute pain and need the most immediate appointment? An absolute waste of time trying to come here. The machine that you are supposed to check in with because nobody is actually working at the front desk does not work. I had to figure out how to check in manually and then at the end it tells you to wait wherever you are comfortable because they will text you when they are ready for you. Since there were about 30 people waiting, including people standing all along the walls, I went back downstairs to my car to wait for a text. After 45 minutes I came back up just to check and since there's nobody working at the desk, I had to ring the doorbell. No one came, but after about 5 minutes the lady opened the door to call the next patient. She had no intention of helping in any way but I said I had checked in manually a long time ago and I wanted to confirm it worked because I haven't received any text. She got attitude and said she probably called me already and I would have to check in again and wait. Mind you, why would you catch attitude from me asking a very legitimate question after being instructed to wait for a text from the system? I'm the customer here, is there no customer service? Her excuse was that she's working alone which really isn't my problem and she wasn't bothering to send texts. But if you're working alone, wouldn't using the technology that is supposed to streamline operations make it easier on you and be more efficient? Isn't that the point of it? I went to check back in and then came to the conclusion that I don't want someone that dumb or with that much attitude sticking a needle in my arm. This is the closest location to where I live and after this past experiences I will never go back. I would have given 0 stars. They butchered my arms as they couldn't find veins and instead of bringing another doctor to try, she injected my other arm. Completely unprofessional, incompetent, bad bedside manor. I went back the next day bc I was horrified w the bruising, they did not apologize, only said to ice it. They could have recommended icing when she messed up. Arrived at 8:45 without an appointment but I had my insurance and ID handy and was in and out within about a half hour. A couple of people after me came without their insurance cards thinking that since they were already in the system they didn't need it - this was a mistake as this location apparently has no fax machine, email or printer (!) so those unfortunate folks had to go back home and get their cards. The plebotomist who took my blood and sample was hilarious and friendly and found the vein with no trouble. Pro tip 1: Make an appointment, or come in the early afternoon, they say that's their slowest time. Otherwise expect to wait at least a half hour. Pro tip 2: A lot of blood tests require fasting, so make an early appointment so you don't go hungry all morning. Pro tip 3: If you forget your insurance card and can get it off the internet, don't go all the way home, there's a Postal Place across the street (east) where you can print whatever you need. Pro tip 4: Don't pee at home when you have a lab in the morning!! read more

I came right before closing and the person at the front desk wanted to help process me and went out of his way to squeeze me in. Sorry folks I had to give this place star one for not having any services from this worst nightmare corpora..tion companies!!!!!!!1 i came here for my appointment somehow they made me wait for more than four hours to get my blood work drawn.... unreliable faculty staff within their lack of professionals & mannerless. I tself need to paint over place, keep it super clea, tidy, and germ free... I wasn't impressed with this nurse whom gave me blood drawn for my doctors order after he made me sit on high chair without get time to relax before it gets done with bloodwork for few minutes... I felt extremely sore it & numb over my right shoulder and arm for two weeks! I personally hate needles it is based on one of my fears! I wish all nursed would do something mroe considerate to give patients some comfort while they get it done with bloodwork without rushing off time..... they closed too wwy early than at four thirty o'clock it was supposed to be closed by that time without paying attention to patients requests (needs). It wasn't right to be rude toward them when it comes for their appointment take like forever..... LabCorp on Arthur Godfrey Road - I was there at 7:30 am. The elevator took me up to the 5th floor then down again without opening. Happened to me twice before I was able to actually get out... so rough start. I paid for the service online through stdcheck.com. They provide a receipt which you are supposed to print and take with you. If you don't have a printer, you can fax it to them online from the STDcheck site. I didn't have a printer so fax'd it. When you get there you sign in, the guy at the window calls you and asks for your insurance, whatever, but if you have this receipt he just takes the control number and you are set. I waited maybe 10 minutes because while I was going up and down in the elevator others were getting ahead of me by stairs lol!! Still 10 minutes is not bad for first come first served. The doctor, I guess she is a doctor, is extremely efficient. Calls out three names at a time telling you which room number to go and wait in. Within three minutes of sitting down in my room, she appeared and took blood painlessly. Barely felt anything. Then she gave me a cup, said, leave it on that table in the hall and if I don't see you, have a good day... and she is off to the next room. I like that, she knew what she needed, got it done with no BS and was polite. So I give this specific location high marks, they are relaxed, fast, polite and it's a clean location. I also give STDcheck high marks for the appointment setting, will wait to rate them to see how they do with delivery of results. All in all I couldn't ask for a better experience. read more

Labcorp has gotten a lot better and quicker with the check in system. Easy self check in, as long as you have your drivers license and insurance information. Javier is the best phlebotomist ever. He is fast but gentle! I have very small veins and it is always a problem with other phlebotomists Javier found the right one in less than three seconds, no pain and no bruising. Everyone must have blood work at some point in their life. It is a doctor's way of saying they control your life. I have been to LabCorp in several different cities and have always had good experiences and so searched out a location that was close to me. I chose this location because it wasn't in the hood. Finding the location is somewhat difficult. It is located in an upstairs unit that is only accessible from the center of the building -- very easy to pass. The elevator is broken, so you must take the stairs to get to this particular LabCorp. Upon entering the LabCorp, you are greeted by a man that speaks very little English and says "Papi" a lot. Normally, I am forgiving of people that don't speak English since we are in Miami. It is just difficult for people to learn. What irks me, though, is when I ask someone to speak louder and they just assume that they should switch languages. Really? What makes you think I will understand your mumbling, garbled English any better than your mumbling Spanish. And, please, stop calling me "papi." I am neither your dad nor your lover and do not appreciate the name calling. After being called in for my appointment 15 minutes late, the lady that was taking the blood proceeded to dig around in my arm. To add insult to injury, she dropped that hard-earned blood on the chair and the floor as she removed the needle from my arm. After a haphazard cleaning, I left with a pain in my arm. I think next time I will take my chances in the hood. read more

I started by going to Mount Sinai Medical Ctr in Miami Beach for the bloodwork, however after spending over an hour at the hospital, I was told that the type of tests I needed, could not be performed at the hospital and to go elsewhere. As I was driving home, I checked for the nearest LabCorp and this one popped up. I was apprehensive about using this lab as past reviews were not all positive, but I was desperate. Well, this was one of the best experiences I have ever had about a lab. Beautiful building, the office was clean and properly set for CoViD protocol. I checked in and by the time I was done, I was called in. It was around 10:00am and I was a walk-in. The name of the tech who took attended me is Amelia. Professional, personable, friendly, gentle and caring, as evidenced by how she reacted to my comments of not liking needles and that my veins collapse. She listened and used a very thin needle. I needed about nine vials drawn, after 24 hrs, I do not have a black and blue. I would definitely use this lab for future bloodwork. read more

It seems that in 12 months there has been some improvement. I have had at least three blood treatments in the past 2 months and though their English hasn't improved much the blood work was relatively painless and speedy. The receptionist and the nurse have always been polite and the process has run very smoothly. If you have the address 925 Arthur Godfrey, Ste 200 it shouldn't be too difficult to locate. Arthur Godfrey Road is also 41st street off Alton Road. The elevator is working, but I did notice that most tenants and customers used the staircase (one floor!)
