When I arrived I signed in. As a new patient, the sign in sheet told me to fill out a new patient form. I asked the receptionist for one and she gave me a look like I had told her I torture puppies for a living. She said "Nope," and went back to whatever she was doing. This place is not so bad. Small, hidden. I understand they deal with a hand full of people but they could be more generous here. I came in to do a basic drug test. They told me I had to make an appointment when I told them I called the day before to make one. They told me on the phone that you don't have to, just come in. No greeting welcome just a basic sign in and will call you, can't even asked a simple question. They have attitude here so If I were you try to come in not being in a rush or with a negative attitude. It does get packed so be patient. Again this place blows for service. read more

Honestly if I can leave no stars I would. Lobby area is way too small and gets overfilled quickly. The lady at the front desk (with the glasses I believe she is Filipina) is terrible! Very rude! It was 10:20 I had been there probably since 10 waiting in line to check in. I'm currently pregnant and needed to take my 1 hour glucose test. Finally when I got a chance to speak to her she said "oh it's too late for that now" I'm like "what? It's 10:20!" She responds "we close at 12!" Then her coworker (Indian lady really nice) had me still check in. I checked in waited another 5 mins and then she says "oh we don't even take your insurance" my OBGYN specifically sent me here to do this test. Another guy had been there with his family since opening time and she said to him "oh this is a special test we don't even do this on Saturday you would need to come Monday through Friday" after he had been there since 9am checked in with his small child and wife! Terrible!! Terrible service. And when I told the next customer that I would never recommend going here the Indian receptionist herd me and I'm sure genuinely knew her coworker is wrong for how she provides her customer service and was trying to make up for it! read more

I have come to this office previously with good experience with both the front desk and , but today was a different story. It was after noon and the waiting area was full with no one going back for service. I suspect the staff went to lunch and didn't care enough to let those sitting in the waiting area know!? There was no one up front for awhile, then she emerged and rudely told me to write my name down and sit down! The radio was blaring and I was shocked that no one was being called from the full waiting room to go back, and there was no explanation from the staff on how long the wait would be nor why the line was not moving. Someone needs to mind the store, for this is a fee for service business whether it be cash or reimbursement from our insurance. Patients deserve better than this so I will go elsewhere. read more

I had to take my father here to get a sputum test so it should have been a quick in and out to pick up and drop off the containers. My first visit was average. The receptionist was not very friendly but I didn't mind it. My second visit was a bit frustrating. There was no one at the desk and I could see two men walking around in the back. I was knocking and yelling "Excuse me!" multiple times before someone acknowledged my presence... then told me to wait. Again, not very friendly service. I've been here ones and I guarantee you never again. As soon as I stepped in that door I could feel they've don't want me there. I don't know if because I'm wearing a scrubs or what. At that time all I want to do was drop off a specimen for my child. They made me sign in and wait 20mins for no apparent reason. The 2 lady employees where trying to figuring out how to process some specimen. I just need to leave that Lab Crop place and go to other lab, corner of McKee and Jackson they're far way better than Lab Crop. read more

I didn't really have any issues, except the lobby is a bit small and was full at the time. I checked myself in (easy) and about 15-20 mins later I was in the back giving my sample. Number one problem: the service is horrible. No saying hello, good morning, or can I help you? Or what do u need? One girl was reading some thing, one was on the phone. I said hi but they didnt bother to look up. Number two problem: their skills. The blood work could not be done but both of my arms were swollen like two big cherry. They blamed on me for having small arms. Really?! This is the 8th time I have to do the blood test in the last six months. Never had problem with other technicians at 3 different labs. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I will not be returning due to my arm bruising. I ended up getting a hematoma. When I go to the lab Corp on Aborn that never happens. The only reason why I came to this location was because the one on Aborn is closed on weekends. My arm still hurts after the phlebotomist withdrawaled blood from my arm that is not normal. The worst part about my arm bruising is that the phlebotomist didn't even ask which arm she could use. She assumed that it was okay to take out blood from my right arm, which I use for driving. As you can imagine how painful that must feel. You guys need to work on asking the patient which arm don't assume that it is okay to poke people where you want to. That is why I choose the Aborn location they always ask me which arm is okay for them to withdrawal blood from they never assume, and I never get hematomas at that location. read more

If you want to be in and out of this place, go online and make an appointment. If you don't make an appointment, you will be waiting for days since they are extremely busy during the weekends. When I came in for my blood work, I was checked in within 5 minutes and out of there within 15 minutes since I planned ahead and made an appointment. The staff are friendly and the technician I worked with was great since they didn't hurt me and was able to find a vein quickly. Overall experience was great and no complaints. read more

All I went for was a drug screen so nothing too dramatic for me. There was only once other person in the waiting room when I arrived (about 10 minutes early) but they got me in before my appointment time. The bathroom where you do your business is slightly depressing because of all the rachet tape everywhere and lack of space. I was scared because of all the negative reviews but maybe I just got lucky. Was in and out in 10 minutes tops. read more

Absolutely do not waste your time. I spent 2 hours just to take a urine drug test...2 hours. Additionally, they were bothered when unasked if they wanted either my confirmation number or the client number. "Whatever number they have you" she snapped at me. The girl behind the desk was rude. Oh my gosh so rude. No level of customer service in that receptionist. She was rude not only to me, but to every patient that walked into that clinic. Went on line and thought I had an appointment time at 8:30 am. Signed in at 8:15 and checked off the box for yes I have an appointment. The place was very busy so I was prepared to be patient. At 9:15 the rude lady with the reddish hair called someone up for a 9:00 am appointment, so I went to the desk to ask why my 8:30 time would be after a 9:00 am time. This lady in a real nasty tone of voice informed me that I didn't have an appointment. I told her that I had made one and she said no you don't have a time. I asked why she hadn't told me that at 8:15 when I checked in instead of having me sit there for an hour. All she could was that she didn't care. I left and made another appointment at the Almaden clinic for 11:45. Walked in at 11:30 and was done by 11:35. I WONT EVER GO TO THE CLINIC ON JACKSON AGAIN, EVEN THOUGH IT IS MUCH CLOSER TO MY HOME. THE RECEPTIONIST IS A BITCH WHO HATES HER JOB AND THE CLIENTS. read more

I am a regular labcorp user. I have semi-monthly labs since 2002... this place (Jackson ave) had a young lady processing that was very organized and effective. the phlebotomists were butchers though. they insisted, even though it was very evident I had abused veins, on using huge pipes to draw the few tubes needed. sure enough, they missed usually, even though one of my veins is prominent, if not hardened. I have even been called back after going home and breaking my fast, to come back as they 'forgot' to draw a tube.... the young lady is now gone, presumably to a better job, and her replacement is a short 'kid' that treated me like some punk rather than a man old enough to be his grandfather. He was abrupt and sharp with me, directing me to hop up and walk back to where I stood not a minute before, all due to his disorganization. Clearly he has no patient skills whatsoever, and when he took the very last walk-in after MY APPOINTMENT time, while I still sat,,,, well, that was the very LAST straw. Medicare pays good money for my test, and my time is as valuable as anyone elses. I dont starve and thirst myself, to have my test postponed for someone else. It isnt fair, and it is certainly disrespectful. I had to find another location, clear across town but it is better than the disrespect at Jackson. when you google Labcorp, it only shows about 3 of the numerous locations in San Jose. with due respect to this location, when I called to have my lab forms transferred to another location, they DID at least act somewhat professional. edit comment: I notice that most of the positive reviews come from Women, so I wonder if they do indeed treat women better than men. the walkins taken before me on my visit were all women. read more

Wow, I am stunned! Just experienced the worst customer service possible. I will not return.

The most unprofessional lab testing place I have ever been to. When I walked in there was no one in sight for over 10 minutes. I saw there was a sign in sheet on the front desk, so I signed in. Once the lady finally appeared she would not address me by name, which was written on the sign in sheet, but instead just started barking orders at me. This same lady then forced me into signing and dating the paper that states I saw the transfer of my urine into a new container and then closed with a tamper proof seal BEFORE I even gave my sample. I asked 3 times if I was supposed to sign this before and she would just bark "sign it" every time I asked. This is NOT legal. Having never done a drug screening before I did not know this was not the correct way for doing things until after I left and talked to many other people and different lab testing places. Again, having never done this before I asked when to expect my results to which the lady refused to answer.. which to me seemed very suspicious. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. read more
