I went for a blood test yesterday at around 3:40 PM and it was a great experience. I overheard the staff telling another patient that they generally don't have more drop-in times after 3:45 PM so I'm glad I got there when I did. My phlebotomist was very kind and caring. I let her know that I have a tendency to faint and needed to lie back. She put me in their version of a lounge chair. She even aimed a little fan at me and gave me a cold pack to put on my chest. Her blood draw was smooth and hardly hurt at all. She was excellent. I wish I remembered her name but it started with a T and she wore red scrubs. It was one of my best blood draw experiences! I have to give this place a shout out! I was a little nervous after seeing the unhappy reviews at pretty much every Labcorp location around, but when a girl needs a blood draw, she needs a blood draw. I figured they were probably better than me trying to do it myself. I made an appointment online (same day). Tip: When I tried to book originally, it was three weeks out, but if you look in the morning, there'll be open appointments because people cancel. When I arrived there were a handful of people there, a few walk-ins (I heard them talking). Labcorp staff were moving folks through - fast, friendly, professional. For the actual act, they were supportive and positive (I'm hard to get blood from) and only had to poke me twice. A++ Here's what's making me get on for this review, though. The person checking folks in (Cy? Si?) asked me, "Did you bring a lab slip?" which I had walked out and forgotten on the printer. Instead of me bein' all sad and needing to go home and make another appointment (after fasting until 1:30pm) she said, "Is it in your email? You can just email it to me and I'll print it for you." walk-in: i don't reside in washington & had to get my blood drawn twice while i was in seattle. that in itself was stressful, navigating through a new city. but i am beyond thankful we found this spot! with my ID & health insurance card, i was able to check in at the kiosk when i arrived. it said my wait was 3+ hours but i was called within 45 minutes on a friday & within 20 minutes on a monday. service: this was one of the few labcorp locations that answered the phone (good sign). i appreciated how the in-take employee confirmed my lab request before i got my blood drawn (was able to switch from regular to STAT on the spot). she was kind & made me feel welcomed. the second time i came in, she remembered me! the phlebotomists were quick & friendly. STAT results were uploaded into the portal within 4 hours! there is a decent sized waiting room so you could distance yourself from others. they also offer masks, hand sanitizer & water. overall the space was clean. misc: garage parking is free! there's a yummy croissant bakery + cafe walking distance so you can treat yourself after that blood draw bc why not. there's an option to go upstairs using stairs or the elevator would recommend this spot to anyone who needed a blood draw asap! read more

On their website, Labcorp allowed me to schedule today although it's a holiday. So I assumed they're still open and I show up, only to see they're closed with others outside showing up for their scheduled appointment (frustrated just as much as I). Why would any business allow you to schedule on a day they know they're not open??? ‍‍‍ Thanks for wasting my time. read more

I had a good experience coming here. I didn't have an appt so I was worried about the wait times but I was able to get checked in and taken care of. There was a bit of a hiccup because my doctor provided a diagnostic code that wasn't valid so that's the only thing that held me up a bit but otherwise getting lab drawn here was the most pleasant experience. The woman drawing the blood did such a good job that I barely felt anything. I also like that there's a reclining chair which helped me relax more. Thank you! read more

Convenient location; patient parking for Bastyr Center patients. Check in at the kiosk. Uncrowded waiting room. So far, so good. Waited. Waited 2 hrs. Left. I don't think anyone actually works at this site. The other locations are usually slammed, but at least they display some signs of life. Live and learn. Guess the fasting didn't hurt. read more

Overall great experience for a testing clinic. The morning staff at the Stone Way Lab Corp on December 18, 2023 were top notch in my opinion. We had an appointment, arrived early, close to check-in, and were seen in no time at all. The procedure (blood draw) was executed expertly by Mays, who was very pleasant to work with and exhibited a reassuring "bedside manner" to my teen--who does not like needles. I have had the pleasure of going to see them twice in a few weeks. The first time was mid-morning when a few people were waiting and I learned how ot use their machine check-in system. I waited, got in and intuition told me to ask what was on list. So I did- some on list were not on the list determined by the doctor and some from the determined list were not there. I declined anything which I knew was not on my list. They were professional about it. Kind, courteous and no drama. The puncture was quick and expert- no pain. Saw my doctor and got straightened out what was supposed to be given- somehow someone used incorrect list- so I was correct that what was on orders was not on list agreed upon. Today I arrived and I was only one. However somehow the orders were not sent to them They asked me to go back downstairs and ask for on-call doctor to release them . Front desk called the doc- who said they were already released. I go dup to Blood Draw and they papers - order on internet- had not arrived. I explained my dilemma. One of staff went upstairs and re-explained what they needed. How very kind of them. Once again the punctures were quick and painless. I am so grateful for their presence in our neighborhood, the kindness and calm professional demeanor. read more

I don't know anything about this location except that I booked an appt. b/c the Northgate one has turned into something worthy of mean-spirited Trump-style management. My complaint here is that I am unable to cancel the appointment as links to the confirm/cancel website given in the reminder email don't open. Very recently, LabCorp locations that accepted walk-ins who were willing to wait suddenly stopped doing so and insisted on appointments even though locations are booked at least a month out. I needed labs done and found that Quest labs are much easier and friendlier. Still, I tried several times to cancel my appointment at this location but LabCorp won't let me. read more

Truly pathetic. Very difficult to find which is not the fault of the staff. Checkin kiosk was unavailable so was directed to proceed to "the window". There wasn't a window but there was an open door where I was greeted by the most unpleasant, least helpful woman ever. I just left, no way was I going to let her touch me after that exchange. This was the second time I had an appointment at LabCorp on Stone Way only to arrive and find the building locked up with no way in. If you're going to be closed, fine, but then don't let me schedule a 10:15 fasting blood draw! I even double checked the website to make sure they were open (New Year's Eve day) and it said they were open til 12:30. The first time this happened was President's Day last February, but again, I had an appointment so had no reason to expect they would be closed. Super unprofessional. read more

I showed up without an appointment five minutes before opening and I was 5th in line when I got there to check in and I was seen in about 20 minutes. It was so much faster than I anticipated and the technician that did my blood test was so nice. I came here for a routine blood draw, and my experience was pretty mixed. First, check in was a little complicated, the iPad was broken and wouldn't scan anything so all information had to be entered manually. Another patient mentioned something about it to one of the staff who said they've put in service requests and every time they fix it, it breaks again. Maybe a good idea to try a different check in option? That right there would be a good start. Second, wait time was excellent, very fast and there were only a few people in front of me. I would assume if it were busier there would be a longer wait but it seemed to move very quickly! I will say, the whole process was easy and quick other than the tablet. Third, the only other issue I had was a blown vein. I have small veins and typically request a butterfly needle, and as someone who works in healthcare and draws blood from my patients, I would never question a simple request that doesn't impact the sample being requested. The girl who drew my blood at first didn't seem to know what a butterfly needle was?? Maybe she was new but she had to ask another girl working if they even had them (which I said was ok if not, but it's a preference of mine?) the girl who she asked seemed pretty annoyed and then asked me why and if I had issues having my blood drawn. I then explained that I work in healthcare and my job title and as soon as I did the demeanor changed..... I wonder what might happen to a patient who wasn't also a healthcare provider?? It raises some red flags for me on experience of the phlebotomists, or what their job titles were as there were 0 name tags or badges which as someone who works in a hospital felt a little strange, but maybe that's just a me thing. Even with a butterfly needle, the girl who drew my blood blew a vein, which is hard for me to understand. Working in a lab like this, all you do is draw blood all day. Maybe more practice? Although I'm not sure how you could practice more considering it is your job to do it all day. The girl who checked me in was extremely nice and even made me feel better after being questioned and shared her experience having a hard time with blood draws. Overall, TLDR; check in on iPad was a pain, girl who checked me in was so nice, girl who drew my blood was clueless, and whoever the other girl was, was pretty rude and I'm glad I know how to stand my ground in that kind of environment, I can't imagine what it could be like for a patient that couldn't advocate for themselves. read more

In my experience, lab locations are hit or miss. This was a big miss. Showed up at 8:30 am. It was 9:45 before they brought me in for a blood draw. The first person tried to take the sample, then called in a second person. It was a bit painful, but not the worst experience I've had. First draw didn't work, they blamed it on a "bad tube". Second time they blamed it on a bad vein. Switched arms. Started the draw, then they asked for a different tube and threw the first one out. Finally filled two tubes very quickly. I'm not an expert, but that's not how it supposed to go. Never going back to this location. read more

I scheduled for a blood draw at 3:45 PM 1/17, two weeks out because it was the soonest they had available. The day comes, I fast all day, I drive to Wallingford and go to their building and go up to their floor to find out by their neighbor who rolled their eyes while they let me know the lapcorp people went home because the "weather" (it was freaking raining lol) and they never let me know. No call, email, text, anything.... I called and let them know what they did and asked them to make this right and the next available appt for them was again another 2 weeks out and that wasn't really acceptable after being ghosted and THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. This was important blood work and I'm in the process of changing insurance because of a job change. These lazy and unprofessional jokes who can even do a 35K a year job correctly completely f'd me over. I would never trust these clowns to puncture my skin. Just terrible. This company seems incredibly understaffed and unprofessional. The checkin process was with a machine, with no staff in sight. So there was no opportunity to ask questions or find out if your blood test order was even submitted. The atmosphere was really creepy. I waited with others for an hour without seeing any staff or knowing if I was even in the right place. In the end the building manager found out that the staff decided not to show up to work that day. No reason given. Many people had waited weeks for their appointment and had serious health conditions. They were given no notice. Not acceptable in a health care situation. Unfortunately my doctor is at Swedish which uses this company so I have no choice if I want to stay with my doctor. I ended up going to a second location with only one staff member working and waited two hours. It really made me appreciate the Polyclinic where they are extremely professional. read more
