Would highly recommend booking! The only critique I have is that the website could use a bit more information (bring towels! They have boots, snow gear, etc.) although when we called ahead of our reservation we received quick and helpful responses. 12/10 experience!

I did my research of how to rent snowmobiles in Jackson but ended up finding the best of both worlds: a snowmobile tour that went to hot springs! I booked the Granite Hot Springs Tour Half Day. There were two timeslots for the tour, early morning or afternoon. I reserved the afternoon session, which started at noon. For our party of 3, I got 2 snowmobiles: one for a solo rider and the 2nd for tandem riding. I appreciated how clearly their website described of what to bring, including necessities for the hot springs like your own swimsuits and towels. A day prior to the tour, Teton Tour Co. called me to confirm my reservations and also answer any logistical questions I had. They were also able to accommodate a last minute change. My friend was staying at The Village, while my husband and I were staying at a hotel in Jackson. Teton Tour Co. was able to pick us up from both of our hotels. Our guide was Matt, and he was awesome. It was everyone's first time riding a snowmobile, and he thoroughly went over how to safely use it. The tour was such a blast! The way to the springs took about 40 minutes, including a couple of scenic stops along the way where we took pictures. The hot springs felt amazing, and it was an invigorating experience all in itself going in and out of the pool with our swimsuits in below 20 degree weather. On the way back, we hit a cool trail where we got to really rip on the snowmobiles. This was a great way to spend a snow day. I would highly recommend this tour and this tour group.

The staff in the office were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The snowmobiles were in great shape and work flawlessly! Our guide, Roy, did a super job! He gave us clear instructions on how to use the machines and the 'rules of the road.' Along the way he stopped at the interesting/beautiful locations and taught us many interesting facts. He is an outstanding guide! Very entertaining. I would definitely rent from them again. And a special thanks to Kennedy for all his help too!

He was extremely kind,…read morefantastic at communicating with everyone about the challenging segments of the tour, and made sure everyone had a great time. What stood out most to us was how incredibly knowledgeable he was. He taught us about Edgar Howell and the history of the bison population in the park, how to differentiate coyotes from foxes, the Bubbly Paint Pot--how it was formed and became a giant sulfuric acid pond, the remnants of the concrete road, the 1988 fire, the earthquake, and the consequences of those natural events on the park. He also explained how mineralized, super dead trees were formed and, most importantly, how Yellowstone's bio-ecosystem is changing the world, with potential futures for biodiesel and microplastic-consuming organisms! We could tell this guy loves his job so much that he became a nerd--in the best way possible. He made the entire group feel comfortable, was always ready to answer questions, and happily chatted with anyone interested. He's extremely funny; we couldn't help laughing out loud at his hilarious and brilliant safety instructions. We definitely had a blast on this snowmobile tour, and it was 110% worth every penny because Ben was our guide!!! Book Yellowstone Vacation Tours ASAP, especially with Ben if you can. To the Yellowstone Vacation Tour big boss: please don't ever let Ben go, because we WILL be back and will ask for him. Also, give him a raise--because if you haven't, I mean, what are you even doing?! ‍

You'll travel south from Jackson to the Hoback Junction, traffic circle 3/4 turn. Take US 191 12 miles until you reach gravel/dirt Granite Creek Road taking a left. Do not go by the Yelp address listed as it's incorrect, and I haven't been able to find the specific address. Be prepared for an 11 mile bumpy ride while viewing gorgeous Granite Creek running through the Gros Ventura Mountains in the Bridger Teton National Forest. At the end of the road Granite Springs pool awaits you. Check for current pricing before you go, only open in summer (by car) and winter (by snowmobile, skis or dog sled). Also, important to note, you'll have no cell service within this area. Soak your cares away while enjoying the gorgeous Mountain View and the evergreen forest.

Small cars would not be recommended because there are tons large holes. The drive continue on the road and you will dead end into this destination. Walking up to the springs. Looks like a something out of a bad movie. Or the movie Vacation. Kinda scary or weird. Run down with shacks and satellite dishes. Once inside. There is no food or drinks allowed. So don't try it or you will get yelled at. The cost is for 1 hour. So plan on being booted after your hour. There are no towels or enough chairs. So be prepared to sit on the ground. The pool is cracked and run down. But once inside the water it is quite enjoyable. Our family had fun and it was a good experience. I would recommend based on the fact it was a fun time to get to swim in a natural environment. Overlook the pool cracks and moss growing it was worth the drive.
