The only critique I have is that the website could use a bit more information (bring towels! My husband and I were in Jackson, WY for our friend's birthday, who mentioned to us about snowmobiling one day... and maybe doing hot springs another day. I did my research of how to rent snowmobiles in Jackson but ended up finding the best of both worlds: a snowmobile tour that went to hot springs! I booked the Granite Hot Springs Tour Half Day. There were two timeslots for the tour, early morning or afternoon. I reserved the afternoon session, which started at noon. For our party of 3, I got 2 snowmobiles: one for a solo rider and the 2nd for tandem riding. I appreciated how clearly their website described of what to bring, including necessities for the hot springs like your own swimsuits and towels. A day prior to the tour, Teton Tour Co. called me to confirm my reservations and also answer any logistical questions I had. They were also able to accommodate a last minute change. My friend was staying at The Village, while my husband and I were staying at a hotel in Jackson. Teton Tour Co. was able to pick us up from both of our hotels. Our guide was Matt, and he was awesome. It was everyone's first time riding a snowmobile, and he thoroughly went over how to safely use it. The tour was such a blast! The way to the springs took about 40 minutes, including a couple of scenic stops along the way where we took pictures. The hot springs felt amazing, and it was an invigorating experience all in itself going in and out of the pool with our swimsuits in below 20 degree weather. On the way back, we hit a cool trail where we got to really rip on the snowmobiles. This was a great way to spend a snow day. I would highly recommend this tour and this tour group. read more

We did have a great time and the guide was nice. However, we were a little confused at the time since we paid for a full day. When the company called me the night before to schedule our pickup time, she told me pick up was at 9am and we would be back at about 6pm. We got to our snowmobiles to start the tour at 10am and then we were done and back at the bus to go back home at 1:45. The website says a full day is 6-7 hours. My booking says from 8am to 5pm but yet we only got 3 hours and 45 minutes of tour time. read more

SCAMMERS! DO NOT USE! Our tour guide was great, but due to recent snowfall we could not go on the full day tour. Not a problem, as both the manager and the tour guide said they would refund half the tours cost (we prepaid several days in advance). Fast forward to the day of the tour... same thing, we'll do a half day tour and we'll refund half the trip cost. We just need the manager to come in and process the refund. All of a sudden, after we had the half day tour, they can only refund the difference in tour costs. Had we known this, we would have cancelled for a full refund. It's impossible to get a call back from the manager and it seems they are screening at least some of our group's calls and don't even answer the phone. BE AWARE!! STOP!! DO NOT USE!!!! My wife and son decided to surprise me for my 40th birthday with a trip to Jackson to go snowmobiling. My wife booked this experience on October 26th 2024 for December 1st 2024. She called multiple times to verify the information and confirm the reservation. When she called the reservation number she was told that the business would be open and if per chance there was not enough snow to do the tour they would let us know the day before and issue us a refund. We arrived on the morning of the 1st to the location at the time that was assigned to us to find no one was even there. After waiting for 25 minutes we confronted the other vehicle in the parking lot to see if they knew anything. These people had booked a trip for the same morning and were told to be there at 6 am, it was by that point 8:20 am and they had not heard or seen anyone. At that point another vehicle had pulled into the parking lot. After speaking with them, they informed us that they had a reservation for the same trip that we had. We called and called with no answer from anyone. Luckily, a girl by the name of Megan (who was the only person to help us) walked through the parking lot and stopped to help us. She told us that she was new and was there to get certified so she could guide the tours. She then called a district manager by the name of Steve which we all spoke with about this. He told us that these should have never been booked as they do not open till Dec 15th at the earliest. He and Ryan Castana (at least I think that was how you spell his last name...and I believe he's another district manager) would be there on the following day (Monday) to talk with all of us and handle this. We showed up on Monday at 9 am (like we were told to) and none of the managers were there. There were 4 people in the office, and all of them confirmed that they worked for Teton Tour Company and were there for training. even if there was enough snow, they wouldn't be able to guide the tour as they needed more training. So we left. Monday afternoon we received a Reservation Cancelation saying our tour was canceled...the day after it was supposed to happen. Today, Dec 5th I finally was able to get ahold of someone at Teton, and the "Manager" girl told me that it wasn't their fault and that there wasn't enough snow, so of course, we couldn't do the tour. She went ahead and lied to me, saying that they would have done the tour if there was enough snow. I asked her why every other employee told us, including the district manager, that the reservation should have never been booked and her response was "They don't work for Teton and they are lying to me". It's interesting that 6 people said the same thing and then this lady is calling them a liar. We spent a lot of money to go on this trip if we knew they weren't even open we would have not gone. The purpose of this trip was for this tour only! So now I am trying to get my money back but when I call they hang up on me. I've even called from another number and when I start speaking they hang up on me. DO NOT use this company. They lie, they do not take ownership for anything then they are not even willing to refund my money let alone a voucher for a future trip. The company that owns Teton Tour is Aramark and they own a lot of the snowmobile tour companies in America. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. ZERO ETHICS. read more

Good news/bad news. The good news - the destination is amazing! The trip out and back are beautiful and the hot springs are magical. The bad news - our trip had to "clean up" after an earlier trip, an earlier group left a broken down machine on the trail and just left it there for us to tow back. We spent at least 1/4 of our trip towing a machine and never got above 10 mph. I tried to request a partial refund (we paid over $600 for this trip) and was told NO. Asked the general manager to call me back and I'm still waiting. Overall - great destination, terrible customer service. read more

We booked a full day tour, that morning they called to say it snowed a lot and the full day location wasn't accessible. They offered us a refund or 50% refund and a half day tour. At the end of the half day the manager tried to give less of a refund. I informed her of what I was told that morning and she checked with the employee from the morning and then agreed to honor the 50%. Later that day I got a call saying the general manager would not be honoring that agreement. Grade A experience. We did the Brooks Lake full day tour. Snowmobile Gear: Right sizes and in great condition - really worked well for our entire family. Helmet masks probably could be replaced or cleaned. Snowmobiles: No issues at all - everything worked well and was in fine condition. Handle bar warmers were critically important and did the job. Transportation: Pick up and drop off at the hotel was great. Comfortable ride. Trails: Awesome! Over 600 miles of trails (at least that's what they say) - they went on forever and so scenic and a blast to ride. Lunch: Brooks Lodge is a really cool place and well maintained. Lunch was very good and it was a relaxing break. Guide: Jeff was fantastic! He really made the trip. Low key and continually providing us with insights, tips and helpful guidance the entire day including all the transit time. He even made a stop for us to get some medicine for our daughter who wasn't feeling good....and even asked if we wanted to stop and take pictures of the Tetons on our way back. Our family traveled to Jackson Hole, WY in April 2019 and booked a private snowmobiling tour for 4 people with Togwotee Snowmobile Adventures. Our tour guide was awesome! We chose the Granite Hot Springs half-day tour because it was a 1/2 day tour and perfect for our family, including our 12 year old son. The Granite Hot Springs stop was a great experience. It's was incredible to be surrounded by beautiful snow-filled mountains while relaxing in the warm (some areas hot) natural springs water. The waterfalls were astoundingly picturesque. We were not rushed at all and truly enjoyed every minute of this tour. Again, our tour guide was top-notch! Highly recommend and we will be back! read more

We had an awesome time on the continental divide and wildlife snowmobile tours. They were very professional. Picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. They provide everything you need for snowmobiling so no need to pack a helmet, jacket, bibs, or boots. They asked for us to provide our own gloves due to COVID. You'll only need some good base layers and maybe a fleece to wear under the outerwear they provide. We saw some amazing view of the mountains and a lot of the local wildlife. We took the Togwotte Pass tour with Matt and it was one of the most amazing things we have ever experienced! The clothing and gear provided kept us plenty warm. Matt was super friendly and very knowledgeable throughout the entire trip. The snowmobiling was a blast and we were on them for 2-3 hours, which was just about perfect. We took the 90 mile snowmobile tour in to Old Faithful and had a great time. Our guide was Ryan and he was awesome. All six of us in our group are over 55 years old and we all had a great time. Started off with rain but as we went into the park it turned to snow which made it much more pretty. After a couple hours it stopped snowing and we had pretty decent 30° weather. We saw over 100 Buffalo and also got to see the old faithful eruption. Ryan picked us up at our doorstep at 6:15 in the morning and He drove us to the starting point at the south entrance of Yellowstone. We then had a nice breakfast and suited up in the gear to go out on the trip. The food was very good for both breakfast and lunch as we had a hot meal near old faithful. Took the Continental Divide Tour with my wife, sister and brother-in-law who are all in our sixties. Another couple riding tandem was also in their sixties. Our guide was Dennis who is 24 years old and rides everyday. We had never been on snowmobiles before. You are given a 3 minute orientation and then are told to hop on and let's go. From the start it was pedal to the metal the whole tour. Did not have a feeling out process in the beginning. Never had time to enjoy the scenery on the trail as you are trying to keep up with rider in front of you. On the way back we took a "shortcut" through a heavily forested area and haul ass through that. It would have been nice to have cruised through there and enjoy the scenery. What a great adventure! We had a best time in the Continental Divide with Togwotee on our snowmobile trip. Everything from the very start was top notch. They picked us up at our hotel right on time and stopped several times on the way so we could get cool pics of the animals hanging out on the side of the road. The whole process was seamless. Their equipment including all gear, clothing and equipment was the best of the best. I mean the snowmobiles even have hand warmers built into the handles and throttle. I wasn't cold the least bit and it was snowing the whole time we were out - at some points quite heavily! Wes, our tour guide was terrific and took us all around the best trails and let us go at our own pace which was super fun. He is very experienced and kept us safe. Even the lunch that was included in our trip was great as we got to order off the menu. Couldn't have been a better experience. We loved every minute of it! read more

We recently did this trip, it was a half day tour to Granite Hot Springs, We had two kids along with us(8 yr old and 5 yr old). Our tour Guide was Kent and he was amazing, the gears they provided were super warm(snow suit, boots and gloves and helmets). Our tour guide was extremely patient and gave us perfect instructions and the tour was amazing, the view and scenary you pass by is mind blowing! Granite Sprints is around 10 miles one way ride on snow mobiles, the hot water spring was amazing! Extra shout out to Kent for taking my lil 5 year old as a rider on his snowmobile as she was scared as hell to ride with us!!! My little one sat through the whole tour driving both ways with kent and thoroughly enjoyed the tour as well....We highly higly recommend this company for tour. This was our 2nd trip in 2 yrs with Togwotee on Christmas Day to old faithful. The staff is very pleasant and nice to be with. We had a large group of 9 sleds and one family was very slow to finishing breakfast, lunch, and keeping up with our guide which put us in getting late to old faithful and back to the bus for the ride back. We stopped only a few times to warm up and enjoy the majestic beauty of Yellowstone Park. The trip might have been better if expectations and time lines were established prior to heading out to the trail. The trip is a total of 90 miles on the sled. If you enjoy the outdoors, majestic beauty of Yellowstone, history, and the excitement of sledding, then this is the trip and group that you will want to guide you. What a great way to spend Christmas Eve - half day Granite Hot Springs tour. Jay, our guide, was awesome. Words cannot express how grateful we were to have such a fantastic person (yes, person - Jay was more than just a guide) Pickup - front door of the Bentwood Inn and early Gear - correct sizes and in great condition (actually cut the tags off my suit) Ride to our depart site - comfortable and Jay stopped at the last grocery for supplies and a potty facility that flushes.
