Your training for these two men must have been intensely through. These two men had great communication skills. What I wonder the most about is, how do you train people to care NOTHING about the people they are supposed to be serving. How do you teach them to attempt non-experienced people to believe that the roof above their heads is in horrendous shape and MUST be replaced because it is OUT OF CODE and would not pass inspection? I was so very impressed with the ease at which the two men, David and Gilberto, were so at ease with thier story and their lies. I'm very sorry that the company is no longer just a family owned buisness belonging to a local, well-known family and they are actually a huge corporation from out of state, Oregon, who bought up the family buisness and kept the name. Your estimate of $82,000.00 for a job that is going to be finished by a reputable local company for $30,000.00 is a sign that La Bella is a typical sociopathic run business out for the almighty buck, caring nothing about the people you are scamming. LaBelle roofing fixed our roof leak and ice dam problem. We've tried a bunch of other roofers without good results. In contrast, LaBelle took the time to thoroughly examine our roofing situation, come up with a few options, explained the pro/con on each, and did a great job executing on the option we selected. I think the roofing industry is filled with plenty of people who are happy to charge a lot of money to just slap on some new tiles. I found them through an add, I setup an appointment to come give us an estimate! They didn't show up! They called me 4 days later to reschedule! They were late when they did finally show! When they got started they got shut down by the town for not having a permit! It was Friday my roof was exposed for 4 days! So they start again on Tues and get shut down a 2nd time for not using a harness! I was also picking up nails for weeks after! 2 Months after they were done I had issues with some of the work and called them to come and fix it they scheduled times to come and never showed! They did a complete new roof in summer of 2016, removing the old one. I give them 2 thumbs up. Very fine office staff, kind and responsive.

We need to install 2 skylights and called them based on Velux recommendation on the website. Since we bought the skylights ourselves instead of purchasing from them, the guy we spoke to gave us a quote of $3000 per skylight installation. We called someone else and was given a price of $550 each. What a rip off. read more

The Best Company In this USA I have never encountered a company that is this good at what they do and how they treat their customers as Labelle Roofing,Wayland,MA. From the most amazing, efficient and dedicated Diane in the office, to Dave, the owner to the terrific roofers, I cannot even begin to say how impressed I am. With this Boston weather, my builder called them and they were out same day fixing ice dams on my room. The next week they came out upon request and de snowed the entire roof and took of all the ice dams that were still there and shoveled the 12 feet of snow away from the entry. I am still amazed at this service. The owners and staff are the nicest people I have met in probably 20 years. I do not get impressed at all by any company so this review means this company is beyond belief....in the best possible way. I wish I had more jobs to give them. I will spread the word and hope that this review will bring them the best of luck and fortune because they deserve every penny they charge and they deserve the award of the century in business ethic. I had Mark come out to quote the job. He was very knowledgeable and explained things well. Labelle's pricing was solid not too cheap or too expensive. Labelle came in a few Thousand cheaper than another roofer. They provide a handy list of everything to be done. They pulled permits and got the dumpster delivered. The job involved removing the old chimney, removing old shingles/underlayment, flashing around two skylights, several vents, adding ridge vent, underlayment ice and water shield and shingling main roof, rear porch, front bump outs and garage. The crew banged out a 12 hour day. The whole team was quick to respond on scheduling and details. We are very happy with the work and look of the new roof. Labelle did our roof a couple years ago and did a great job. They were great for scheduling, explaining what needed to be done, giving clear options at different and fair price points, and getting the job done quickly. They did ours while there was a significant amount of snow on the ground so it was a little tougher of a job and we did find some nails and debris after the snow melted but I understand that it's a lot harder to sweep for nails when they can easily get pushed down into the snow. I had these folks out to give me a roof quote. I have taught hard sell techniques years ago so when these two guys from Labelle started their pressure sell, back and forth I told them not to do it. They didn't take the hint. Again I told them not to pressure me, they didn't listen. The little guy was attempting to set me up with a price on my eleven hundred sq. foot home. A price that was a rip off. $29000,00. You see I already had prices from ten thousand to thirteen thousand dollars for the very same thing. I told the little guy that he was so far off base that we were done. I asked him to leave. He didn't and didn't stop selling. He then said he could bring the price way down, maybe thirteen thousand dollars. Then I told him I want him gone. Because that was an admission that he was high balling me. I tried to escort him to the door. He didn't want to go. At the door I told him that I wanted him to leave now. I opened the door and he went out. He went to his car and came back at me and said he had to show me something. I said we are done. He said I think you should know that I put a hole in your front room ceiling. He said yes the dry wall was real thin there. I said, why were you pushing a screw driver on my ceiling and when were you going to tell me. After you closed the sale? Well I now have about a two inch hole in the ceiling with the dry wall sticking out. The pushing holes in dry wall and siding is an old tin man trick that my dad told me about fifty years ago. Well I finally got this guy to leave and I called the company. The Manager offered me a twenty five dollar gift card for my trouble. I told him no. I was not calling to get a prize. I was calling to tell him that I live in a fifty five and older community and although the high pressure dishonest tactic didn't work on me. There are seventy, eighty and ninety year old people who would fold under the pressure and I didn't want them in our community where I am president of the association . The Manager was friendly and patronizing. I told him, I wanted him to get back to me and tell me how he handled his hard sell sales people. He hasn't called back. read more
