On top of it, you have to end up paying a little under $400 out-of-pocket for the rental because of his lies And on top of it is somehow ALWAYS on vacation never returns your calls, and no one else at his office can help you while he's on vacation. Eugene Ramos is your guy. How he has an office of his own is beyond me because he can't even delegate authority to anybody else in the office to get things accomplished, while he is on his vacations.

What happened was that I had my credit card stolen so I called his office just like all the services that I use my card with and gave his assistant "Mia" my new card number to continue my service with him and his office for automatic payments. Three months go by and I get a certified letter in the mail from the DMV that I don't have insurance? I call him up to find out what happened? He starts by telling me that I'm in a lot of trouble and that I will have to pay thousands of dollars for each car. I asked him what happened to the new card I gave his assistant to process payments? He did admit that they have the new card but "I" never authorized them to continue payments! Really? So I just called them up to give them my new credit card and I asked if there was more that I could do and she said no..... so here we are. No insurance for me without knowing? So if I wasn't making payments and they received new information on a credit card wouldn't they want to call me up and find out what happened? Like ask questions "are you unhappy with your service "? "Did you go through a new insurance?" "I would hate to lose your business! Is there anything we can do to make your experience a more better one"? Yeah, none of the those! I was actually willingly wanted to stay with State Farm but no he kept hanging up on me. He claims that we get "disconnected" yeah, sure! So I went into another office of state farm and they could care less about my situation and told me that I needed to resolve the situation through Eugene! How, when he doesn't want anything to do with me! They said they couldn't do a trace back to keep me insured. Ok, so I went to free way insurance and they did do a trace back. So if one insurance company can do a trace back then any insurance company can do it. State Farm agents just don't want to do it. Congratulations Eugene in being foolish in all your experience in being an agent for so many years. I'm looking at all the other reviews on here and they are spot on with my experience with you! And, for the ones that you are giving you props and good reviews. You can tell that these people were paid to do a nice review. I'll be filing a complaint through State Farm corporate and to the DOI. Eat it Eugene

Was told to drop vehicle off at body shop, body shop did estimate that day (Monday) and submitted to Progressive's portal. Was asked for photos - submitted. Called claim reps repeatedly- one on vacation, one has full voice mail. No approval to body shop for work Escalated to claim supervisor - on vacation. Transferred to Resolution Specialist - he spoke so quickly he was almost unintelligible, said needed estimate, and transferred me to body shop without ever listening to anything I tried to say. Called back and was transferred to Claims Manager - got voice mail. Have left numerous messages, called numerous times over four days and have gotten zero response from anyone with any authority as to status of claim approval. Note that this is for a claim of less than $1000 once my deductible is applied. God help me if it was a serious claim. Apparently Progressive let's personnel hide behind voice mail, doesn't coordinate vacation coverage, finally got a call back around noon on Friday - estimate process was finally explained and was told vehicle should have remained available while they worked through their process - given the stock low staffing, unexpected heavy workload excuse that has become a stock response to customer complaints. All in all a five day (so far) ball drop that was easily avoidable Friday Afternoon the Progressive estimator called to say that they had received and reviewed the estimate and had called to authorize repairs - so moved up from one to three stars - still a convoluted process that's in sufficiently staffed but at least it's now moving forward

My Progressive policy was canceled after a required underwriting verification was not clearly communicated, resulting in a 24-hour lapse, higher insurance costs, and no opportunity to reinstate coverage; the underwriting representative told me this is not uncommon and has happened to other customers, while the sales representative I spoke with was unaware that this verification process could occur and lead to cancellation.
