While I normally shop their Short Hills store I visit this Shore Outlet when I'm driving by. They often have sales where you can save big, as I did today when the long sleeve polos I wanted were 1/2 price! The staff here is always helpful, cheerfully checking understock for more color choices in sizes I want. Lacoste bilks its customers under the cloak of "loss prevention." Lacoste's refund and exchange policy requires the collection and storage of a customer's ID information, even in the presence of a receipt. A customer only learns of this policy after the fact - from the receipt after paying, when not going through with the purchase is no longer a choice. On Friday, May 3, 2019, we came to exchange a cardigan. We did not care to have our personal info entered into Lacoste's database and were trying to reason with the store supervisor, Agi Heguesi of the Jersey Shore Outlets location. What loss could there be if a garment was exchanged? She made statements that made little sense: if she would exchange without entering our name, DOB, address, and other info from our ID, then it would "appear as stealing"; she kept suggesting that we go to "Target or Wal-Mart" while the item we were trying to exchange was purchased from Lacoste. She was incredibly unpleasant, smug, and spoke with a mocking demeanor. We walked away utmost disappointed over the experience and loss of time and money. Also, it took some time for the store to reopen - the sign on the door said "will be back in a few minutes," yet we had enough time to go through five other stores, awaiting. read more

Lacoste sucks!!!! I bought a sweater for my fiancé from an outlet. While buying I asked what their return policy was and they said "within 30 days" which is also clearly stated on the receipt. We took the tag off and then he tried on the shirt. We realized it doesn't fit him well so I went back to return it. I was told that it could not be returned because it's been worn already. I asked to at least exchange or even get store credit since the sweater is useless to us now. I was told it was their store policy that they do not accept items after the tag has been removed. INSANE! ABSOLUTELY INSANE! Who does that?!? I went with the tag and the receipt 2 weeks later!!!!! We had to call customer service and were told to send a picture of the receipt and shirt so they can help us...lets see what happens. Regardless, I will never shop at Lacoste ever again and will discourage others from doing so. read more
