I booked for a mani/pedi, but prior to my appointment changed my mind to just a pedi. I called in and made the change with no issue. The salon has great ambiance and is very bright (well lit with natural light coming in). My tech was very nice and explained the various pedis to me. I was only soaking my left foot for maybe 2 minutes and she started in on manicuring it. I think it should have soaked for a couple more minutes. As she worked on my toes, there were several other customers in chairs and the techs were very giggly, talking very loud, sharing stories that most customers wouldn't care to hear (trips, boyfriends, drinking...etc). I had more conversation with the woman sitting next to me than I did with my tech. I just found the chatting to be loud and obnoxious. I'm not sure if that is the typical atmosphere there, but if it is, it is enough to make me not want to return. The final look was okay. I wasn't over the moon about it...but it could have been my choice in color + sparkles. Although I booked online about 2 weeks prior, I had forgotten who I booked with and if it wasn't for someone else saying her name, I would have never known who she was because she didn't introduce herself. I'm not convinced I will return yet. It is still up in the air.

She is friendly, easy to talk to, and just real. Sometimes the women I've seen at other salons can be a bit fake or flaky, but not Ashley. She also knows her stuff. Over the years she has taught me a lot about skincare. At each visit she takes her time to do it right - carefully waxing, tweezing, and everything else. Some staff at other places I've visited can be lazy or careless, but never Ashley. Also her prices are AMAZINGLY LOW.
