I have been going to this nail salon for many years! An appointment is required, so don't try to walk in without one. You can reserve an appointment through the Fresha App or by calling the business directly. Upon walking in, the ambiance is casual and friendly. It is also very clean. I have never had a bad experience and I've had my nails done by every nail technician over the years. I get dip manicures and gel pedicures, as I love not having to worry about my nails smudging and these services last much longer than regular polish manicures and pedicures. After being a loyal customer of Forever Nails for nearly two years, I'm disappointed to say that I will no longer be returning. I have typically seen Kevin, who consistently does an excellent job. Recently, I switched to Lilly due to scheduling convenience. She works quickly and the quality of her nail work has generally been good. Unfortunately, the customer service experience has become increasingly uncomfortable. Over my last several visits, I noticed that Lilly rarely greeted me, made eye contact, or acknowledged me during my appointments, while appearing much more welcoming and friendly with other customers. At first, I assumed I was being overly sensitive, but my most recent visit confirmed that something felt off. During the appointment, I had a cut on one of my fingers. Lilly repeatedly squeezed that finger while working, causing significant discomfort. When my hand would naturally tense up from the pain, she became visibly irritated and repeatedly told me to relax my hand, even after I explained that the pressure on the cut was hurting. She also nicked me with the drill while buffing my nails. While accidents can happen, there was no acknowledgment or apology. Additionally, although I arrived on time for my appointment, I was started several minutes late. That normally wouldn't bother me. What did concern me was that with only a short amount of time left in my service, Lilly stopped working on my nails to begin another customer's removal process before returning to finish mine. I was left waiting without any explanation, apology, or acknowledgment. I've never written a negative public review before, but after this experience, I felt it was important to share. Quality nail work is only part of the experience...customer service, professionalism, and respect matter too. I had an appointment with Kim. She filed my nails down so roughly that they were bleeding. The fills were done uneven and i now have completely misshaped nails that are far longer than I asked for. When I called in to ask for an appointment to get them fixed, I was told I needed to pay (even though I called in less than a week). Would not recommend going. I was treated poorly by all staff I encountered and it made this an awful experience. Now I am 70 dollars out with awful nails I have to pay to fix. read more

I have been to this nail salon many times over the years. While this nail salon has always impressed me with its dedication to cleanliness, the owners have taken every precaution imaginable in reopening amidst the Covid-19 concerns. I was there yesterday after snagging one of very few available openings for a mani-pedi. Masks are required and social distancing is taken very seriously. In addition, there are plexiglass partitions between customers and technicians, partitions between customers- though customers are not even sitting anywhere close to each other. I felt that this business has taken the health of all into concern and very much appreciated their extreme efforts to protect safety to the extent possible. Got a full set and a pedicure, acrylics started lifting after 1 week and it already looks like I need a balance. The pedicure was just okay, the guy who was doing it was looking at the tv when filing my feet which made me VERY nervous. I could barely walk afterwards because my feet hurt so bad. For the price I paid to get a full set with gel and a pedicure with regular polish, it was not worth it. I also think they overcharged me, it was suppose to be around 65 and they charged me 90. I didn't want to correct them or ask why because quite frankly I wanted to leave. Very clean salon. The service here was fast, even on a busy week day. I got a fill in my acrylic nails with gel color and also got my eyebrows waxed. I was very pleased with the attention to detail shown at every stage of the process. I keep my nails short, and my nail tech was able to make my nails look beautiful while keeping them as short as I need for work. The young woman who waxed my eyebrows followed my instructions carefully and did not make them too thin. I will be returning to this salon in the future. Probably one of the worst shellac manicures I have ever gotten. I had one person prep my nails and another person paint them. Who do you tip? And why switch when they weren't even busy? The lady who prepped my nails kept giving me dirty looks when I asked to see the two different polish bottles so I could compare the color. What? That's normal... she didn't push my cuticles down nor file them evenly. I got a manicure and didn't even get lotion on my hands after. It's winter, my hands are super dry but nope, no lotion. That's one of the main parts of a manicure. Come on! Also no cuticle oil, so now (not even a week later), I have a hang nail on almost every finger. Exactly 5 days later, the polish is starting to peel up and look horrible. Try another place, I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Showed up at 6:00, got seated at 6:05 with semi cold water. No one actually got to me till 625-30. No one has told me a price. I hope I don't pay too much for this type of customer service. All the employees seemed interested in the tv more than the customers in front of them. I changed my mind with not adding a sparkle on top of my big toe, yet the clear coat over my toes didn't cover the whole nail and had air bubbles. They were concerned only with the people waiting also for 30 min to get a pedicure. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They were very rude to my friend and I. We had an appointment at 1 and they didn't take us till 1:15, normally I wouldn't be mad about 15 minutes but another lady walked in after us with an appointment at 1:30 and they took her before us. I called the day before and asked about their pricing for a specific nail art design and length and they told me $40. When I got there they said the same thing, $40, after I showed them a picture of exactly what I wanted. During the nail process the woman doing my nails was extremely rough and wasn't paying attention and put the electric sander right on top of my hand while it was still moving! She sanded on my skin around my nails to the point it was raw and almost bleeding. One of my nails is crooked and I told the technician and she said it wasn't and ignored my request to fix it. The flame design on two of my fingers looks off, kind of like a pi symbol, again the technician I had ignored my request to fix it. When they finished my nails I was like okay so $40 like you said earlier, and she said no my work is $60...like no no no you told me something completely different 2 times and this is not a $60 nail job I'd expect a better experience for $60! I only had $48 on me and I only carry cash so I had to call my boyfriend to bring me $20 and I DID NOT NEED TO DO THAT I SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH THESE FOR $60! Never going to this salon again, I DO NOT suggest wasting your money here. read more

This place was not my favorite at all, for a couple of reasons: 1) I thought it was way overpriced. I just got a pedicure, and it ended up being $48 with a tip 2)The service was subpar. The nail tech was nice to me, but they were really hung up on 'what level of pedicure' I wanted, and they forgot to provide a customer the bubbles for their pedicure so they were just soaking their feet in lukewarm water. 3) the expertise of the nail tech was average. My toes look great, but until the tech went and edited/brushed up my toes, they looked comparable to something that I could have just done myself 4) the place wasn't very clean, and at one point, someone warmed something up in the microwave and it smelled terribly. The overall vibe/environment wasn't very comforting. I probably wouldn't have gone to this place if it hadn't been recommended to me by close friends, that I ended up going with today. I had 4 pm spa pedicure appointment time and even though all of the techs were currently busy, I was acknowledged immediately and was given a station with warm, soapy water. I sat for maybe 10 minutes but was checked on by various techs to make sure I was okay, while they finished up with other clients, but soon had someone take care of me. I had Vivian as my nail tech and she was amazing. She was extremely helpful, cheerful, and made sure that I was very well taken care of. The service I received was better than some salons were I would've paid double, yes $40 here is extremely reasonable for the great care I was given, and I was definitely made a repeat customer after today. I went here to check it out based on reviews. Wish I had as good of an expericnce as others. I had a balance done and was not pleased. As he was painting my nails I noticed they looked lumpy.I also noticed the polish I had chosen seemed to be rather thick. I thought maybe the polish just needed to try. He walks away and the more the polish dries the worse it looks. I sat for 10 min. waiting for him to come back ( he did 30 mins later after running to McDonalds). Another worker came over and said it would be a few more mins. for someone to do my nail art. I brought the issue to his attention and he was nice enough to take me right away and fix the problem. The first person never buffed the nails down after the balance and should have thinned out the polish. I was there for 2 hours and wasn't even given a discount for the mistake. read more

Cannot say enough good about the people who own and work at this salon! My mom-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed our super deluxe pedicures. I had called for an appointment but had to change it twice, and even then, they were very kind. My mom hadn't had a pedicure in a LONG time, and she is 81 with special needs - she has cancer and 5 crushed vertebrae. They could not have been more kind and gentle. If I told you how bad my first experience it would sound impossible but, here goes, I was ushered to the back by a young child probably about 10 at most. She filled the tub and I stuck my feet in and was nearly scalded. A guy finally came back to start this nightmare and the first thing I realized was he was more interested in watching the nightly news. The process was very painful when he used an instrument around the nail beds. Never had that used on me before, ever!! Next he used a buffer on the sole and heal of my foot that was tolerable and then he attacked my arch with it the pain was terrible and soon he discovered he cut my foot!! Out comes the first aid kid hand delivered by the 10 yr old. Neosporine and bandage applied!! I felt stuck and wanted this to be over badly!! He finally painted my toes nails and I was ready to go. They were "gracious" in reducing the bill by $5!! The child once again was there to lend a hand and took my credit card?? I was not offered to sit and dry my toes which I wasn't planning on doing anyway,, I had already been there a very long tough 75 mins!! But, the craziest part of all was I got home and realized my nails had not even been trimmed!!! This place was highly recommended even though I was happy at my go to salon I was intrigued by how great this place was. Perhaps I was punked??? Could all this really have happened? I asked for a full set of artificial gel nails. Since I am not a nail technician I thought that was what I was getting. He used powder for the nail, then added a gel top coat, and then polish. I thought that it was right. Went to a different nail spa and found out it was acrylic with a gel clear polish on top of the acrylic!!! I was charged more for the gel nails that weren't even gel!! I went to Forever Nails and Spa on April 21, 2018 and it was the worst experience. I had a male technician do a french gel manicure/polish and during the appointment he must have had a cut on his hand and got his blood on my hand. Alcohol was used to get his blood off my skin and I later washed my hands, but I was very nervous being exposed to blood borne pathogens or possible infectious diseases. He did not apologize or try to relieve my anxiety in any way about the situation. After my appointment was completed, I asked who the owner/manager of the business was. I wanted to explain the situation to the owner. The nail technician then starting yelling at me and stating, "How do I know you don't have any diseases?" in front of all the customers and other nail technicians in the salon. He got his blood on me and was asking me about diseases? It was very unprofessional and I could not believe that he was getting mad at me for getting his blood on my skin! One of the employees gave me the owners name and contact information. After hte appointment, I called the owner and it does not accept incoming phone calls. I have contacted the Monroe County Health Department and LARA notifying them about this incident. It is very concerning that unprofessional and rude to treat customers this way. If a nail technician has broken skin or cuts and are not wearing gloves that is a health and safety risk to customers. Health, safety and customer service are not top priorities at this nail salon. read more
