Ladies and Gentlemen is a speakeasy-style bar located inside the Indiana Colony Market in old town Pasadena. To get here, walk through the building past Wanderlust Creamery and head downstairs. You'll come across a bunch of restrooms but little do you know, one of the restroom doors is actually the entrance to the bar. We called to make a reservation for our large party of 11 but for smaller parties you can make resrvations online at Resy. Once you walk in you'll come across a vintage and modern decor. It has leather-like seats, golden skulls everywhere, celebrity portraits all over the walls, and provocative art pieces. The sand and time ($24) came in a teapot and got more herbaceous the longer the drink steeped. It was good, balanced, and I preferred it when it steeped longer. The old and fashioned ($24) was strong and spirit-forward. The a gentleman and a scholar ($24) came in a beaker and had spice notes from the cinnamon and clove. The cocktails were theatrical and creative in their presentation. For food we had the Japanese milk bread ($10), the new crispy rice ($18), the hot honey pizza ($22), and the caviar parfait ($48) which were all delicious. The milk bread was fresh and came with a sweet and a savory butter and I preferred the latter. Of the food we ordered the crispy rice was my favorite. Overall the bar had cool vibes and great service. You'll definitely pay a pretty penny for the drinks here. It was great with a large party to try the different drinks and ooh-and-ahh when they all come out in their own unique presentations.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening out to Ladies and Gentlemen in downtown Pasadena. The ambience is definitely 5/5 with the dim lighting, black and gold motif, and excellent hospitality. Our server was definitely an enthusiast for the food and drink offerings on the menu. I wish I could hear her better over the EDM music playing but I got the gist of it. We were offered three types of water to start with: filtered, bottled, or sparkling. We opted for filtered, which arrived chilled and with a choice of lemon, orange or lime slice, which was a lovely touch. We ordered the Afghani flat bread to start with--it was pretty bland but was a good palate cleanser between cocktails. In contrast, the new crispy rice was super flavorful and had a really enjoyable combination of textures between the rice and the smoked salmon on top. My two drink choices were the Life and Death, followed by the Born and Raised. My husband's were A Gentleman and A Scholar, followed by Angels and Demons. The cocktails here are fun in terms of catchy names and creative presentation. 4/5. Overall I enjoyed the experience and it's a great place to come for a date night.

Annoyed because they forgot I had a reservation booked... Also annoyed because the waiter suggested me what ended up being the worst cocktail that we all got which was the berries and flowers. Beauty and the beast was by far the best tasting one. Movies and popcorn was good. Ma and la was good. Coffee and biscuits was a bit stronger than I would've liked. Overall would go back, but I guess just earlier in the night.

Finding Ladies and Gentlemen is intentionally part of the night. Entry starts through the Wanderlust / Pie Hole mini mall. If Wanderlust Creamery is still open, staff can open the door for you; otherwise, you'll need to loop around and enter from the back. From there, you take the elevator down to the basement level, which signals you're heading somewhere off-menu. IDs are checked before you go in, and you're given the chance to use the restroom beforehand -- a detail that makes sense once you see how the space unfolds. A concealed door leads into a dimly lit bathroom, and pressing a flush button reveals the actual bar hidden behind it. It's clever and theatrical without crossing into cheesy. Inside, the space leans dark, moody, and curated, with a strong emphasis on atmosphere. The cocktail program is thoughtful and well-executed -- drinks are creative, balanced, and clearly designed with intention. Cocktails run around $24, with mocktails closer to $20, which is undeniably expensive, but the quality and experience mostly justify the price point. We were also told the team runs two additional speakeasies across the street -- one tucked behind a deli and another concealed wine bar -- which adds context to how deliberate and interconnected the concept feels. All in all, a polished speakeasy that prioritizes experience, design, and well-made drinks. Not an everyday stop, but a solid choice if you enjoy immersive bars and don't mind paying for the novelty done right.

Initially, I headed to Pasadena hotel and Pool's bar, but they were closing early, so the bartender recommended I try out Ladies and Gentlemen. Such a great recommendation! Arrived on a whim at around 9pm. This place is a little hard to find, but if you head to the back of the little food court and take the elevator down, you'll arrive in a mysterious lobby (filled with bathrooms). You give your ID to the impeccably dressed gentleman who checks your ID and guides you to one of the resrtooms. You Press Flush and are magically transported to the inside of the bar and directly to the Hostess at the front. The interior is dark and sexy; Exactly what I want from a speakeasy environment. I was immediately sat at one of the tables and I noticed all the lovely people enjoying themselves. This place is DEFINITELY a spot for couples. If you wanna wow your significant other, come here. Its perfect for that. Me, I was on one of my world famous solo adventures, so I will definitely make it back here on a date. I do wish they had some bar top seating, It would have been better for me, but not every place is solo date friendly and thats perfectly ok. For drinks! I started with the Beauty and the Beast. Fruity delicious and refreshing. I loved it and the presentation. Very instagrammable. Next, I had the This and That - definitely the most interesting of the trio of drinks I tried. Dry, spicy, and with a sesame oil float. Definitely unexpected, but i did enjoy. Finally, I had the Apple and Pie - probably my favorite out of the bunch! It was refreshing, with cinnamon and apple flavors. Refreshing a little like Christmas at the same time. Apparently they make the apple cider in house, which was super cool. Customer service was impeccable! I had a few waiters and they were all great! Nice visit to Ladies and Gentlemen! The drinks were on the pricier side, but with the ambiance and customer service, it was totally worth it. I will definitely be back with a date in tow. This is the sexy little cocktail bar of your dreams.

Ladies and Gentlemen is such a fun speakeasy in Old Town Pasadena. The entrance is like an escape room that leads you to a beautiful and dark restaurant/bar. Service was spectacular. Our server was so friendly and provided great recs from the huge cocktail menu. Got the Beauty & the Beast and the Man on Fire if I remembered correctly. My friend and I love cocktail bar hopping and we both agreed that drinks were thoroughly made. All the ingredients were nicely blended together into cohesive cocktails!

Visited Ladies & Gentlemen as a Father's Day treat from my wife, and it completely lived up to the hype. We'd had this place on our radar for a while, and finally made it in. Tucked away beneath the shopping area near Pressed Juicery, it's got full speakeasy energy--the entrance is disguised as a restroom door, and behind it is a bouncer ready to check your ID. Once inside, you're transported. We were greeted immediately and seated at a perfect table for two. The space wasn't packed, which gave us room to settle in and take our time with the menu. We started with an order of oysters (my personal favorite--even got Miori to indulge me), followed by the braised short ribs and a hot honey sausage pizza. Every single dish was delicious and well-balanced, and the portion sizes hit the mark. Of course, the star here is the drinks--this place is known for custom cocktails presented with a little theatrical flair. I went with the "Give and Take" (beautifully done) and a classic Old Fashioned. Solid drinks, great attention to detail. Our server, Michaela, was warm and professional--super helpful and happy to answer questions. The whole ambience was moody, dark, and stylish. Loved the tasteful nude art on the walls and the overall cool, curated vibe. There was a DJ setup in the corner, but no live music during our visit. Still, the background playlist set the mood just right. Highlights: - Speakeasy entrance through a fake restroom door - Great service and zero rush on a holiday weekend - Creative cocktails + delicious small plates - Romantic, dark aesthetic perfect for a night out - Already planning our return to try more of the drink menu

The pizza and drinks were really good but as beautiful as the ambiance and interior is, I feel like the food was underwhelming for the price and we even found a small worm in out crispy spicy tuna rice which they did end up taking off the tab, but we expected better going in

Amazing place to visit and enjoy the beautiful nightlife. The drinks are fantastic with the music and foods. Recommended for friends and couples who want to dating.

We came here mainly for the drinks, and honestly, they were all super creative, really pretty, and totally photogenic. Drinks like the Beauty of the Beast and the Burn XXX really took the dining experience to another level. The flavors were interesting and fun to try, though I wouldn't say they were super smooth. We also got a few appetizers to go with the drinks. Everything looked great when it came out. The potato salad and short ribs were both well-cooked with some nice Asian fusion seasoning. The milk bread was a bit disappointing though. It didn't have much flavor, and the texture was a little dry, not like the soft and fluffy Japanese milk bread I'm used to. The pizza was tasty though, with a nice balance of sweet and savory. The ambience here is seriously something else. It's a speakeasy-style bar with gold skulls and dark, moody vibes that really give it a cool, mysterious feel. We went on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded at all, which I loved. Service was really attentive too. We had a trainee helping us, and it was sweet to see how the team was guiding her and paying attention to the little details. You can tell they work well together and care about the experience.

I just have to say, gorgeous layout. The art on the wall, and the decor. It's dark and alluring. Service was great. It's nice when they offer water, and it's really nice when they offer sparkling water. Drinks were so good. One of my drinks tasted like an apple pie!! So creative when they put a little show for you when your drinks arrive. Definitely will come again! No doubt about it

Interesting friendly speakeasy. Pretty cool interior, subdued atmosphere. We went for a weeknight BD celebration. My baby bro and his BFF. We had a nice relaxing convo, I was surprised how chill it was for such a packed place. Every table was full. But no loud mouthed obnoxious butt holes or yakety yak yakers. This was my third time. First for my guests. The drinks are all excellent and unexpected. Don't focus on the distillate as much as the flavor profile stated on the menu. As an example I ordered a burning man. Our friend stated "he could not stand rum drinks" he was surprised and really liked the rum drink.

Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. When we walked in, there was a tall, bald male bartender and a blonde female bartender working--neither of whom I've seen here before. We ordered two drinks, but the service from the male bartender was inattentive from the start. At one point, my friend tried to get someone's attention to ask for a lime and wasn't acknowledged. She ended up grabbing a lime herself from the garnish tray--which I understand isn't ideal--but the response we got was completely out of line. The male bartender became immediately hostile and started aggressively cursing at my friend. When I calmly asked the female bartender if this was normal behavior, he inserted himself into the conversation and said, "she put her fucking hand in the fucking jar," in a very confrontational tone. I tried to de-escalate the situation and respectfully explained that there was no reason to speak to us that way, but he continued the hostility and ultimately told us to "get the fuck out." At that point, I paid for our drinks and we left. What made this especially disappointing is that this has never been our experience here before. We've always enjoyed this bar and have had positive interactions with the regular staff. If this had been my first visit, I would not come back. I understand that what my friend did wasn't appropriate, but it absolutely did not justify being yelled at and cursed out. I hope management addresses this, because this kind of behavior is not reflective of the bar I've come to know.

We got seated almost immediately which I liked considering it was earlier than our reservation time. On the menu they had 3 different flavor mimosas which were orange, mango & pineapple. For food, I ordered the steak and eggs the eggs were cooked perfectly but were very oily. Steak was good too & I really enjoyed their breakfast potatoes. Service was great. Server was very attentive & filled out mimosas glasses as soon as we would finish which I love lol. We would definitely come back here for a game night.

There's also a cool little speakeasy in the basement. At the entrance you'll find a display case filled with Dodgers bobbleheads. They have an extensive beer list (about 20 on draft), specialty cocktails, and free freshly popped popcorn to snack on. The walls are lined with sports memorabilia and there's a juke box for entertainment between games. I had many fun nights here when I was younger. My friend and I were in the area and stopped in for a drink. Tony was behind the bar and he was an absolute doll. He's one of those friendly neighborhood bartenders that you would reveal your deepest secrets to. My friend had a beer and since it was Cinco de Mayo, I ordered a margarita with Tromba Tequila. It was tasty. My friend and I munched on popcorn while watching the Dodgers game. It was a relaxing evening and a reminder that I should visit the 35er again soon. *Adjacent parking garage (90 mins free) or metered street parking.

The ambiance is actually great. It has a quirky, old-style pub feel with some interesting artwork on the walls. The service, however, moved at a very slow pace. If you're looking to nurse a pint and contemplate life, it's perfect. If you're actually hungry, you might start eyeing the table decor. We sat down for an early dinner and the food was a mixed bag. Ordered Apps. Popcorn chicken and onion rings. They were what was expected as far as flavor. The Shepherd's Pie was a little devoid of seasoning. The House Burger was okay. It won't offend you, but it certainly won't make you write home about it. The Short Rib was the almost the lone survivor and hero of the evening but there was a tragic error. Serving warm flavorful meat on cold, old risotto is a bold move...and not in a good way. At least the price was right (shoutout to the BOGO passport). It's a neat little spot to grab a drink and soak in the atmosphere, and watch some sports on their TVs. As far as dinner goes, it's a one-and-done adventure for us.

The bar has some great cocktails to try but I went for "Don't be a Prick." Yes, the name alone had me at "hello," but it was a prickly pear margarita which is my fav! I lucked out! It had fresh blueberries in it and was very good! My Yelp sister Nikki went for the same drink, my sister Sam got the Purple People Eater which was rum based with Ube syrup & my sister Hannah ordered a specialty mocktail created by our bartender Lou who was dyno-mite! However, it's next door to Edwin Mills by Equator. I met my lovely Sisters B here for Happy Hour. The place gives off friendly neighborhood dive bar vibes. Bartender Lou is fantastic! Friendly, upbeat, & attentive. 5 stars for him. The cleverly named cocktails incorporate unique ingredients such as Ube Syrup, Ube beer, & lime dust. Our drink order consisted of Don't Be a Prick, Moon Rocks, & Purple Peter Eater. Lou was kind enough to create a lovely mocktail for Ms. Hannah. The Purple Peter Eater is a picturesque drink that combines rum with Ube beer and gets its pretty hue from Ube Syrup. The Moon Rocks had a bit of a kick and is a tad on the sweet side. I really enjoyed the Don't Be a Prick, which was a tasty combo of Tequila, Prickly Pear Syrup, & Lime garnished with blueberries. The music can be a bit loud, but there is a quaint courtyard that is shared with adjacent restaurant Mills Alley if you prefer to sit outside. You can also order select food items from there as well. We sat inside and had a great time catching up. It's always a fun time when the Sisters B get together.

Because this is a hotel bar since it's situated in The Langham 5-star luxury hotel, the drinks are expensive like $25 starting. One of my friends got a lemon-based mocktail (pretty good) and I got Cosmopolitan-type cocktail with Prosecco (pretty solid and not overly sweet, just not one of the best cocktails I tried). Another friend ordered Negroni, which is a potent cocktail with a bitter sharp, dry aftertaste. I could hardly taste any hint of sweetness in the drink. My friend thought it was too bitter, too. Honestly, for me it tastes just as bitter as a Manhattan, probably because both cocktails incorporate sweet vermouth. 3 stars for the poor customer service and wait time for standing in line to order drinks. There were 2 or 3 bartenders and they were rushing but also seemed like they weren't efficiently helping customers with drinks in a timely manner. The lounge area was meh (super limited seat spots) and the vibes were bland despite coming here on New Year's Eve. Definitely an older demographic that frequents this bar, not that it's a bad thing, just not our vibe since it would've been more fun if there other people closer to our age, so we decided to bar hop elsewhere after.
