I have been an employee of Atlanticare for 18 years and have just recently retired. I have been a patient of Ladies Choice for all of those 18 years. I had been seeing Dr. Petitt and then Dr. Magid. I generally saw them in Galloway. They were excellent doctors all of those years!! Recently as medicine has shifted, we don't get to see doctors anymore. We see nurse practitioners. I'm OK with that as long as they give the same care and attention to tests and test results as the doctors once did. In my recent visit, I had a couple issues going on which required lab work and then ultrasound. After each test was done, which was probably a few weeks apart, I got no response and no explanation of my results. I called the office and they offered me a telehealth visit. I believe that once tests are done, the patient should be contacted. Patients are not the medically educated ones. If these practices cannot take the time to explain results to their patients, just a quick phone call or even an email, then we are left wondering. Maybe other OB/GYN practices do not do this. But this one does. I had to call for my first results. I never bothered calling for my second results. I have found a doctor elsewhere, recommended by friends. read more

I wish that I could have left a 0. Dr.Anne Pettit is by far the most insensitve woman I have ever met. With her poor knowlege, and awful bed side mannor, she made me feel terrible. Every question I asked, she would answer with.."Im not sure..." She was extremely rough, so unprofessional, and couldnt give a crap with what my issue was. No wonder why she takes new patients... NO ONE WOULD GO BACK TO HER. It all started with the staff. Ignorant, gosspiy, loud mouthed snobs. Not only were they extremely rude, but the two girls at the front desk went on and on and on about their weekend, their boyfriends, their new diets... I just wanted to say SHUT UP! After waiting for an hour and a half, they brought me into a little filthy bathroom and asked me to urinate in a paper cup, write my name on it, and put it in the utility sink once I was finished. I was appalled, needless to say. I suppose I sound quite upset, but I have every right to. I went in there looking for some help, and all I got back were dirty looks, an unfriendly "doctor," and no answers to anything. I highly reccommend that if you are looking for a new gyno- go elsewhere. This place is a dump. There are other reviews about this place if you search it on google. I am not the only one. Dr Petit left yanked my placenta out of me and I suffered from two major hemmorhage and had to get D&C surgery. I almost died. She never showed me any remorse or apologize when she saw me. Stay away!!!! I do not know why this OBGYN group is keeping this heartless doctor to give shitty care to their pregnant patients. read more

I must say I'm surprised at the 7 bad reviews, but I never thought to write a review of my GYN. Guess it makes sense though. Well, I've been a patient of Dr. Bredin for 18 years. I love her. I find she has a pleasant demeanor, answers all my questions, and never seems rushed or too busy for me. If I don't understand something, she will explain it in more than one way. She seems to genuinely care about my health. *I always request Dr. Bredin only, I don't see anyone else, so I can't comment on the other Doctor or mid-wives, but I'll say this, if any doctor or nurse ever talked down to me in any office, you can believe I'd have something to say right back-before I walk out the door!! About the office staff, they're usually polite & courteous. I've never waited more than 20 minutes past my appt. time. One time a cna girl was on a personal call & ignored me but another girl noticed it and she helped me with what I needed. I'm sure every office has chatty employees, although their conversations should never be more important than the clients well-being or comfort, but, that said, I'm satisfied with Dr. Bredin. :) read more

Women! Stay away from this place. From the receptionist to the midwife and doctors, this practice has a horrible organizational culture. I am surprised they continue to stay in business as they provide bare minimum care for expecting women. The wait time to see a provider is more than an hour. Once you get to see a provider, your questions are ignored or not answered. Do your research and find other providers. Avoid! Avoid! AVOID these irresponsible and unethical group of people. read more

first pregnancy with the wife and we had no idea how we were going to be as parents and had no idea where to go for prenatal care. So what did we do? we chose the closest place. BAD IDEA This place was the worst medical establishment we have ever stepped foot in. We went for a few months and not once saw a doctor. Each time it was a different midwife or CNA. The only person that showed some attention to use and genuinely seemed like she care was Judy. She should have her own office somewhere. The other midwifes were insensitive and just going through the motions. The butch old smoker lady was the worst. As a first time pregnancy of course you have a million questions as my wife did. Her answers were short and unsympathetic and made us feel like idiots for asking. On top of all this they charged us some $800 "office charge" that they only explain as "for providing our services." every other person we spoke to about this place said they never had that. Thankfully we decided not to pay it all at once and only paid a couple hundred of it before leaving. Leaving was just a hassle as going there. They would not help with releasing our records and even tried to charge us for having them do it. Thankfully we found our home with Pavilion OB in EHT. We have seen a doctor each time and it feels like they do backflips to make you feel comfortable. After leaving we heard from even more people who had experience with this place. I even have a friend who works at the hospital in L&D and she said not to go. Zero stars would be a better fit for this place but since I have to give at least one it is for Judy. read more

I have been a patient here for about 8 years and every time I come I wait over an hour past my appointment time. Everyone I know who has come here has had bad experiences and left. I never developed a comfortable relationship with any of the doctors or nurses here. I would not recommend this office to anyone and after my most recent appointment I will not be going back. read more

If I could leave a negative star I would. At 8 months pregnant I left the office for a better doctor who actually knew me and cared. The level of Unprofessionalism at this office is ridiculous. Many times the doctors would make fun of my weight gain or anything they saw fit (I.e. Toe nail polish color, etc) They gossip about patients, don't inform patients of wait time, and don't even review the chart before entering the room. I was at the hospital with pre contractions and on the follow up visit the dr didn't even read that in my chart, she had no idea. After leaving their office they tried to bill my insurance company on my due date. When that didn't work, they quickly changed the description to prenatal care IN THE EXACT SAME amount. Ladies choice is the WORST choice for pregnant women. All the doctors have different opinions. One will tell you one thing, then the next another. read more

I would never recommend Ladies Choice to anyone. The first couple visits were ok considering I've never gone anywhere else. However, I could never make an apt with one doctor consistently, then they kept changing my apt on me, and finally, when I needed birth control, it took them 4 days to call me back and that was after my pharmacy and I contacted them 6 times. The receptionist was extremely rude and made me feel like they didn't want to answer my call, and then kept forwarding me to a full mailbox voicemail after I told her not to. When I called again for another prescription, they never called me back period which is really unprofessional and frankly, I don't think they check their voicemails at all. The last visit I had there made me wait an hour and a half. I heard the doctor complaining in the hallway (the door was cracked and the walls are thin) that she had to see me after her busy morning, had no bedside manner, and the actual checkup made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I felt pain for several days. She was only in my room for 5 minutes and rushed and ended up hurting me. This place disgusts me. read more

I have been going there since I returned to the area and my previous gyno office in Galloway had retired. There are not many gyno offices in the area and I am done having kids. I just basically need someone to write a script for my birth control. The doctors there are not up on recent info and when researching birth control, the one nurse practitioner puled out a book that was 3 years old. I had to tell them what birth control to give me! After I did the research online about amounts of hormones. The wait time is long and some of the staff are better then others. The office is convenient to home and I only go there once a year. I am thinking about driving the hour to my old doctor in Voorhees which I loved. read more

Although several of the doctors and midwives are adequate, in general the practice is an Ob-Gyn factory. Wait time was generally 60-90 minutes past appointment time, there is no consideration for the patients schedule. I also I found that if I did not speak-up, ask questions, and push for answers during my pregnancy the visits were just in and out, as if the doctor/mid-wife had not even read the chart. It appeared to me that the practitioners were more concerned with what they expected to be wrong, rather than addressing the problems I was actually experiencing. read more

I agree with the other reviews posted about this practice. I read these warnings before going there for my pregnancy, however I decided to give the Dr and practice the benefit of the doubt and decide for myself. Wait times are terrible, the staff is sometimes polite and helpful though often not, and my experience with Dr.Petit matches the remarks left by the other reviewers. I agree Dr. Petit has the worst bed side manner I have ever experienced. I was pregnant with my first child and had just bought a new dress and felt pretty good about myself. So, my bra was showing slightly underneath my armpit. She says to me how does your husband feel about the way you dress. I almost fell off the table. Who do you think you are. PETIT LEFT AND IS NOW WITH RELIANCE OBGYN. I do not miss her. I love the rest of the staff left at Ladies Choice. They are professional and to-the-point. They are always kind, and though the wait in the waiting room is often around 30 min....it's much better than the other OBGYN I was seeing and definitely worth it. They pushed things around for me so that I could receive WIC on time and are seriously accommodating. I would never leave. The reason I gave three stars is because of the wait time and because they did happen to lose my paperwork 1 time and I had to be blood tested 2x. read more

I've been going to Ladies Choice for 7+ years, have been through two pregnancies as a patient of theirs. I can't say enough about my care and the compassion of all of the practitioners.... I especially prefer to see either Monica or Judy as I saw them most frequently throughout my second pregnancy. I never waited longer than 15 minutes. I've been a patient at Ladies Choice for 7 or so years and I have always loved the midwives there. Monica delivered my New Year's baby a few months ago and everything was wonderful. Linda talked me through a miserable last month of pregnancy and let me whine all I wanted. All of the midwives are calm and competent and caring. I'm not sure what's up with all of the negative reviews here. No place is perfect but I have only had good visits with these professionals. read more

I'll give it three stars because the first time I went it was really nice. The young girl at the front desk was really nice and somehow the second time I went the young girl was also a medical assistant. She was indian and always said thank you and please. The second time I went , it was different people working there and they were also nice. I saw Judy and when she was leaving the room I heard her say " some people can not keep their legs closed" I WAS ABOUT TO CRY!!!!!! She is a doctor and She SHOULD NOT judge! she is not god and a doctor should not make a comment like that, And for her information I had only been with one person, I cant help it if they decide to cheat. That really hurt my feelings. It seemed like now that I went some staff was bullying other staff and the manager heard it and said nothing, it was funny but very unprofessional. read more

Really wish I could give no stars. Went to this place yesterday. Had an appointment with Judy Moskowitz. She was the most ignorant and unprofessional, stuck up person I have ever met. When the nurse brought me into the room she told me to undress from the waist down, so naturally I took off my shoes because who the hell wear shoes with no pants? Judy comes in and before even introducing herself she says "put your shoes on I'm not a foot doctor." So half naked, I walk across the room and put my shoes on... She continued on with rude comments like "I can't stand you girls with the ugg boots, I want to shoot every single one of you" and "the blood work lady is leaving soon so I'll be quick with you because you're a big girl so it will probably take a long time for her to stick you" (I am not that big..) and when she saw my eczema across my lower stomach she said "EW what is all that?!" I will NEVER go back to this place again... There's a reason I was the only patient there. Even the lady at the front desk was moody and not very nice....DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! read more
