Lady Blume was one of our last coffee stops on our way home from a great stay in the Russian River Valley, and this cute joint tucked away next to a playground in Cotati was exactly what we needed! Lady Blume Microbakery serves delicious coffee drinks and pastries. Each drink even comes with a tiny cookie! Cute and delicious. The coffee was good, service even better. We even ventured to try their housemade donut holes. These were more like a cakepop without a stick. Very good and a great donut alternative! There is lots of seating inside, and the back room offers more space to spread out. The place was packed when we visited. Seemed like a popular spot for Father's Day morning. While I probably won't be in the area to visit again anytime soon, if you're nearby, Lady Blume is totally worth checking out. read more

Stopped by for a quick caffeine fix and found this spot to be a cute little cafe with great coffee! They also make gluten free baked goods which we did not indulge in. The staff was so nice! They were patient with us while we decided on what to order and made friendly conversation. Love it! Got a Strawberry Matcha and my daughter got a kidachino. My drink was absolutely fabulous I can't wait to get another one my daughter wouldn't even try her hers but she's a toddler that's how they are I thought it was a great idea I tried it it was pretty good I don't love cinnamon and I'm pretty sure it had cinnamon. I'm trying to shop more locally and get away from corporations, one reason I can't get away from Starbucks is it so convenient especially when I have my child. I had a little extra time last week so we stopped in here vs the Starbucks drive through. I was pleasantly surprised there's a little kiddy area for kids to play, specialty kids drinks and it's right across from the Cotati Park, so we ended up sitting for a moment and then going to the park. I came here after a long walk around 1030 am. I decided to try their poppy bread and it was pretty good. The coffee was not too sweet and tasted overall good, but it's a bit strong. I enjoyed the small cookie they add on top of your coffee. Service was good. However, when I was there I asked if they had pup cups and they responded that they did. So I asked if I could get 2 pup cups and was charged for them (normally coffee shops give them free) so just keep that into consideration if you come here. The pup cups are $3 each. I don't mind paying but a heads up always is nice. Anywho, the shop has a nice ambiance and is mellow and chill. I didn't get to see the outside as I was on the run, but it looks nice in other pictures. read more

Unfortunately when I went to order my large latte with light ice the lady behind the counter refused to do it and instead gave me a small drink but charged me for the larger. She was incredibly rude and condescending. Also they give out free cookies without your drink on the lid with nuts in them with zero warning. Nut allergies can be life threatening. They should at least ask or warn people. read more

Absolutely love this spot! I am a regular and loyal customer. The space is large and very clean. I enjoy studying here and also escaping from reality for a little. They have a beautiful backyard area with benches, Shoutout to Ezra! Ezra is amazing, and always welcoming and kind. I wish I had pictures of the items I've tried but hands down their bread pudding is amazing! I love their iced lattes with monk sweetener. My Cajeta latte was amazing! Not too sweet and plenty of espresso. Just walking into the store you get a sweet smell of baked goods. The chocolate matcha donut I chose paired perfectly with my latte choice. Happy to have a new local coffee shop here in Cotati. Lady Blume Microbakery is located in downtown Cotati! I was excited to try this gluten free bakery! When you walk in, they have a case full of various pastries including donuts, breads, cookies and more! I ordered a slice of the pumpkin bread and the cornmeal triple berry muffin. Both were very delicious and the cornmeal muffin had a great texture! I also ordered a chai latte, which came with a small cookie on top of the lid. The cookie was incredible! The bakery is very cozy, warm and inviting. This would be a great spot to meet friends or clients.  I'd recommend stopping in to try this quaint cafe! read more

Couldn't wait to try this place as I've been gluten-free for over 20 years. Tried the blueberry muffin, the chocolate doughnut with raspberry glaze and a chocolate chip cookie. Yummy! My favorite was the blueberry muffin. It was so moist that it was hard to believe that it was gluten-free I would've added a picture but driving around today I nibbled constantly, and I only have 3/4 of the cookie left I met one of the bakers who was lovely and a pleasure to speak with. Had I had more time I would've asked more about the business and sat down for a while at a table. What I could see of the place was small but clean and comfortable. It was also very easy to get to off the main street. I highly recommend this place for gluten-free tastiness. Next time I will try the coffee. read more

The service is great! I love how they designed the store and there is a lot of seating indoor and outside seating. It's very decorative and they have a lot of specialty drinks. The coffee is really good and the pastries are even better. Everything is gluten-free and despite that it's still really good, the cookies are extremely delicious, but it has walnuts so if you have an allergy let them know! They give you a mini cookie when you order drinks and having them at the same time is yummy!! read more

Really cute coffee shop in town! We went around 11:15am on a Friday, so it was pretty quiet. They had some specialty drinks so we decided to give them a try. We ordered: - an iced desert sage: it's what they described as their take on an iced vanilla latte, with sage infused sugar. I loved it! Well balanced with just a hint of sage thy I could taste. - wildflower (iced): this is just like a chai tea, with infused lavender sugar. There is no coffee in the drink itself except for the HUGE espresso ice cube. I felt like the ice cube took up a lot of space, and my hubby finished his drink before the cube melted. He did like the drink though. *both drinks were topped with a biscuit type cookie, it was a Great touch! Last, we got the orange blossom almond cake. We loved it! This bakery is probably the best gluten-free one I have ever been. I just had one of their chocolate donuts and a slice of chocolate pound cake- they were delicious and moist, just divine. In other places, most gluten-free baked goods are awful but everything we purchased here, multiple times, was great. I am pretty sure it took a lot of work to perfect the recipes to this level. The young woman making coffees is a magician. She is fast, efficient, knows her job well. I am so grateful I don't have to explain to a barista what a cortado is - pretty basic drink, does not have lots of fancy words. The coffees came with a small walnut cookie and it was lovely at first bite. I hope Lady Blume will be here for a very long time so I can enjoy it. So I went back about a week ago and got their mocha, a chocolate pound cake slice and the blueberry muffin. Everything was delicious! My daughter who is not GF devoured half of my pound cake slice. Both the muffin and cake slice were very moist, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. Same for the mocha, which was all great because I tend to go easy on sugar. The staff were very friendly too! I'm really happy I went back, and will be visiting again soon. read more

I'm posting an update to my previous review. I posted my review recently, on an older visit from June/July. I did go earlier in the day, directly after the gym, around 10:30. There were plenty of options to choose from in the case. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a cookie, along with the Wildflower drink from the winter menu. It was a spicy chai with lavender and espresso (because I ordered it hot) It was very good, the lavender didn't register as much as I expected. As I mentioned before the ambience is lovely, and curated beautifully. A sweet cafe for gluten free and non gluten free people, alike. The cookie was a fan favorite. read more

Love love love this place, but I wish they were open earlier! Multiple times I'm groggy and come by at 8am only to remember they always open at 9. Poppy seed slice is killer, cornmeal muffin 10/10, the iced matchas are great, my favorite is the campfire (sometimes w/ a shot). Never had anything bad here. There is a shorter younger person working here occasionally (not sure of their pronouns, but I think they have short black hair?) that pulls the best shots and makes excellent coffee, never burned and perfect temp. I always try to catch them for their excellent brewing skillz. Also, outdoor area is chill and nice addition. There is pottery inside that is pretty and very reasonably priced. Love looking at the different pieces and have come very close to buying a few. read more

Extremely pleased with this charming spot! Had been trying to get here and finally made it recently and it did not disappoint. The baked goods were moist and delicious and I LOVED that she identified which items were made without egg (thank you so much). The lemon poppyseed was my fave of the day (made with eggs, for lemon I make an exception) but everything was really delicious. The maca drink I had too was yummy and I appreciated that she made them without the oils listed on the ingredients list. So good! A real gem for our county. Will be back soon! read more

I recently visited a delightful new coffee shop in town in Cotati that exudes a cozy, family-owned vibe. The charming interiors create an inviting atmosphere, perfect for sipping coffee and relaxing. The benches in the interiors were cute with pillows allowing for a comfortable seat. I decided to try two of their signature coffee: Desert Sage and Cajeta. Unfortunately, I found myself a bit underwhelmed by the flavors. While the Desert Sage had a bold profile, it was a touch too intense for my taste, overshadowing the subtleties I was hoping to enjoy. The Cajeta, on the other hand, didn't quite deliver the unique experience I anticipated--it felt somewhat bland. I expected the Cajeta to have more caramel or cinnamon taste. But if you like subtle taste, this might be for you. They also offered a selection of gluten-free pastries, including cookies, donuts, and breads. However, they didn't appeal to me, so I opted to skip them this time around. Things I tried: Desert Sage (specialty coffee) White sage infused sugar, vanilla bean, espresso, whole milk *iced* (3.75/5) Cajeta (specialty coffee) Mexican caramel, cinnamon, espresso, whole milk *iced* (3/5) Overall, I think I'll stick to their regular coffee options on my next visit. this is a small bakery right near the Plaza park in Cotati. All their pastries are gluten-free, which is nice to know because I have a daughter in law that is allergic to wheat so I decided to try this place. The inside is very small, but pleasant. They also serve coffee drinks. I got the very bread pudding, which is very good. I was surprised cause I'm not usually fond of gluten-free type of foods unless they're done right. They gave me a small cookie which is also very good. I got the chai tea they will serve it with either oat milk, almond milk or whole milk. They use honey for sweetener. It was very good. I liked it. Love this place! I'm gluten free and vegan and their baked goods and coffee are so yummy. Love the unique flavors they offer I love the 'Desert Sage' which is a white Sage vanilla latte and the 'Wildflower' that's a chai with espresso and lavender. The functional mushroom drinks are also great! They also have coffee cubes and non dairy milk options. As for the baked goodz- everything I've tried has been 10/10. The cornmeal muffins/squares with different jams are great. The bread pudding and banana bread have great flavor and texture. The cinnamon rolls are incredible and i love the mini cookies they give you with every drink! They've also been doing pop up baked good with local gf bakers!
