We had a taste of soufflé pancakes for the first time in Japan and came to Lady C's specifically for the soufflé pancakes. While not as good as Japan they were still great and I would eat them again. Their menu is huge with lots of options for everyone. My kids had chocolate pancakes and chocolate French toast, my wife had a dish with eggs and chicken and I shared the soufflé pancakes. A word to the wise the portions at Lady C's are huge. Probably one dish for two people is plenty. Don't over order. I ordered a side of eggs and bacon for each of my boys and it was all way too much. Finally made it to Lady C's, formally Ceci's.  Wow, 29 page menu..... you can be here a while trying to decide what to get. So many options. We got the Beef Panang Curry with Lava Omelet, a strawberry waffle, a Ceci Benedict and a Green Forest Omelet. Seeing all of the wonderful food arrive at the other tables made us even hungrier. Some of the dishes are just amazing. The fluffy Souffle pancakes, the outrageous French Toast, and the shakes, wow.... Just so many wonderful options. My father loved the Beef Panang curry and Lava omelet. First time he has had a Lava Omelet. Runny egg that mixes in great with the heat and flavor of the Beef Panang. Wish we had some bread to soak up the juices on the plate. My mom really enjoyed the waffle. So many strawberries and inches of whipped cream. The Ceci Benedict was flavorful and cooked well. It looked so good. The Green Forest Omelet was really tasty, good garlic flavor, lots of veggies. And the potatoes were cooked well and just disappeared after I started on them. There is plenty of parking as it shares a parking lot with a few restaurants. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of seating inside and out. There are 2 patios, Even if it looks full, seats open up all of the time. Staff is super friendly and are knowledgeable. With such a large menu, the wait staff needs to know their stuff. We visit family in Westlake Village every few years, but somehow missed this. We were looking for an easy (ADA-friendly) but not fast food breakfast place and found Lady C's on our last day in town. It was so good I almost considered extending our vacation so we could explore the menu further, but we'll definitely be back! We split a strawberry Dutch baby (they're huge!) with a side of sausage. There was a generous amount of fresh, sweet fruit and a light dusting of confectioner's sugar. Delicious! Ample accessible parking near the entrance, and while not a large restaurant, it's well laid out and easy to navigate with a wheelchair. The service was prompt and friendly. Some of the menu items -- like soufflé pancakes and Dutch babies -- take a little more time to prepare, but good food is well worth the wait. The decor is cute and has an upscale-ish vibe, and the menu offers a wide variety of options--almost too many, which made it a bit overwhelming. That said, the experience went downhill from there. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. It took forever just to get our coffee, and basic things were overlooked--like not being offered a straw with water. Our food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it came out in intervals of about 10 minutes. Because we were trying to be polite and wait until everyone had their meals, some of our food ended up getting cold. There were also multiple issues with the food service itself. Syrup wasn't brought out with the pancakes, and even after asking twice, we never received it. The coffee creamer was a big problem--several were spoiled, curdled, and smelled awful when opened. On top of that, the butter and jam dish was a mess, with butter spilled all over and mixed into everything. It was honestly pretty unappetizing. To top it off, an automatic 18% gratuity was added for our large party, which felt frustrating given the low quality of service we received. That's definitely not the case at Lady C's. I first went on a Tuesday morning and was pleasantly surprised--no wait at all. I already knew I had to try the soufflé pancakes, so I ordered the Berry Berry. They do take about 30 minutes, but trust me, they're worth every second. I've never had pancakes like that before. They were unbelievably fluffy with that signature jiggle, almost like eating a sweet cloud. The raspberry coulis was perfectly balanced--sweet with just the right amount of tartness. We parked further along the street from n Ventura Blvd. All food we got was 5/5 and worth it. They have amazing staff, very help and doesn't who is the server they will assist you. They always keep the tables and area clean which is impressive as it is a busy place. The only downside is the 30 page menu. Geeezzz it was hard to select as it is calling you to try everything. Delicious Dutch Baby Pancake. Arrived on Sun at 9 and were seated right away. At 0930 lots of people showed up. Split an Eggs Benedict (the one with bacon) with my sister. Plenty of food for two people. The scalloped potatoes were terrible! Fresh fruit was nice. Dutch baby was big enough to share with my parents at home. Cici's is always a home run! There is always a wait, and it is always worth it. Today, the team seemed very short. Looked like only 4 servers for the restaurant, so we waited even after we sat. This was my first time at this location. Not only was the food delish, the staff was kind and on top of it! I got the spicy fried rice with beef, soo good! My mom had the loco moco Benedict and she really enjoyed it. To end the meal we got a soufflé and a soufflé pancake! The menu here is quite large so I'm excited to come back and try something else new! We got here at a good time and didn't have to wait long, but while waiting there was plenty of shade to wait in. I went with The Airbus which came with eggs, corned beef hash, and I chose the banana berry cream cheese pancakes. Eggs and corned beef were okay but the pancakes....SHEESH! So delicious! And a huge portion of them. My husband got the eggs, chicken apple sausage and itty bitty French toast and he really enjoyed it all. I would definitely say that their sweets are their show stoppers. Everyone can find an option or two to suit their breakfast sweet tooth. The Azteca mocha was so good! Strawberry latte wasn't what I was expecting but it was okay. The food here is honestly amazing, which makes this even more disappointing. The service was terrible. I'm not sure if it's because we didn't "look" like we came from money or what, but our waiter barely acknowledged us the entire time. They constantly checked on every other table around us while repeatedly walking right past ours. Every single time we needed something, we had to stop them ourselves because otherwise we would've just been skipped over completely. It made the whole experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and because of that I honestly never want to come back. CiCi's is a very popular brunch spot sitting in the Westlake Village. This spot is always packed, so I would recommend coming at least 30 minutes early in order to get seated on time. When you first get seated, the menu is quite overwhelming as there were literally over 20 pages. I personally really liked the Lemon Twist Pancake and Spanish Omelette! The service is always really friendly, so you can definitely ask them for recommendations as well. I will say that the service does get a little slow when they get busy, but I never find it to be that big of a problem. The interior is nicely decorated, but I like sitting outside the most.
