La Cereza Cafe & Bakery is such a sweet, local family favorite kind of spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I grabbed a blueberry muffin to go, but the café was full and had such a warm, inviting feel[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The coffee looks strong and amazing, so I know I'll definitely be back to try more. The staff could not be nicer. Please support local.

Stumbled upon this lovely little cafe while in Thousand Oaks for an early morning girls' day, and wow what a find! Nestled right next to Tarantula Brewery and across the street from Basta on T.O. BLVD you can't miss this spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment we walked in, the vibes were absolutely immaculate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner was so kind and instantly made us feel like family. Within five minutes of chatting with her about life, family, prioritizing wellness, and the importance of community, I knew this was going to be a regular stop for me. While I love good food, something I love even more is support good people. They have coffee, teas, speciality drinks, smoothies and then the food ranges from muffins, bagels to burritos and breakfast sandwiches. A large menu for a cozy place. I had the best smoothie I've had in a long time here, it was a mix of raspberry and dragonfruit with a mango juice base. So refreshing, vibrant, and naturally sweet. I'd come back alone just for this sip. Definitely their smoothies are a 10/10.

Coffee 10/10 Always! Breakfast and lunch options available as well as bagels and pastries.

Overall I like this place but there was mold on the syrup. As a restauran This is something they should be checking every single day and is not acceptable. Also the cashier started talking with friends who are eating here and totally forgot about our order and 15 minutes later I asked him where our pre-made dessert is and he ran to the back to go get it

Pretty good cafe with a nice traditional coffee menu. The bread and baked goods also very good quality. However, the food was just okay. The breakfast panini was good but they were very skimpy with the bacon. Go for the coffee.

Dined on 12/25/25! (Open on Xmas!) Loved dining here, the staff is soooo sweet - family owned. On xmas the drinks were half off which was really nice too. Typically I do not like all the drinks at coffee shops with flavors as they tend to be too sweet but I enjoyed every drink!!! So good. Ordered eggs benedict and a BLT - both delicious and happy they were open. :)

We had a reservation but got seated shortly after the reservation time. If you don't have a reservation, expect to wait at least 30+ minutes. The food is definitely worth the wait. We got the salmon and poached eggs waffle, the smores waffle, original, and the Benny Bought a Farm waffle. All was delicious!!!!! They have homemade lemonades as well. Their side of potatoes was also super yummy. Just a note that I requested decaf coffee and it comes from an instant coffee machine and tastes very artificial--not what you expect for the price. We asked about it and they were very kind and offered to replace it with another drink for free. We would love to come back again next time we're in Newbury Park for breakfast!

Loved the pitcher of mimosas and all the fun waffle menu options. It's pretty forward thinking how they put some user videos on tv showing off the food on the menu, and another tv showing the food being made in the kitchen. Nice local addition to the area, we'll be back!

Right after we were seated we were asked to get up and help move the table so they could close the accordion door behind us... okay lol. From the moment our server showed up, our entire experience shifted to being one of the best brunch experiences I've had in the conejo valley area. Our server's name was Zachary K., and he had a wonderful personality. He made excellent recommendations for food & drink. Our food was delicious and arrived within a reasonable amount of time. Zach checked on us regularly and ensured we were enjoying ourselves throughout our time at Sunrose. The restaurant has a very cute vibe and feels almost boho-beachy upon entering. They have an in-house bakery where they sell their pastries and merchandise. We will definitely be back soon

While not as good as Japan they were still great and I would eat them again. Their menu is huge with lots of options for everyone. My kids had chocolate pancakes and chocolate French toast, my wife had a dish with eggs and chicken and I shared the soufflé pancakes. A word to the wise the portions at Lady C's are huge. Probably one dish for two people is plenty. Don't over order. I ordered a side of eggs and bacon for each of my boys and it was all way too much. For three people, two dishes will be plenty to share, even then with left overs. We came on Saturday morning at 9am and while the patio was full there was seating inside available. I would come back.

A family nearby brought a loud toy truck for their child that continuously made an extremely high-pitched screeching and beeping noise throughout our meal. It wasn't just us who found it disruptive--several other customers also brought it to the staff's attention. Unfortunately, nothing was done, and it completely took away from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. Had we known this was the atmosphere we were paying for, we honestly would have gone somewhere like McDonald's instead. The food itself was a mixed experience. My boyfriend ordered the loco moco and really enjoyed it. I had the pancakes, which had great flavor but were a little on the dry side. The sweet potato fries were delicious, although the ranch dipping sauce was surprisingly bland and lacked flavor. My Diet Coke was also flat. It's disappointing because the food had some strong points, but the lack of attention to the dining experience really overshadowed everything else. We understand that restaurants can't control every guest, but when multiple customers express concerns about a major disturbance, we would expect staff to at least attempt to address it. Overall, I'm not sure I can recommend this restaurant based on our experience. Note: I'd also like to mention that the service was inconsistent throughout our visit. We ended up being helped by several different servers, which made it difficult to know who was actually taking care of our table. At one point, we simply wanted to order another drink. Our server told us he would be back shortly to take our order, but he never returned. After waiting for quite some time, we eventually had to walk up to the bar ourselves just to order a drink. Between the lack of attentive service and the way the disturbance was handled, the overall experience was disappointing.
