However, when I saw photos of my friends that had the eyelashes I couldn't help but be jealous of how fabulous they looked so I chose to step out of the box and give it a try. I followed the directions step-by-step that HD provided and I have to admit 3 years later I have not been disappointed. There was an instance that the eyelashes started to fall off a couple days later but that was due to the humidity outside and she came to my home fixed the situation using a different solution and the problem was solved immediately. Obviously, if you don't know what's broken you can't resolve it and if you don't speak up how was she supposed to know there is an issue. She is not a mind reader but I do have to say that she literally is a magician. Now having my eyelashes I cannot seem to live without them. I have learned to even live without even getting my nails done or even a pedicure but it seems that I must make sure my eyelashes are done because it simply changes my appearance on my face by subtracting years from my age. Not to mention so much time from doing simple things like I make up. I get numerous numerous compliments on my eyes which I never did before and they last anywhere from 4 to 5 weeks because I follow instructions on how to care for them. Not to mention the convenience of me going to her home or her coming to my home or business. She even came to me the day after her birthday and I even saw her right after she had her baby. Her work ethic can't go ignored because you can tell she has passion and love for what she actually does and you can see it in the work when she is completed. She just truly loves to capture the beauty in every single lash that she puts on your face it's like an artist with each piece that is produced because each person is a representative of her work. I have zero doubt that anyone that sees Heidi will be discouraged or disappointed in fact I challenge them. I honestly think I could not live without her in my life.

We opted for the "teaser set" that was advertised for $79. After booking online (vagaro.com/lashandbody was the only way to book online), I received a text stating that we needed to pay $20 per person to reserve the booking, and that amount would be applied to our service. Subsequently, I received several annoying reminder texts, one of which mentioned that the location had changed to inside a salon at a different address. Upon arrival, it was not a Lash Lounge as advertised but a salon that looked VERY different from the advertisement. Employees were sleeping in the waiting room. The individual who did our lashes showed up and took us to what appeared to be a storage room. During our session, a loud carpet cleaner was being operated, even banging against the door of the room. When I went to pay, I was informed that the balance was $160 ($79 x 2). I tipped $40, bringing my total to $200. A few days later, my Venmo statement showed the $40 reservation fee was also charged, making the total for services $200 ($100 each instead of $79). I reached out to Marienne twice to inquire about this charge, but received no response. I would not recommend this service due to misleading branding, location, prices, and communication. It is unclear if Lash&Body Lounge is aware that their brand is being used to promote her services.

When it was my turn, I had chosen a color and before I could speak, the nail tech said "is this bubble bath?" I laughed and yelled "yes! I am so amazed that you knew!". My nails came out EXACTLY how I wanted them. Length, quality, color, were PERFECT! And it took less than an hour, which is the fastest I've ever had my nails completed. I bought a one hour massage and then another for 2 hour massage. All of these Groupons were expired but I was able to use them, not only that but the promotion they were having for 2 hour massage had also ended but they honored it without any questions asked. I've taken my mother to several massage places and she always complains that they barely massaged her or that they focused too much on one area other than the other...but not with Up beauty lounge. When I picked up my mom she was so happy. She looked refreshed and overall completely satisfied with the service and attention to detail she received.
