I had to make an emergency appointment with an opthamologist after my lash appointment with spa bar because I am leaving for my wedding tomorrow. I told the doctor I felt some extra burning in that corner while getting them done and the specialist told me the lash tech either scratched my eye or got some of the chemicals in my eyeball that damaged the surface of my eye. I called and asked to speak to a manager (to hopefully get a refund for the extra $25 she charged me for the style I wanted and the $25 I tipped her) but the manager was unavailable and the front desk totally brushed me off saying the doctor was probably wrong and burning was normal. Burning can be normal, but when a specialist tells you that you've damaged someone's eye, accountability is expected. Don't go here unless you want an extra charge for style, and then have to pay $94 at the eye doctor after they damage your eyeball.

Unfortunately had a bad experience…read more First, I scheduled an appointment for 12:30 on a Sunday for a male cut, and received a call that the stylist I requested was no longer available and they could move the appointment two hours back with another stylist who I was told could achieve the same goal. (Vivionne- I apologize if the spelling is incorrect) I asked for a medium/long haircut and was very specific with what I wanted. I included 3 separate inspiration photos and was very very detailed before the cut began. I told the stylist NOT to touch the back since I liked how it was laying at the moment and I also liked how the sides were laying. Really I just needed volume taken out of the top and sides so it wasn't too heavy. I don't believe I was asking for too much and my requests were relayed back to me and I was told what I wanted could be achieved. She reassured me she would just take off weight and thin it out on the top/sides, and wouldn't touch the back. Well, she trimmed off literally everything I had in the back, and took the sides way too short. Additionally, the line up was WAY too rounded and uneven. The one thing I asked her not to touch/trim length off of, she took INCHES off. It was nothing like the pictures I showed and did not reflect the conversation that was had before at all. Extremely disappointing. It was so far off what I asked for it seemed like she forgot the conversation and inspiration and just did what she wanted. If you can't do the cut I asked for, just say that. The salon was completely empty, and for such a large space this should've been a sign. Will not be back and would definitely not recommend Vivionne unfortunately.

When I got to meet Amy, she explained the options they had and then compared that to what I wanted, which was ultimately longer lasting shine/polish on my natural nails. She suggested a newer type of gel, Builder Gel and that's what I got. I never had luck with regular gel polish since it always lifts. The nail salon looks clean to me but some of the waiting chairs could be updated since there was some peeling to it. There was TV but no noise and relatively quiet ish the time i was there. Back to the service, Amy was fantastic! She was thorough and my nails still looks great. I am already planning to see if i can extend by refilling the builder gel since she recommended it last time. (Although the colors right now are a bit limited to neutrals, i think). All in, the service it self was $60.

The main reason I originally left a one-star review was the quality of the finished nails. Within less than 24 hours, three nails had broken, and several others were already smudged. At the time, I was extremely upset because I had spent both time and money on a service that did not even last one full day. Looking back now, I probably would have worded my original review less emotionally, but the concerns themselves were valid. The communication about pricing should have been clearer, and professionally done nails should not have broken or smudged so quickly. According to the overall five of the place, it just seemed your stereotypical expectation of a nice nail salon. Because this visit happened many years ago, I cannot speak to the salon's current staff, service, or quality. They want me to take down this review because of the negative consequences to their business. Well, you won't get that by implying to me that I lied about not liking my horrible hair cut. If you want better reviews, then give a better experience. STOP HARASSING ME. I went to a different salon and the hair dresser was HORRIFIED at this cut. She said that she wouldn't have expected someone who failed hair dressing school to butcher someone's hair like this. Go here, get a horrible hair cut, then have people messaging you who know the "details" of your story and imply that you are not telling the truth. It's totally fun.

Selected the $70 one with stones and paraffin etc. I felt this was pricy but the area probably allows it. It is 8/18 today and my feet still look like I didn't receive the pedicure. Lady tech ddnt speak English well. That is ok, But I was sure she understood I did not want gel again. Lady next to us translated my request. Stones were cold, lady warmed them up, and then burned my skin. I asked her to forget them. Kept telling her "no" with my hands. Our translator had left for the evening. This place does the nail polish b4 they do the pedicure. Never heard of that. They claim because of oils. Whatever, that is what alcohol is for. At the end of the service the "manager" insisted I get charged for the gel even if I ddnt ask for it. He said I should have payed attention to the lady's work.
