I woke up the morning after my lash appointment with spa bar with a huge red irritated blotch on my…read moreeye. I had to make an emergency appointment with an opthamologist after my lash appointment with spa bar because I am leaving for my wedding tomorrow. I told the doctor I felt some extra burning in that corner while getting them done and the specialist told me the lash tech either scratched my eye or got some of the chemicals in my eyeball that damaged the surface of my eye. I called and asked to speak to a manager (to hopefully get a refund for the extra $25 she charged me for the style I wanted and the $25 I tipped her) but the manager was unavailable and the front desk totally brushed me off saying the doctor was probably wrong and burning was normal. Burning can be normal, but when a specialist tells you that you've damaged someone's eye, accountability is expected. Don't go here unless you want an extra charge for style, and then have to pay $94 at the eye doctor after they damage your eyeball.

Selected the $70 one with stones and paraffin etc. I felt this was pricy but the area probably allows it. It is 8/18 today and my feet still look like I didn't receive the pedicure. Lady tech ddnt speak English well. That is ok, But I was sure she understood I did not want gel again. Lady next to us translated my request. Stones were cold, lady warmed them up, and then burned my skin. I asked her to forget them. Kept telling her "no" with my hands. Our translator had left for the evening. This place does the nail polish b4 they do the pedicure. Never heard of that. They claim because of oils. Whatever, that is what alcohol is for. At the end of the service the "manager" insisted I get charged for the gel even if I ddnt ask for it. He said I should have payed attention to the lady's work. How about that.. lady tech confirmed I had asked for no gel. He ignored her. He charged me $90. Seemed desperate. Unbelievably rude of him. I don't live on that side of town. But I definitely will not return. I hope this post helps someone else decide if they will visit or not.

The lady doing my nails kept trying to up sale me on gel polish, I was under the impression that it would only be around $10 for gel since I wasn't getting a manicure or designs. When I go up to pay the charge me $20 for the soak off and $25 for 2 layers of clear gel polish. That is ridiculous and honestly horrible business practice they should be letting you know how much extra it would be or at least charging less for something I can do at home. Update: I recommend anyone that needed a nail service stays far away from this place I called last night and tried to get this issue resolved the hung up on me, I went in this morning to seeing someone could help me and the management was so rude to insisted that "if I didn't want the gel shouldn't have put my nails in the light." Horrible customer service I would give this place a zero star if I could. You go anywhere else with a complaint they try to work with you and help you out this place didn't even try to help fix the problem

One day, I finally decided that it was time- time to get my own eyebrows done and time to love my brows. Doing my brows with makeup is such a pain in the ass because the hairs are so thin, and not even. And shaping them is a whole different story. Booking was very easy on her website. It had all the information you need to know prior to the appointment, but also the aftercare. That was nice because I like to do my research beforehand on everything. Walking into the salon in Orlando, Sky introduced herself and went right down to business - she put the numbing cream on me so that she can get started as soon as she could. The appointment lasted more than a couple hours. Sky does not rush her work which I love- she definitely takes pride in what she does. We had great conversation too- the time flew by! She's really easy to talk to which made feel super comfortable. When she was done, I looked in the mirror and was completely wow'ed! I'm so so excited that now I won't have to do my brows again! I do have to go to a follow up appointment in a couple of months- that is when the procedure is considered finished. During the follow up, Sky will be perfecting them after the initial healing is done. I highly recommend her. Save up your money and invest in getting your brows done by Sky. You won't be disappointed.

Honesty, quality and Amanda's genuine personality is what has made me a repeat customer. Initially, I went to see her for a lash lift and tint. I know my lashes were not as long as others but I wanted that volume. When I arrived to my appt, Amanda assessed my lashes and was honest to saying that they weren't long enough and to use this lash serum she had for 3 months. I had been using a lash serum from Sephora but was willing to try a new product. Over the 3 months, I can tell and have seem new growth in my lashes and on my lash line. I made another appt and the growth is noticeable but for the best results I will continue for another 3 months. I was really skeptical but serum does work!!! She wanted me to be happy with my service results so we waited. No one likes to have services done with unmet expectations. Her honesty is what keeps me coming back. She doesn't try to up sell me on things I don't need and she takes the time to personalize what treatments she thinks would work best, as everyone is different. The ladies here are very nice and easy/fun to talk to. It caught my eye as I was on my way to…read moreanother shop. I stopped in and scheduled and appointment for a lash enhancement. I have been wanting (semi) permanent eyeliner for years and was really excited to finally get it done. The procedure itself was virtually painless. There were only a couple of times on the lower lids that it felt pokey. Otherwise it was fine and just felt like someone was moving my lashes around. I followed the care instructions to the letter but when it was time for the touch-up (included in the price to even out anything that healed wonky) there was nothing there. I looked as though I never had the procedure done. For a few days after the procedure I woke up looking like I had slept with mascara on. I sleep on my back so this wasn't a pillow rubbing or anything. They told me it sometimes happen and that we would try again and I would still be able to get the touch up later at no additional charge. So, we tried again. My technician asked for assistance from another towards the end and they adjusted the needle depth. The upper lid felt the same as the first time but the lower lid was considerably more uncomfortable toward the outer corners. The lines looked different than the first time and I did not experience any "smudging" this time. I was very excited and hopeful for success. Unfortunately, it still didn't hold. When I went back in to see what could be done and if I could get my money back and I was told no that there are no guarantees and no refunds. My paperwork does say there are no guarantees but no where does it suggest that I might end up walking away with nothing. It talks about swelling, bruising, pigment irregularity and fading (in spots or over time), lash loss, corneal abrasion and infection but not one word about it not staying at all. In the end, they offered me a facial as a consolation which, I suppose, is better than nothing. Be aware that this is possible before you sign on the dotted line and put your money down. What are percentages? Idk...but know that it is possible and it does not matter if you are light or dark skinned. All that said, I am very much looking forward to my facial. :)
