Technically they were past breakfast time but they said they could still whip them up for me since they weren't busy. The biscuits were okay - buttery but not exciting. The gravy was the best part super creamy and a richness to it but again nothing out of the ordinary - no unique flavors or spices... And I was really disappointed that the sausage was just little cut up pieces on top not mixed into the gravy at all for flavoring. I would eat again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here.

They have lots of different Ellsworth cheese products, along with a bunch of other Wisconsin made items. We were on our way home from Thanksgiving in Minneapolis. The snow was coming down, and we decided to take a break and grab some lunch. Perfect timing to stop in at the creamery and try one of their famous grilled cheese curd sandwiches. It was noon and a few other people had the same idea. The several staff members we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. I got the sandwich and my wife got the Hot Chicken Tortilla soup. Both were very good. The bread was a thicker Texas toast and nicely grilled. The cheese curds had been melted, but you could still make out the curd shapes. There was a small amount of BBQ sauce that gave it a bit of a tangy flavor. I would have liked a bit more of that. Next time, I would like to get there earlier to check out the actual curd and cheese making process.
