Best scone ever! As a First time customer I don't typically order food; but, the scones looked amazing and when asked I was told they are made in house. So of course, I tried one. Oh. My. Word. The bacon cheddar chive scone is spectacular. I am not over playing this. From the crunch of the bottom to the layers and lamination this scone was the best mouth feel and taste of my life. Great place, lots of seating. Clean and bright. Very busy just after opening on a Monday, maybe five people in front of me. Line moved quickly, the workers behind the counter were wonderful - happy, smiling, which is good on Monday morning! I got the Cafe Miel (espresso, with lots of honey and milk), and it was perfect, and he made me a pretty flower on it. They had fresh pumpkin-white chocolate scones and bacon cheddar chive scones: I got the pumpkin, which was very nice. They also had some prepackaged pastries and bagels. Based on my limited experience, I would definitely come back again. Come for the coffee, stay and watch trains go by right across the street. read more

On a trip from Columbus, OH to Nashville, I asked my wife to look for good coffee shops along the way. She found this one, so we happily took a little detour off the I-71. I wasn't expecting amazing coffee, but I love to check out independent coffee shops wherever I go. But wow. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the coffee here! I had a brown butter toffee latte, my wife had a matcha latte, and we ordered a couple of lemon blueberry scones. The scones were nice (a little sweet for me), and my wife liked her matcha...but I was bowled over by my latte. For the entire drink, I was telling my wife how it's one of the best lattes I've ever had, and while I'm not a professional coffee drinker, I've had lattes at hundreds of shops at this point. As a result, while in Nashville, I kept telling my wife we had to return on the trip back...and we did. Once again I got a brown butter toffee latte, and also bought a bag of their locomotive beans (their darkest roast). I had wondered if I just happened to get lucky on the first trip, but nope! Different barista, but the latte was once again phenomenal. I just finished drinking a cup of the locomotive, and it's also excellent. At the end of the day, while I might not drive 2.5 hours just to get a latte from La Grange, I will certainly plan to make a stop there whenever I'm in the vicinity. read more

One of my last days working in Lagrange and I had to stop in at Lagrange Coffee Roasters to get a scone & cortado. If you've never been to Lagrange you have to go especially in the Winter. They have the streets decorated so cute. This place is cozy and hip. It's very welcoming inside and personally the music they had playing was my jam, The Neighborhood is pretty cool. Last week our friends gave us a tour of LaGrange, KY that featured a stop at a locally owned coffee/tea/pastry shop on Main Street. LaGrange Coffee Roasters fits the bill of a quaint, cozy, spacious place to recharge with a jolt of quality caffeine. There are also bagged goods and merchandise to purchase. Monday evenings feature a BlueGrass Jam session. We were fortunate to watch a train go straight down Main street as we entered the establishment. After having lunch in Lagrange yesterday ( Red Pepper is a must) we decided to grab a drink at LaGrange Coffee Roasters. I am not a fan of coffee so I can't offer you a review there but My husband says their coffee is a medium to dark roast. He got an iced white mocha, he said it was good he would have another one. They do have other drink options so, if you are like me and try to stay away from the hard stuff you won't be left out. They have recently started offering a drink called Pineapple Punch Tea. Honestly I'm addicted. It's sweet, taste just like pineapple and it's light and refreshing. They used to offer ice cream, I hope they will bring that back as things start to get back to normal post COVID. Service was great, everyone is really nice. Lots of places to sit inside and a few chairs outside as well. The decor kinda all over the place, from coffee bags hanging on the wall to pictures of people on motorcycles, it's a very eclectic spot. If your in town it's worth a try. read more

A recent trip to LaGrange found my friends and I visiting many shops on Main Street, in the historic downtown area. We stopped by LaGrange Coffee Roasters to rest our legs and refuel. It checked all my boxes for a great coffeeshop: Local business, clean, friendly and knowledgable staff, great atmosphere (this one was cozy and inviting!), an excellent choice of coffee options, sugar free syrups, and most importantly, DELICIOUS coffee! The space is large and open with plenty of seating options, both tables and soft, comfy upholstered chairs. They offer a variety of coffee and tea beverages and a great selection of homemade baked goods. Bagged coffee and branded merchandise are also available for purchase. If you are lucky like we were, you will even get to watch a train go through the middle of the street while enjoying your beverages! I will definitely visit again when I am in La Grange. read more

Not sure why this place is getting so many less that stellar reviews. Their game is coffee and I'd say they do it well. I got a large coffee and it ended up being $2.50...which I'll give to a LOCAL spot over the Starbucks Empire. I went on a Tuesday and the place was pretty packed. I guess the people in that day got over the "Costco muffins" and the "bad music" and even the "awful parking situation". Heaven forbid you might have to walk. I did happen to go while their espresso machine was down--these things happen and now it looks like they're closed for a bit thanks to COVID scare. read more

Stopped in here for a meeting for work. Love the local feel. Open area and plenty of seating. The service was friendly and the latte was amazing! Love that they offer sugar free syrup options. This is a local spot located right on Main Street in Historic downtown Lagrange. They also offer hot coffees, iced coffees, teas, Italian sodas and more! The music is a bit loud so it wouldn't be ideal for a video or conference all but a great space to work. They also have seasonal drinks, be sure to ask about them. Over a year ago, my husband tried LaGrange Coffee Roasters and told me their caramel latte was the best he's ever had. Since then, I've always wanted to go, but we don't go over to LaGrange very often. Last week, we were driving by LaGrange, so I knew we had to stop by! Spoiler alert: I got an iced caramel latte, and it was indeed the best latte I've had! LaGrange Coffee Roasters is very spacious with a good amount of seating, and has a very calming feel to it. I think it would be a great place to study/do work or meet up with friends! The baristas are so kind and welcoming, and the drinks they create are top notch. If coffee isn't your thing - no worries! They also have several drinks that aren't coffee based. You can also purchase bags of coffee beans, which they roast in house, or bags of tea. I'm so so glad my husband had tried this place and told me about how good it was. I can now say that I would drive to LaGrange just to get a latte from here! read more

Was there during the LaGrange festival and very impressed on how clean it is. Met one of the owners, Lea and talked about her values and how she enjoyed seeing her customers every day! The shop has plenty of tables and seats plus they have music once a week too! I always support local businesses and if I lived here I would be here every day! It's been a while since I've updated my review so I thought I should today. The quality of their product and the service has not changed in the years I have been coming here. The coffee has a great flavor and is always fresh since they roast their beans in house. I had a Carmel Latte today and it was really good. They were very busy this morning which must mean that folks like this place as much as I do. My only complaint is the music they played. It was irritating. This cozy and quaint coffee shop sits in the heart of La Grange...reminds me of a TV set coffee shop. The all glass store front allows for train watching as they go down the tracks through the center of town. Inside there are couches, chairs, tables, and a bookshelf full of board games inviting you to sit and stay a while. As for the coffee, I had a small Cuban coffee with a pump of vanilla and a cheddar bacon scone. Both were fantastic and for half the price of the big chain coffee shops. The Cuban coffee was great and just what I needed to get my morning started. The cheddar bacon scone had the perfect mix of crispy outside and soft/flakey inside. If you need to work remotely or get homework done (if you're a student), they have free WiFi...just ask at the counter. Honestly, this is easily my new favorite coffee shop that my quickly become my office away from home. read more

I've be frequenting this town for over 40 years now and seeing that they now have a top-shelf level coffee house, it makes me sooo happy!! This place is great. The feel of the historic district of La Grange is great in itself...excellent location for a coffee shop.
