I decided to give your shop another chance and I brought 3 of my friends in to be fair. We love your shop, but all of us agreed that your coffee really is not good. Two of us had espresso drinks and two of us had regular coffees. We all looked at each other and just shook our heads. I'm sorry but it's just not very good. My uncle told me he bought a pound of beans and took it home to brew it. He's very particular about his coffee, but he said it was undrinkable and tossed the bag. Again, sorry, but something is definitely not the same. read more

The cashier lady had very long hair that wasn't tied back...wasn't an issue until she went back to make my sandwich. At that time she kept flipping her hair out of her face and I then noticed she didn't wear gloves the entire time! Yuck! I should have said something at the time but was so shocked I couldn't. read more

Love this cute little shop!! I stop by anytime I'm in town! Lots of choices for food and coffee and never disappoints. I typically get the grilled cheese sandwiches but have tried many. The boutique has lots of cute local options and perfect gifts. I highly recommend anything here! The service is always great too! read more

There's a nice chill vibe in here. Cute boutique things for purchase. My matcha had potential. I got the blackberry which had a great flavor it was just way too sweet for my liking. It's been a hot minute since I visiting Brick + Mortar. Located in Simpsonville Brick + Mortar serves up some of the best coffees and has the biggest scones I've ever seen. And they beat those chain stores that just look pretty and taste like flour. They're actually beautiful and delicious. If you need a unique gift they have lots of goodies you can purchase. The honey lavender latte wasn't on the menu; but, I decided to go with the Dirty Chai. Yummy!!!! It went perfectly with the cranberry dark chocolate scone with vanilla drizzle that I had to take home. They're that big. I was recently introduced to Brick+Mortar while working a wedding, and I immediately fell in love. I was given an iced coffee that was bold, flavorful, and seriously hit the spot. I have since been to the store 3 times in the past 10 days. They serve a gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip and a coconut bread that are to die for. They're great cold, and served warm they're next level AH-MAZING. I'm excited to see what other gluten free offerings will be available as seasons change. Their drink selection is quite broad, so there really is something for everyone here. So far I've tried their current selection of seasonal hot drinks: Lumberjack, Oatmeal, Maple Bourbon, Pumpkin Pie. I'm unsure as to which flavor is my favorite. They're excellent with oat milk, I haven't purchased any gifts from the boutique, but they have a great selection. I would love for them to open another location or two! It's a great coffee shop! read more

When I first came to this coffee shop, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical. I had heard great things about the coffee, but I wasn't sure if it could really live up to the hype. But from the first sip, I was hooked. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the employees were so friendly. I will keep coming back here because it's such a great place to relax and unwind. Great, Local Coffee House, offering unique Seasonal Flavors. They have nice seating areas, both inside and out. Plus they offer Ice Cream for your non-caffeinated sweet tooth. Highly recommend the Lumberjack Latte, in the fall. Great place to fuel up on your way to the outlets. read more

This little shop is a hidden gem! I went in and got a caramel oat milk latte and some pumpkin bread and both were AMAZING. I didn't know what to expect since a lot of coffee shops in small towns don't have the best coffee but it was great! Also, such a cute little shop with a bunch of goodies from local creatives. I will NEVER go to a Pilot gas station again! I stopped to fill up my car during a work trip (cost…read more$27) and they put a $151 hold on my bank account. At first, I thought it was fraud, but my bank confirmed (and later so did Pilot when I called their corporate office) that they do this as a standard procedure for all gas pumping transactions. Pilot said it usually falls off before the customer even notices the $151 hold. Well, 5 days later, I still have the $151 hold on my account. So my little $27 charge cleared the very next day but they are still holding my $151. When I called Pilot they said they could not even open an investigation until at least 5 days had passed. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!
