Dr.Scott Earle was incredibly thorough during the exam and took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and all of my questions were answered with care and patience. You can tell they genuinely care about your eye health, not just getting you in and out. They also have a great selection of frames. I usually go to Costco to buy my frames. Christina helped me pick out a pair that I love--without being pushy. Whether you need a routine exam or new glasses, this is the place to go. The folks here were nice and informative. Though I wouldn't recommend the new (older women) working on the floor who helps with fittings. She said she was new to the job,just moved across the street and you could tell! She literally told me that the pair of glasses I was looking at, looked like "pedo glasses", then proceeded to tell me that she "wakes and bakes" every morning with her bong to deal with that place. I also witnessed her talking back to a gentleman who just told her that he was 90!! The old man just wanted a different case for his glasses and she scoffed at him and started walking away talking sh*t about him. Idk it wasn't a very good first impression and she made me feel super uncomfortable talking to her. I won't return but I would recommend (as long as they can get past..whatever she is). With that said, all other staff were very friendly and professional. The lady working on the floor just weirded me out. read more

The doctor is very nice. Both my mom and I enjoyed our visits with him. Besides the actual visit with him, anything else is inconvenient and frustrating. Trying to get in contact with the office, never having calls returned, ordering contact lenses, everything coming in late. Very frustrating. We had just changed eye doctors due to our old one retiring whom we loved. We will be changing eye doctors once our issues are resolved. read more

We find reviews to be very helpful when making purchases and especially when it becomes necessary to visit a professional such as a doctor. Of course, you are relying on reviews being candid and objective; that's what makes them useful. But they are only useful if the reviewer posts them with a sense of responsibility for those relying on them in the future. Especially when it comes to a doctor and in this instance, a doctor who cares for your vision. It doesn't get much more important when it comes to regular care. So reviews, often the negative ones, should be viewed carefully and discounted if there is no established pattern to support the negative comments. That being said, we have been going to Dr. Earle for years. We initially found him through our vision insurance plans at work but upon retirement a few years ago, when our vision insurance was reduced, we remained with Dr. Earle because he is hands down the most professional and caring eye doctor my wife and I have ever visited. I can say that with a great deal of experience, having suffered a serious eye injury in my early 20's requiring several surgeries, including retinal, and a lifetime of close monitoring and care. Dr. Earle is also very responsive and in fact it was yesterday's unscheduled visit that prompted me to write this review. One of my eyes was feeling scratchy and the vision in that eye (I wear contacts) was blurry. I called Dr. Earle and he saw me within a hour. He gave my eyes a thorough exam, ruled out any medical problems and determined it was a contact issue. I left with a new prescription, clear vision and a huge sense of relief. Last year my wife had a problem with something small in her eye causing a great deal of discomfort and he saw her the same afternoon and removed the problem. In addition to sensing that he a super nice person, you immediately get the feeling that you and your eye health is Dr. Earle's primary concern. During every one of our numerous visits to Dr. Earle, he has spent whatever time was necessary to provide proper care and answer any questions that we had. He is thorough in his exams and in his answers to our questions. Incidentally, we moved since first going to Dr. Earle. We now drive an hour to see him. We would drive five hours to see him if necessary. We have referred two other members of our family to him and they feel the same way about him as we do. It is truly comforting to know that our vision is in the caring and competent hands of Dr. Earle. read more

I have had Dr. Earle as my primary eye care doctor for several years and he has been the best with contact lens fittings, better than any other doctor I have used. I had what I thought to be a minor problem with my eye, and he searched for 45 minutes to an hour and fount a retinal tear. He did not quit and found the problem and saved my eyesight. The second save was when he diagnosed a macular hole 2 weeks before the specialist could see it with laser tomography. Save number two! He has always explained in detail about any questions I've had about my eyesight and has been available, even at quite short notice to see me. I have and will always recommend Dr. Earle to anyone I know. read more

I really liked Dr Earle - he was professional and thorough. Gave me several types of contacts to try - free of charge by the way - to make sure I would get a lens that was comfortable for long-term daily use. And his staff made sure that I was able to get a substantial rebate on a year's supply of contacts - I wouldn't have even been aware of the rebate otherwise. I've been wearing glasses for 40 years, have had two corneal ulcers, and am legally blind so I've been going to eye doctors my whole life. The service I received here was top-notch and comparablle to what I've gotten in major cities like Washington DC and Chicago. I was disappointed to see a bad review of this Dr but I guess you can't please everyone. I just had to add my review of my experience at this office in case anyone has an doubts about Dr. Earle. read more

I've been coming here for almost 6 years and I've never had a bad experience. I first came here because I woke up with a swollen red eye and I loked for someone close to my office. He saw me right away and he was able to give me medecine that cleared up the incection. I really liked that he gave me the medical information on what was wrong and also told me in lay terms. I have been going to eye doctors for over 20 years and he is the first doctor who actually gave me medical background. When he accepted my insurance he always worked with me to get what I needed without going over my insurance allowance. He even helped me try on 30+ pairs of glasses and when I finally found 2 I wish I could have combined he opened a box that wasn't unpacked yet to find me the perfect pair. When I get new glasses he swaps the lenses in my old pairs for free. My insurance changed and he doesnt accept my new plan but he knows this and works to make it as affordable as possible. I dont know what happened when the other reviewers went, he has never tried to upsell me on anything, he does a thorough eye exam, has given me contacts if I have an emergency in the middle of the day (ripping or losing one), and all of his staff is friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Earle is a great doctor and I highky recommend him to everyone. read more
