Matt came out right away to give us a quote. We scheduled window cleaning plus a couple of screen repairs and replacements. He was always courteous but once the initial job was complete, communication ended and my texts were no longer being returned. He was unable to repair the screen on our sliding screen door and said that he would instead order a new one and install it for us and do some touch ups. May 25th I asked if he was able to get the screen ordered. He responded the next day saying that he was picking it up next Friday (June 3). June 3rd I texted to see the status of the screen. Nothing. June 22nd asked if he was able to get the screen or if I should look elsewhere. No response. July 10 I texted him telling him I was giving him one last chance to respond before I leave him a negative review. He responded immediately (9 minutes) from a different number. Apologized for lack of communication and said he could swing by Friday to do some touch ups and see if there is anything he could do with our screen door because he was unable to get the new door. July 11th he said he would call the supplier to see if there was any way to get a new door. Today is August 22nd and I have not heard a word from him. So....do yourself a favor and find a different company to handle your windows and screens. read more

I chose Laguna West Window Cleaning over several others due to the professional website quoting prices and they were the first to call me back. Unfortunately those are the only positive comments. I cannot recall who I dealt with, either Matt or Sam (there are two other people with the same names that I have spoken to in the last couple of days and I don't want to accuse the wrong person). When I spoke with them I mentioned I had 2 patio screen doors that needed new screens and one had a broken handle. He said no problem, he could order the handle and replace it. I also had several other window screens that needed new screens or had twisted frames. They missed our first appointment on a Tuesday. When I called that evening they apologized and we set another appointment for that Thursday between noon and 1 pm. When no one showed up again, I called after 1 and they said they had it down for between 1 and 2 pm. Either Matt or Sam finally came and I showed him the screens with twisted frames, It was then that he told me he could not get white frames due to a shortage and he is a small company and can't get them. He said some larger companies might have them. He went on to repair the patio door screens and two window screens upstairs. He did a so-so job as we feel the screens could be tighter but they are acceptable. When I asked about the broken handle he said that it was an older one and the the newer ones are larger and wished he had come by before to look at at. But he took a photo of it and assured me he would order the right one and come back the next Tuesday to install it. Said it would cost about $15 and he wouldn't charge me for coming back which I thought was quite reasonable. Tuesday came and no one showed up. I called a little after 5 pm (website shows they close at 6) and left a message. No one called the next day and I left another message shortly after 8. No one called again so I left a third message. Still, no one has called as of today to explain what the status of the part is which is the reason for the one star. It is unacceptable for a business person to fail to return calls to a customer even if he has to explain that he couldn't get the part or whatever reason. I do not recommend using this company and would not again. I have given up contacting them. I brought the twisted white frames to a local glass company who said they could replace them with no problem and there are no shortages they know of. I'm also hoping they have the handle I need to replace myself. read more

Matt came to clean my windows and did a good job. But the front windows had some water stains, so I made an appointment for him to come back and clean them again, for an additional fee. (I use the same product as he does for my shower. It is terrific -- this is not a hard job...you don't have to scrub.) He didn't show up. After half an hour, I texted to ask whether he was going to make it. He never replied. This is not professional behavior. If you have decided you don't want a job, be an adult and simply say so. Matt cleaned all windows (inside and outside plus all the screens) power washed my pergola, and repaired several screens that were damaged by pets over the years. NOT SURE WHAT WE DID. Had an appointment with Matt on March 19,2021 at 3pm. He showed up early at 1pm which was great. Started to work on 1 window then stopped because he said he need to go get a tool to help with the window cleaning. Window looked awesome super clear. but only a third is done. Matt said he would come back the next day at 1pm. It was three o'clock the next day by the time I called him to see where he was at. He told me he got super busy with a job he had in Roseville and forgot to call me. I told him not a problem. He said he was really sorry and would definitely come to finish on Tuesday March 23rd at 8am. It was 9am when I called Matt to see where he was at. He did not answer the phone. I left a message. He did not call back. Emailed him. Still have not responded. Even text. No answer. I cant believe you ghosted us Matt. Now I have 1 window to remind me what it could have looked like. Sam is courteous. Even though I was half hour late, he understood totally due to my 2 hour drive from bay area. He even pointed out a pigeon nesting area on the roof top, and recommended pest control, and pointed out the seal broke on a couple of window and explained the window would still seem unclear even after the cleaning. Great customer service from beginning to end. My phone call was returned promptly by Andrea. She explained pricing and options (track cleaning) but didn't try to upsell. Sam showed up on time, did a quick window count to narrow down the phone estimate. At the end of the job Sam didn't add on costs although he put in extra time.
