One of the biggest advantages was how easy the appointment process was. Having a scheduled time made everything feel smooth and efficient. The clerk who assisted us was friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel welcoming rather than transactional. The setting itself was a pleasant surprise--the scenery created an atmosphere that felt much more elevated than expected and made the moment feel like a much larger wedding. It also provided a great backdrop for photos, which was important to us. All of the necessary information was clearly outlined on the website ahead of time, which made planning straightforward and stress-free. And from a value standpoint, it's hard to beat--it truly felt like a $20,000 wedding experience for just $89. Everything was organized well, which helped the day run seamlessly. There were a couple of minor drawbacks. It can get crowded, especially with multiple parties scheduled around similar times. While the website notes a maximum of 20 guests, it's possible to have more if you're outside--but that can make the space feel tight and limit photo opportunities. Overall, it's a beautiful, efficient, and cost-effective option that still delivers a memorable experience. A great choice for couples looking for something intimate without sacrificing the feeling of a special occasion.

Right before the entrance there's a QR code for the waiting area, and it's honestly a great system. Once you scan it, you can see your place in line, and when it's your turn they'll text you the window number so a friendly staff member can help you. If you need copies, filing, or to register something, it's definitely worth checking their website first and completing what you can online to save time. But if you don't have access, there are three computers available after you walk through the waiting area that you can use. I went in the afternoon during the week and it was incredibly quick; hardly anyone waiting. They accept cash or credit card, and you can always ask ahead if they take personal checks, money orders, or cashier's checks. If you call with questions beforehand, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They record everything right there in the office, and the whole process was smooth and efficient.

Sorry to say there are no trash receptacles on AV sidewalks along main AV roads…read more Runners and walkers, properly encouraged, often like to be tidy and to help pick up stray plastic bottles and cans and dump them in the trash when walking or running, but they cannot help out if there is a serious lack of trash receptacles. The neighboring City of Laguna Hills has nice trash receptacles every half mile or so, but AV has none. Obviously the trash receptacles should blend in and be unobtrusive, like the concrete containers located by the Laguna Hills bus stops. Plus the trash containers would need regular servicing (to empty trash from them - say weekly). Still, the costs involved make sense because providing trash receptacles every half mile or so tends to promote tidiness and maintenance of what is really world-class infrastructure. Not providing trash receptacles every half mile or so tends to send the wrong messages - 1) that the walkways are not really for walkers and runners, as opposed to for show, or 2) that littered infrastructure is ok with City management, or 3) that ordinary people need not help keep trash and litter off the sidewalks in that area because the City has hired or will hire someone to do that. Like AV, but need to see this issue addressed. City of LH was quick to respond, but AV could not be bothered (despite emails to the City Manager and City Council). Thankfully, focused attention via social media may help fix the problem. Having just moved from Palos Verdes to Laguna Woods (adjacent to AV), the remarkable quality of the AV roads and sidewalks is particularly noticeable to me. Hopefully, with good management, the infrastructure can remain world-class or even improve. My morning and evening runs go through AV. Sorry to say there have been numerous occasions during my runs through AV when trash dropped by others had to be left where it had fallen for want of a trash receptacle within a half mile of the dropped trash. Would like to think AV as a city would agree that providing trash receptacles every half mile along major roads in AV (roads which have been improved with world-class sidewalks), is just common sense. Otherwise trash will tend to accumulate, giving the city a prematurely run-down and depressed appearance.

When they closed that location down, we started coming to this location. The Laguna Niguel Post Office is so much better than the old Aliso location. The Laguna Niguel Post Office is located off of Alicia Parkway and Niguel Road. The parking lot is large, but can be crowded at times. Sometimes, people park against the gate due to a lack of parking spaces during busier times. The business itself is average in size. Sometimes the line extends past the P.O. boxes and it moves kind of slow. They typically have 2 people working at the front counter, but if the line is moving too slow, they'll bring out another representative to help speed things up. Customer service here is excellent! If the line slows down, the lady from the passport photo room will take customers into her office and assist them with their packages etc. They run a pretty tight ship here! I have been to several post offices in South OC and this one is my go-to location. They know all of their regular customers and it's refreshing to see that they remember your face when you come in. I've had plenty of great experiences here and I will continue to come to this location to mail packages etc.

I came in trying to locate a package that was dropped off at this location and never received by the carrier it was supposed to be handed off to. I had tracking proof showing the package was never scanned into the next carrier's system. Instead of even attempting to check the back or see if it may have been misplaced internally, I was immediately told that "UPS should have it" and that there was nothing they could do. As a business owner, I understand that mistakes and delays happen. But what was frustrating was the complete lack of effort or accountability. I wasn't expecting miracles; I was simply hoping someone would at least attempt to check or escalate the situation internally. The supervisor and another employee both seemed very nonchalant about the situation, even after I explained the urgency and showed proof that the package was never received by the next carrier. I left feeling completely dismissed rather than helped. I understand policies exist, but customer service still matters. A little effort, empathy, or willingness to investigate would have gone a long way.
