Came here for Sunday buffet. The price is good, but most of the food was mediocre or worse. They do serve hot & fresh puri which is good, but that still doesn't compensate for the lack of taste in food. Almost everything is greasy, bland and slightly bitter. Reasons for two stars is the decent nihari and the sweet lady who works there. Most regretful $$$ spent on food in recent years. I'd stick to eating desi food either at home or elsewhere. read more

Came here for Cobb Yelp Lunch 2010 #1 with Addy C, Sheila M, Jang C, Lynn E, and Mina C. I've worked in the Marietta/Cobb County area for several years and had no idea this place existed. Lahore is hidden in the Cobb International Plaza shopping center, which is located just south of Dobbins Air Force Base across from a giant cemetery. We arrived just before noon on a Thursday and the place was nearly empty, but within an hour, the restaurant got busy. Lahore is open and spacious for the most part. There are three sections with plenty of seating. The lunch buffet Tuesday-Friday is $8.99. It's more expensive on Saturday/Sunday and the place is closed on Mondays. The food itself was pretty decent. I especially liked their naan, rice, and palek paneer (spinach with cottage cheese - yeah it sounds gross, but it's actually good). Everything on the buffet seemed relatively fresh and the servers were very attentive to our table. For music and entertainment, they have a flatscreen HDTV on the wall playing various Bollywood music videos, which our table got a kick out of sometimes. My co-workers and I had been going to Swapna for our Indian lunch fix, but after visiting Lahore, I'm definitely going to bring them by here for a try. Plenty of parking as well. read more

I have been here over 20 times. I come every 1-2 weeks. First the food. Fantastic! This is my favorite place in Atlanta. The lunch buffet is good and varied. I've never been here at the weekend buffet, but i hear it's even better. You can actually take out the lunch buffet and they charge you by the lb. I first came here early 2010 and it's got busier and busier as word spreads. It's tucked away (not a ghetto) off Cobb Pkwy. portions are great, but i don't think i ordered the best items the first time i went. the butter chicken was ok, but was kinda on the heavy side. the goat korma was not the best i had. i've had them when they catered events and the food was a lot better then. on my second trip, i ordered a chicken kabob roll that was good and so filling. i wish it came with more raita/chutney. i can't believe i ate the whole thing. i also had boneless chicken tikka, which is my favorite item here so far. i'll try our their other items and see if there is anything i like more. read more

One of the best food ever I had in atlanta in recent times.. Talking about Indian or pakistani foods.. Love the dishes and its filling is also good.. Unlike other restaurants these guys serves good.. Altogether for affordable price, sad that I been here now only since I came to US.. Anyways looking forward to going back moe often.. Went here only once because my husband was craving some Lahori charga. The atmosphere is sucky and depressing, the place was empty on a weekend night. The tables were unclean and the food was below average. Our charga was so dry and had no flavor. They should change their name because they're really ruining Pakistan's reputation and are in no way representing our food. read more

The best biryani in Atlanta, hands down. The taste, quality and quantity beats anything i have tasted even back in Delhi. Both chicken and mutton biryani's are fantastic. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for authentic briyani. I have even ordered for groups and their catering quality is also great. The price is very reasonable and the owners help you estimate the quantity you should order. You just need to tell them the dishes you want and the number of guests. They will prepare accordingly which is pretty close to what you actually need without fear of food getting wasted or you overspending. read more

The lunch buffet here is awesomesauce. I've never done anything besides the lunch, so ymmv. Be warned: the food is pretty hot for the weak-tongued. If you're used to heat, then it'll be nothing to worry about. I absolutely LOVE this buffet. The location is a little out-of-the-way for my purposes, but it's worth it. This is really the worst Indian restaurant I have ever had. My Indian friends were pissed off and really disappointed. The vegetarian and non vegetarian food and even the Naan were equally bad. Chicken Tikka was so dry and best food was literally the plain rice. Especially the pani puri, it's really beyond imagination bad. This place is plain looking. The lamb tikka was cooked to perfection. I also had chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken leg both of which were average. The mutton korma was tasty. The quality has gone down. The buffet is definitely not good unless all you care about is cheap. Watch out if you order your korma after buffet time, guess what you are getting. The same!!! Its hard to decide on a place when there is so much good and bad written about the place. I'll be honest, I love Indian/Paki food, and have had my share of the cuisine nationwide. Lahore has an excellent buffet for $6.99 and they stay true to their flavors. I mean thats an awesome deal for a "Indian/Paki" Buffet. Paki/Indian food in general is "spicy" it just doesn't taste good any other way, so if you want something Super mild, don't waste you money or time, you won't like this place. But you want some authentic Paki food, I definitely recommend going for the Lunch Buffet first so you can try alot of different dishes for dirt cheap, then you can decide if you wanna go back for dinner. Yes its decor needs work, and the place seems empty, but lets get honest some of the best food ever comes from "Hole in the Wall" places. I love the boneless chicken tikka masala and my husband loves the goat and lamb dishes. Great quality for the price! We come back at least once a week to get our fixes! Way too greasy. No taste in the food, it's just pure oil. My chicken was swimming in oil. I poured out about 3/4 cup of oil. Will not be back/I want relatively unclogged arteries, and this restaurant gets in the way of it. read more

I wish I didn't have to give this place any stars. Sat and waited 30 min for my "to go" Palak paneer. All they did was scoop up the food I ordered from the buffet line after telling me it would be made fresh. After I confronted them, they reassured me it was fresh. Good place for authentic Pakistani food in the Atlanta area. Hard to find food like this in the Atlanta area because most Desi restaurants are actually Indian food and believe it or not their is a big difference. Good buffet, decent prices, and very good service. Kebabs are my only complaint and the naan are just average. Haleem is excellent, even though it is Chicken Haleem. Most other dishes are good as well. Been here twice and will definitely recommend. Nice big restaurant as well, plenty of space. read more

I am not sure about all the rave reviews. Having been to many Indo-pak buffets before the quality was exceptionally horrible. Not tried their menu but the buffet seemed stale microwaved food. Host was lacking any decent customer service. Needless to say never going there again. read more

This is a great buffet and is especially good on the weekend. The rice and curries are great and the nihari is a must have if they make it that day. A friend of mine showed me that the best way to eat it is with lemon on top and the naan bread. read more

Excellent food. This is probably the best Indo/Pakistani restaurant I've been to. I've tried the lunch buffet, which was awesome, but I come here more often for the regular dinner menu - I've had the samosa, palak paneer (my absolute absolute favorite! The spinach is so fresh and the entire dish is just so savory - I drool every time I think about it), Lahore boneless chicken and tikka masala. Of course the naan (garlic) is also very tasty and crispy! Love the food. There is no reason why this place has less than 4 stars. It should be a 5 given its price range too! read more
