When I realized that I needed the assistance and expertise of home health aides for my parents, my friends cautioned me to be patient and persistent because I'd probably go through many before I would find one or two that were suitable. Well, this sounded terrible, so I kept asking for recommendations of a company to go through. All I kept getting were "Don't use ___(name of company)______." Until a dear friend said, "You'll want to call Living Life Home Care. It's the company that the hospice people pointed me to, off the record." So I called Mike at Living Life, and the rest is history. The social worker who came to meet with us listened deeply to our needs and discerned the personalities of my parents. The first caregiver they matched us with for my mom, T (using her initial for privacy) was perfect from the start. She knew how to handle the physical needs of my mom, who had just entered hospice at home -- but she also knew how to handle her temper tirades with gentleness and care, all while being highly professional. T was with mom for about 9 months, up to the day she passed away. Then she transitioned to caring for dad and has been doing so for the past 8 months. My parents' needs changed over time due to illness and infirmity, and T knew how to adapt and assist all of us through those changes. When my dad was ill last year for an extended period (while mom was still alive and with T), I called Mike with emergency needs and he was able to meet them even though they were quite immediate and required long shifts. He paired us with L, a male aide, who was also perfect for my dad's personality and needs. L was also so amazing with dad -- tending to his physical needs, and made dad feel safe and secure. And now that T is on vacation for three weeks, we were again gifted with R, who has such a different personality than T -- and yet my dad has transitioned so seamlessly to her care. At the end of mom's life when she was in and out of a hospice care facility, Mike again came through to meet our immediate and urgent ramped-up staffing needs. The nursing oversight and support that Kathy provides is incredible. She was able to discern subtle changes in health status to provide feedback, and to help the health aides (I'm presuming) anticipate and implement changes to care. She does all of this with attention to saving us from needless/extra work and energy expenditure. She is also amazing. I don't know how they all do it -- but they do it with such kindness, care, attention, and compassion. I don't know what else I could ask for.

I was a client of Armatage for four months. During that time, staff only showed up about half the…read moretime, and half of those staff members that they sent out would just sit on their phones most of the time and do the absolute bare minimum. I did not have a choice between male or female staff. When staff couldn't make out, they would either notify me right when the shift would start or they would call hours after the shift was supposed to start. Their schedule is also very inflexible. They work (or not lol) only in four hour shifts, either from 8am - noon or 1 pm - 5pm. And their staff use a GPS-based app so they'll try to stick around until their shift is up. We picked this place because it's beautiful and everyone working there is very nice. They have nice amenities and mom could be social and meet some nice residence. It is a very expensive place but because mom wouldn't have to move as her needs changed we thought it would be best. She lived at Eagle Point for just over 2 years on a month to month lease and my mom passed away on 4/8/2026. They had her money for rent for the month of April and level 2 assisted living. Since they did not provide care for most of April we were expecting a refund for assisted living portion and was told we would be receiving it. But they took rent out of the refund for May until the 8th. Instead of getting over a thousand back we got just over $200. Just want anyone moving there to beware of this. Also thinking she would not have to move even if she ran out of money was not true. Your put on a waiting list and if there is not a studio available you have to leave. At over $5k a month to live there paying her own way over 2 years we had that worry. CNA were very nice but they did go through a lot of new ones in the 2 years. If it weren't for Hospice care coming in addition the Eagle Point staff, mom would not have had the care she needed in her last couple months. CNA's at Eagle Point do not have a good leader and they do not have enough of them. They are over worked and frequently need to rush to another resident feeling like they couldn't provide the care they wanted to give. I know options for this type of living are not good. If we could have found a place for mom to have in house care we would have done that towards her last months.

Babe assured me on the phone that Foxtail would figure out a way to do the job on time for us and they somehow squeezed it into their schedule. They were professional and up front about costs. I was so impressed with their willingness to work with us even though it was obvious they had a busy schedule. Babe and Brian maintained excellent communication through the entire process. They could have easily have taken advantage of our difficult situation but clearly chose not to. This company had integrity and strong values that I came to trust. I am happy to recommend them.

We have been to 5 different facilities and worked with more than 10 PT's. We did not find a home until we went to Step Therapies. We live in Albertville and there are plenty of options along the 38 mile trek but it is worth passing them all up.... just as Step Therapies has.

First you park in the parking lot and there's 3 reserved parking spots specifically for their patients. Then you enter through the back of the building that's not actually on the street side. I had walked all the way around but I wish this building had more signage on where things are as there are multiple businesses in the building. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the service and has helped a lot with my back pain and shoulder impingement due to the nature of my job of lifting patients all the time (occupational therapist). Otherwise, I'll be coming back here in the future.
