absolutely love APT 4B…read more The decor alone is worth the visit--it has this beautiful, nostalgic feel with the Jet Magazine-inspired aesthetic that's both cultural and elevated. It feels curated, warm, and intentional without trying too hard. As for the food, my favorites are the oxtail hummus and the seafood curry bowl. Both are full of flavor and always hit. You can tell there's real creativity behind the menu, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. The overall vibe, from the design to the food, makes it a place I genuinely enjoy returning to. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

We tried calling ahead, but no one answered; fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so our tardiness wasn't an issue. There was a DJ playing a nice mix of hip hop and R&B, which set a great vibe. We weren't immediately greeted since no one was at the hostess stand, but someone from the kitchen noticed us right away and seated us. They offered a $28 "Girl Brunch" with a choice of cornbread or deviled eggs, plus either jerk chicken fried rice or croissant French toast with blueberry compote, along with a lemon drop. I chose the deviled eggs and croissant French toast and gave the lemon drop to my friend, opting for a mocktail instead. My friend ordered the cornbread and steak and eggs. We both enjoyed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the croissant French toast, and the mocktail was just as good as any cocktail.

I can confidently add La Difference to my list of go to Haitian restaurants. The fact that it is…read morealso a bakery led to the five star rating. The food quality and quantity also are contributing factors. The artwork throughout including history pieces on the origin of the Haitian flag, and a prominent display of leadership which included my great, great, great, grandfather brought joy to my heart! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal which consisted of kabrit (goat), Djon Djon rice, green plantain and salad. I did request extra pikliz and gravy, as the gravy doubles as my salad dressing due to the rich flavor. The ample portions allowed for two additional meals, which were equally delicious as the seasoning marinated additionally. Everything was fresh. The rolls I purchased were soft to the touch and I was assured that they were baked that day after inquiring. They reminded me of my father, also of Haitian descent, and the bakery in South Florida near parent's retirement community. My dad would take me there and we would get fresh Haitian bread and rolls. Truly, one of the best nostalgic moments with the reminder of him and the delicious food. The location provided ample parking, and was not crowded when I first arrived. I placed my order after looking at all the offerings, including jams and other Haitian baked goods. Although I was assured that my food would be ready in about 15 minutes, it was closer to 30. Several people came in after me picking up large orders. My order taker acknowledged that my food would be ready soon, and I appreciated that. Thankfully, I was not in a rush. Do keep that in mind when visiting, and ordering in advance may be an option. I will definitely return to try my other favorites, including griot (despite limiting pork intake...smh) and legume. Truly pleased to find a great Haitian restaurant in Gwinnett. Shout out to the Tik Tok person who brought it to my attention in her post!

I got the chicken, white rice & beans (it's mostly just the soup) lunch plate for $32 including drink but it's sooooo worth it. If you ain't sweating inside a Caribbean spot, it ain't authentic lmao. I absolutely LOVE pikliz, $1 extra for 2 more but shit, i stuffed my face right then & there. This ain't a plate you take home, gotta eat it FRESH! Definitely 1 of my go-to spots.

This is a Haitian or creole restaurant and boy have I been missing this yummy food since I have left South FloridA! The food was amazing!! You can see the old-school people in the back cooking and making your food to order. I had fried turkey with rice and beans which you can get on the light lunch special for 899. However there was a bit of disconnect which was the loss of the star in language barrier from the young lady at the cashier. Additionally on top of the language barrier you could tell she got a little frustrated so if you order be sure to point to it on the menu also so there's no confusion. I said rice and beans the first time she gave me white rice then I said lunch and she gave me the dinner. And that point I just paid for it and kept it moving but it was worth it all at the end when I tasted the food because it was definitely off the chain!! I definitely recommend you make it part of your repertoire if you're in the area Because I'm sure I'll be going at least once a week! Love supporting small business owners and even more so yummy food for a great value!

I'm a music person, and I didn't hear any Caribbean music playing. So that was new... My niece and I ordered the brown stew chicken, which came with rice and peas and plantains. It was pretty flavorful. I guess with prices skyrocketing, it's the new norm to pay $21 for brown stew chicken?! That's pretty high to me... especially since I didn't get any cabbage and the chicken pieces we received were all chicken backs... . Not even a leg . Overall the service was ok. Like I said, we just finished an event so the line was pretty long. I probably wouldn't return because I don't feel like the price was worth it.

I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken, Chicken Pattie, cabbage, and plantains. It took them about 5 minutes to make my meal even since it is cafeteria style. I came early at night so the lounge next door was not busy. The Chicken Pattie was decent but needed sauce. The cabbage was good but had a ton of water. Plantains were decent and semi sweet. The Brown Stew Chicken is the star of this meal and was good. They gave a lot of chicken which was tender but there was also a ton of bones.
