Pretty park that offers a little something for everyone. Playground, dog park, walking/running/biking trail, scenic lake front views. Along some portions there are coffee shops and businesses. There are also comfortable locations in which you can just stop and admire the views. I thoroughly enjoyed walking along the lake and would recommend it for outdoor exercise. read more

Lake Baldwin is the KING of all dog parks. Pros: - spacious - dog showers - bathrooms - drinking fountain for both humans and dogs - picnic area with tables - lost and found area - scheduled maintenance - 2.5mile circumference for walking - beautiful scenery Cons: - muddy! But that's a given because of the lake - people smoke here and leave their cigarettes on the ground. By far the best dog park in Orlando! Plenty of shade and seating, it's right on the water and the dogs can run freely without getting out. There are also some decent sized nature trails that are also fenced in. There are bag station if you've forgotten your own and a dog washing station after your furry friends have rolled in the dirt. I've been coming here every Saturday for 4 years and have only really witnessed one dog fight, but the owners jumped in immediately and nobody (dog or human) was hurt. If you look closely you'll find carvings in some of the trees done by one of the parks regulars :) definitely one of my favorite places in Orlando! read more

This park has great bike trails, dog parks, and places to relax and enjoy being outside. The dog park is pretty and haven't explored it all but there are off leash dogs everywhere. They come up to you randomly so be prepared to be sniffed! They also have a puppy area that is small but big enough to roam and have fun too. There is also an area where your dog's can go in the water too. Definitely a great park to visit! read more

Great big space for your dog to run off leash & into the lake, but beware, the "sand" is muddy, stinks, & the water could have bacteria esp in the warm months like now. The city website has a warning of outbreaks of Lepto & Canine Influenza, i would never take a puppy there even with shots. What i love: free parking, free pet wash area, just bring your own shampoo & towels. I highly recommend washing your dog thoroughly after playing in this park, even if they don't go in the warm, yes I'm a germ freak but my dog also sleeps with me so she got a good scrub down. Open sunrise to dusk. Watch your dog, even with a double gate dogs get out when people don't pay attention, slow down when you drive in, around the area! Glad there's a place to bring my dog but she still loves the ocean best! Bathrooms were fine, working, had TP, but dogs not allowed. I gave it only 4 stars as it would be helpful if the would test it & post reports at least weekly so owners can make good choices if they want their dog in the water. read more

Good location and very nice area for kids, dogs, and boats. My kids came here with the anticipation of the playground. My son and daughter both love slides but there is only one. It's a tall one though, so my 3 year old daughter had to drag me to help her up the slide. There is a enclosed dog park. Which is awesome if you want your dog to meet other dogs. There is also a bathroom for men and women. As well as a shower area for dogs after they are done playing in the sand, water, and grass. There's a prairie path near the park so you can have a break after a run our bike ride to freshen up and look at the beautiful scenery. read more

This has been my go to place to meet family or friends to go for a walk . It's a lovely paved 2.5 miles around the lake . There are multiple places to park but I would avoid parking in downtown Baldwin . My favorite place to park is either at the dog park or the veterans memorial park . On a couple occasions I have seen rabbits and even a bald eagle high up in the trees . After the walk you can have lunch or dinner at one of many Baldwin park establishments . read more

5 Stars for a park that has something for everyone. It's a haven for runners, cyclists, dog owners, romantics, and photographers alike and it's right in the center of Baldwin Park. I used to live just off of the trail around Lake Baldwin and can say that this park is one of the main amenities that makes the homes so valuable in the area. The park spans over 23 acres around the lake and is pretty diverse with a walking/biking/roller blading trail around the lake, a scenic dock and small field, a great little dog park, and a sandy beach. The path is wide enough for the runners and cyclists to pass each other and there's plenty of grass on either side to stop and stretch on one of the many benches. It's a great trail and it leads to restaurants and a relaxing park at one end and a busy dog park at the other. Speaking of the dog park, I've gone with friends and their pups and it's been pretty darn fun. The dog park goes down into the beach so the retrievers have a freaking blast! One thing to note is that there are muddy parts and your dog will get messy. Be ready with towels for after you've hosed them down. Other then a kid's playground, this park has it all. And it's kept up beautifully so don't be surprised if you see engagement photo shoots going on at the dock! read more

There is a small dog area now!! Not many people take advantage but it's great for small pups to spend either the entire time in or if they need a break from the big pups. It doesn't have much going on in it but so happy there is a separate part, fenced in for the little pups. The dog wash area is larger now too which is awesome. An awesome and unique puppy park on the lake. Lake Baldwin Park is one of the best dog parks I have ever visited. While other dog parks may be bigger or stay better maintained, Lake Baldwin Park in unique in the features it offers for dogs. Whether it is the awesome beach, washing station, or proximity to walking paths and the rest of the Baldwin Park community, Lake Baldwin Park is top notch. Lake Baldwin Park is located on the northwest corner of Lake Baldwin off Lakemont Avenue. While the parking area isn't a fully-paved lot, there are plenty of parking spaces and entrances into the park. Once you arrive, you hop out of the car with your dog, go through one of the double gates, and let your dog off the leash to run wild. If you have a smaller or more timid dog, you also have the option of taking him or her into a small dog area or to one of the farther ends of the park to get away from everyone. Once you are in the park, there is plenty to do. Any time I've gone with my wife and dog, the first thing we do is go check out the picnic area and the washing area. While they are usually occupied (and occasionally occupied by some weird people), we often run into some of the less energetic dogs for preliminary interaction. We then follow our pup around as he explores the park and makes his way down to the beach. The nice thing about this park is most of the high energy dogs are down near or in the water. This not only gives them something to do to get rid of energy, but also minimizes any fighting among the dogs. Most of the dogs my dog has met at this park has been decently well-trained and not ultra-aggressive, so he has been able to have fun without dealing with the crazy fights you might see at other similar parks. Overall, Lake Baldwin Park is a big beautiful park with a fun beach, fun people, and nice people from around the Baldwin Park area. If you are looking for a place to take your dog to get socialized, then I'd highly recommend checking this park out. read more

I live about 4 houses away from Lake Baldwin and the trail surrounding it. Something to understand is that the residents of Baldwin Park pay an additional CDD (Community Development District) fee, on top of their taxes, to maintain this area, and the other lakes and parks in Baldwin Park. You might see a sign that says this park is maintained by the CDD. This fee can average from $1000 to $1300 per year, for each home owner, depending on the part of Baldwin Park you live in. Being the open neighborhood BP is, and why I enjoy it, is that anyone can enjoy the trail and its wildlife preserve. I regularly see persons and groups parking along the park, or biking or jogging in, to engage in their activities. I personally use the trail for my training runs, to inline skate, bike or just take a walk to get something to eat at BP village. My dog loves it for the smells, and to roll her body in something stinky. I have to say that since living near this park, I have seem more natural diversity than anywhere I've lived in Florida. There are various turtles, birds, snakes, rabbits and even a family of otters, all living in and around Lake Baldwin Park. There was even an alligator in an adjacent pond (Lake Shea). One thing the park sorely needs though, is more shade trees. For some reason, the trees it does have seem to have a stunted growth issue. I have lived here for about 4 years, and my house's tree has probably grown about 4 times as fast as other similar trees around Lake Baldwin's trail. I'm not sure what's going on there. I can see big huge shade trees bringing more people to the park during the day, especially during hot sunny days. Lake Baldwin Park has Lake Baldwin Trail surrounding it, that connects to the Cady Way Trail on the East by Baldwin Park St, and again to the South by Lake Baldwin Ln. And there is Blue Jacket Park to the West, connected to it as well. read more

This is by far the best dog park I have been to in Central Florida. It's spacious, waterfront and perfect for energetic dogs who need some leg room. I used to take my lab and golden retriever (both about 10 months) there regularly. It was the perfect place for them to wear off their excess energy. Being lakefront is great for dogs who enjoy playing in the water. There is a wooded section where you can walk the trails with your dog or an enormous open section for free play. And the best part, they also have a doggie bath everyone can use on their way out. The people who frequent the park are extremely friendly as are most of the dogs. For those of you with smaller dogs, take heed there is no separate section for small dogs. It is the perfect playground for dogs of all sizes. read more

I'm a grizzled vet of the Central Florida Dog Park circuit. I've been to almost every dog park within a 20-mile radius of downtown Orlando and I would have to say that this is definitely one of the most fun for our pup and possibly the largest. There's no shortage of stuff for your dog to do, whether it be playing with other dogs, exploring, or splashing around in the lake. As fun and freewheeling as most reviews here sound, there are some important things that need to be considered before bringing your dog here. -If your dog is going to go in the lake, she/he will get filthy. There's a washing station, but it is surrounded by dirt, so if you wash there you might want to consider carrying your dog out (if possible). Definitely pack a towel or something for your car. -The water is pretty gross. I've seen dogs poop in it! Most people don't go in the water. -The "beach sand" is really more like dirt. Near the shore, it will clump to your shoes more than actual beach sand and is not as firm. -At the far left edge of the shore, there's a wooded area that your dog may run into. It's sealed off at the outside edge, but if your recall is bad you don't want to have to chase your dog through it. If you start off on the opposite side, your dog will likely never make it over there. -There is NO small dog area and NO timeout area. If your dog absolutely needs either of these, you may want to reconsider your visit. There are plenty of large dogs that are brought here and they may run over smaller dogs unintentionally. -There is the leash requirement for weekends and holidays (prime dog park time) though it's mostly ignored. I've never seen it enforced, but if you go there and see that everyone else has their dogs on leashes, then follow suit. -The parking is usually ample, with the lot entrance on the right (south) and exit on the left (north). It's a good idea to keep your dog leashed here (and every open space!) because the road running through it curves and it may be difficult to see or avoid a loose dog. I don't [currently] own a pup but I like coming here because I think it is such a cool park. It is nice that dog owners have a great place to bring their four-legged babies to allow them to run around and be social with other animals or go for a swim. There is also a dog bath station and restrooms (for people...lol...I know what you were thinking!). In addition, there is a small playground with slides, swings, etc. What I enjoy most is just sitting near the boat dock on the lake and watching the wild life. Just good ol' fashion bird/duck watching, fish watching (if you look closely you can see the schools of tiny fish) and squirrel watching. People feed the squirrels so that are those few that will come up to you looking for food. Once we had one get brave enough to get right on the table and wait. The rest just followed the leader and kept making their way closer and closer. Each time we'd shooh them away but about 5 minutes later, the bravest of them all would return to the table top. If you're looking for a huge, fenced in, water sport, nature trails, awesome dog park, then look no further! We LOVE this park and come 1-2 times per week, even though it is a bit of a drive for us. Every time we've come there have been plenty of furry friends who love to wrestle, chase, Play rough and get dirty! If you're the type that doesn't like dogs jumping on you or getting dirty then this probably isn't the park for you. If you're the type of person who keeps your dog on a leash while at a dog park then this is also NOT the place for you. By putting your dog on a leash you are putting their lives AND yours in danger; there is a thing called "barrier frustration" or "leash frustration" that I have personally seen it cause many dog fights. Also, if you're the type to pick your dog up & carry it, NOT the place for you, as this also can cause very dangerous dog fights. This park is HUGE so if you're worried about either of these or possibly losing your dog I'd suggest sticking to a smaller dog park. Most pet parents here are super on top of it as far as maintaining cleanliness & safety, which I love! And so many people are understanding & nice when it comes to the special case dogs, like my own who tends to go back to his herding corgi roots & bark a lot. Our corgi, instinctively knows when we're approaching Lake Baldwin Park (Formally Fleet Peeples Park). His head will pop in and out of both windows, he'll start to drool, and I swear he grins at us. He can hardly wait to hop out of our car. He'll hit his regular pee spot just before the double gates. He'll then give us one anxious and excited poop before running off like his tail is on fire toward the water and all the butts he can sniff. THE DOG BEACH OR IS THAT DROOL ON MY LEG OR.....?: This is a off leash park, so if your squeamish about dogs jumping on you, getting muddy and drooled on, you may want to hang back or pick an on leash park. This is also a very social place for dogs, so if you have a shy one or dog that doesn't like company-again you may want to stay away from the water or pick another park or stick to just outside the fence near the dock. Most owners watch their dogs and everyone is pretty responsible about breaking up overly excited dogs that get to rowdy. If its a hot or windy day you may smell the pop emanating from the covered trash bins, but just move and it shouldn't be a problem...why wouldn't you move? o_O I suggest wearing shorts you don't mind getting dirty and flip flops. The sand near the water gets a little muddy and your shoes will get stuck. We usually don't have a problem running ankle deep into the water with our pup but I wouldn't go any farther as depending on the season there could be a ton of crazy bacteria in the water. It's generally not for swimming regardless since it's a giant toilet for the dogs. There are plastic chairs people have bought, and cement seating in certain areas. If you want to bring your own you can, just note it will get sandy/muddy and possibly peed on. The park has a few entrances, the two and the main parking area, one near the playground, and another through the woods that takes you around Lake Baldwin-this is the only one that doesn't have a fence or door, so just keep an eye on your dog and make sure he doesn't follow little red riding hood into the woods. THE PARK OR WHERE THE HAIRLESS KIDS PLAY: The park offers restrooms, plenty of doggy bags, a community board where people post up lost and found, animal or community related events and even collars and tags left behind. There is also a little book nook where people have donated books for others to take, which is very very awesome! You'll also find a bathing station connected to the restrooms where you can stand your dogs and rinse them off or give them a full bath. There are also water fountains, they're a little gross, so I just bring my own water. Just outside the park is a boat dock, a lot of grassy space for training, and a playground for the little or not so little kids. If you want to take a walk around Lake Baldwin just follow the path around, you can bring your bike, skates, or just jog around-if you're slow it can take an hour or less but it's a great view. My pup was definitely tired after the walk. This park as a nice community following and everyone tries to keep it clean for the next person. You'll also find beautiful pieces of art carved into the trees. It's fun to search for them all over the park! This is one of the best dog parks in the state and I arguably the country. I must say, this is a great park for dogs who love to swim and dogs who come when called. For dogs who do not meet this description, look elsewhere (perhaps Downey Park off of 50 and Dean). There is a huge wooded area where dogs can easily run off and get separated from their owners. As mentioned by other reviewers, the dog showering area was covered in mud so the dogs actually leave dirtier than when they arrive. I came to Fleet Peeples with the intention of relaxing and letting my dog have a good time. Instead, I was constantly worrying where my dog was, chasing after her as she attempted to sneak off into the woods. I'm sure she had a great time, but for me, it was far from relaxing. read more

I visited this park for the first time today and loved my experience. The area feels more "wild" than Lake Eola in that it hasnt been developed with playgrounds, animal feeders, or monuments. It is serene and I would even say, very romantic. The walking trail is paved and has a few divergent paths. It is perfect for cycling, walking, running, and 'blading around I love how you can encounter different vegetation, too. On one side there are big unfurling trees (the typical Orlando trees) and on the other there are palm trees and shrubs. The adjacent village center of Baldwin Park has a mix of everything-- fast food, sit down restaurants, dessert, and things that you would find in any suburb such as a dance center, and gym. I rented a Juice Bike and went for a pleasant ~3 mile ride around with wind in my hair. Shade, ducks, and a walk in the village center will make your day read more

A decent place to take your dog and let him/her go off without the leash. Pros: he can run around and, for the most part, stay out of trouble, as the park is bordered on three sides by fencing and the fourth side by Lake Baldwin. There is a bathing area by one of the entrances/exits with four working hoses (with shower-head-like attachments) where you can wash your (muddy, dirty) doggie before leaving. There is also a little wooded area with a few paths that you can walk around in. Waste bags and trash receptacles are supplied in the area also. Cons: the place is very sandy/muddy. Your dog is going to get dirty, no doubt about it. This may not be a con if you are expecting it and plan to bathe your pup anyway. The other thing to watch out for is, sometimes people bring dogs that really should be leashed at all times, but aren't. These dogs like to start fights (sometimes with people if they try to interfere). It doesn't happen often, but it does happen so you should be watching your pup at all times. Finally, be sure you lock your car doors, as theft is - well, I won't say it's common - but it has happened more than once, so make sure your car is secure and your valuables are out of sight. All in all, though, this is a decent place to take your dogs and let them loose, and it's free. read more

This is a wonderful park that I grew up with, and it is now a premier playground for its two, three, and four-legged guests. Fleet Peeples taught me how to swim when I was I was a wee little one, and it was such a joyful experience. I think of Fleet when I see the joy of the dogs gallivanting in the lake, sandy beach, and within the fields and trails of this rustic theme park for dogs. Visiting this park gives me a bit of a dog fix, since I can't have one of my own right now, it always is a destination when I am dog sitting. The park is clean, the dog wash is useful, the patrons are happy, and everyone tends to play together nicely. Lots of shady parking. The only downside, is that sometimes during heatwaves, the odiferous contributions of discarded poo emanates from the vicinity of the trash bins and you have to scamper past quickly and hold your breath. Meanwhile, your pet thinks this is delectable, and does quite the opposite ... the "freeze" then "air sniff" pose. It's a special place and I hope Fleet would be happy that this is one of his many legacies and namesakes in this town. read more

I love to take Ralph here for a weekend reward to let off some steam and roll around in the mud, which he does quite enthusiastically! After his mud roll romp, he tends to make his way around the park. For the times I went, everyone has been respectful and keeping tabs on their dogs. Owners would immediately dissipate any aggressive fighting between their dogs and try to keep them separated to avoid any further interactions. Hooray for responsible dog owners! Moving on, waste bags and trash bins are located throughout the park so no worries on that front. Remember my make some furry friends comment? Well, even if YOU don't want to; those furry friends will come find you anyway! So, the suggestion of wearing attire that you don't mind getting dirty is strongly encouraged. Trust me, I have dirty paw prints on my shorts for proof! In the end, you can wash your dog at the cleaning stations located behind the restrooms. Lake Baldwin Park is by far my favorite place to run. I find it also very convenient that it's a hop and skip away from my house. Which means, after I'm done running the 2.5 miles around the lake and I feel like I'm dying, I just walk right home. I feel very safe running around this lake also. There are always families out, people walking their dogs, tons of other people running also (but not too many where it's annoying). The Park is well kept by the City of Orlando and is beautiful. Amazing park with a little bit of everything: sand, lake, grass and trails. I came on a Sunday morning and there were a lot of dogs, but the park is so big it did not feel crowded at all. Everyone was very friendly, dogs and their owners. People cleaned after their pups and overall is very well maintained. My dogs LOVED the lake and had the most fun they've ever had in an Orlando park. There's a lot of trees and shade in Florida is a must, so don't be afraid to go in a hot day. TIP: there are dog shower stations at the entrance so you can wash your dog after a long day of play, no dirty car no dirty pup! read more

This is my favorite dog park. Beach area, open play area, huge densely wooded area with trails, pavilions to stay dry and cool, running water, dog wash station, squirrels and shade...this place has it all. I am a regular, I come everyday. The regulars are nice and the dogs get to know each other. Weekends are pretty busy, stay away from the beach area on weekends if your dog gets annoyed with dogs who are less trained or extremely hyper. The beach area can be fun one second and over stimulating the next. But there are also areas for solitude no matter the busiest days.Overall, the people and nature are amazing. If you want to be more social and see lots of aussies, goldens, poodles, and border collies, go to the right side near the beach and dog wash. They play with ball and stick toys in the water and play games of keep away and chase while their owners are VERY social. If you want to be more solitary and play with 1 or 2 other pups while walking trails and letting your dog chase squirrels in the woods, go to the left side near the forest. You will see dogs of all breeds here in their element doing their thing while their owner leisurely strolls the trails chatting every now and again to another trail goer. It is all fenced and there is something for everyone or every 'pup'. Things which annoy the guests- bringing an anxious or aggressive type dog and keeping it on the leash (the leash creates problems for packs of dogs, just don't bring them if they need to be on a leash), bringing a puppy under 8 months and expecting all dogs to baby it and think it is cute...not going to happen! These dogs like to play! I have seen many puppies get rolled and surrounded by well behaved older pups just because the puppy has that cute 'puppy energy' nipping and jumping on all the dogs.Four 2 to 3 well behaved pups can become angry when a little baby terrorizes the status quo. So watch your little dogs, they are out numbered but adult dogs 10 to 1. Not picking up after your dog, yelling at your dog verbally correcting it loudly and aggressively, yelling at other park goers if the dogs don't get along, just walk away man! It us a 23 acre park...letting hyper dogs jump all over calm older dogs, loosing track of your dog all the time, bringing food to the park and trying to eat it at a table (I have seen packs of dogs overtake a family trying to eat burger king at a pavillion) this is a DOG park so act accordingly! It is fun and once you go you and your pup will be hooked! Have fun! read more

Dogs love this park! It is HUGE and always PACKED with dogs so your dog is always going to find a dog to play with that fits. It is right on the lake for those dogs that like to swim. This park is very muddy so make sure you bring towels. There are hoses there to clean your dog once he/she is done playing. My only complaint is that for some reason my dog always seems to get some time of skin problem after we take him here. The first time he was insanely itchy for a week and the second time it seemed as though he maybe got into ants. He had little red bumps all over his two front legs. My dog has always had sensitive skin (he has to be on specific food or his hair falls out), so maybe it is just him. It isn't a park Id take my dog to on a regular basis since it is a pain having to bathe him after each visit. However, it's a great treat for your pup and he will have the time of his life! read more

My dogs are my babies, so Im always looking for good dog parks to take them to release their crazy inner self and interact with other furry friends. This park is pretty big.. lots of space for the dogs to run around and let loose, they even have an area by the restrooms where you can give them a bath. One of my friends had told me about it and I decided to give it a try this past weekend. I took my Shiba inu and Basset Hound and boyyyy did they get home tired haha. We walked around the trail for some exercise, and although they did not get in the water they did run around in the sand and made new friends that hopefully we'll see again. This is the best dog park I've ever been to. It's a very huge park for you and your dog to freely roam. You can explore in the woods or let the dogs play out in the open or in the little beach into Lake Baldwin. The park also has little bathing stations if your dog gets dirty, just bring some shampoo and towels. There are also benches and shaded areas around for owners. This is my favorite park in Central Florida. The lake and trail are gorgeous, and they keep it very manicured and clean. It's 2.5 miles around, and on your journey around the lake you can view the luxury homes, dogs at Fleet Peeples, and diners enjoying the restaurants. There's a great view of the sunset and sunrise from the park. I recommend grabbing a beverage at one of the restaurants, or get a frozen yogurt and sit and watch people on a Friday evening. It's great, cheap entertainment! read more

This is a great park! It is huge. It has plenty of places for us to sit while we watch our pooch swim in the water and play with the other dogs. Even though it may be leash monitored, every time we have been, all dogs have been free to run. read more

Excellent place to take your dog or go for a run around the lake! The dog park is gated and huge. It even has a small lot for small dogs. The dog park is public so tags are not required, just be mindful of that. Owners are usually respectful and manage their dogs accordingly. There is also a cool trail through the woods that you can take your dog with you. You can wash your dog at the different bathing stations. There's a lot of water and bathroom options for humans and pets alike. The entire trail around the lake is 2.5 miles and goes straight through the heart of Baldwin Park. read more

If someone were to tell you that Lake Baldwin Park is going to the dogs, they would not mean that in a bad way. Chances are, they would be one of the many people who bring their dogs here to roam freely at the fenced in dog park here at Lake Baldwin. Creatures of the two legged kind are more than welcome here too. With a public boat ramp, a playground for children, pavilions, and a wide enough nature trail for walking, jogging, and bike riding, this is a beautiful park for everyone to enjoy. There is plenty of parking, and the bathrooms are clean and spacious. There is also a area behind the restrooms where you can wash your dog off after it has been running throughout the dog park and lake. On a weekend, just about everyone with a dog or several dogs take in the facility. The park and trail is well shaded, what with all of the trees throughout. As I walked along the trail, several people walked, jogged, or rode a bicycle by. And many times, I was greeted with a smile or a hello. To which I was able to answer back with a smile and a hello. It is nice just to be in a place that brings such enjoyment to everyone visiting. And I know the dogs enjoy it. I even had a laugh as a young couple on skateboards rolled by with power provided by their dogs as they held their leash. Let those dogs get a workout! Located near the VA Clinic, take a moment to walk or ride to the Vietnam War Memorial and honor those who served. read more

Great dog park! Definitely try it out. They have a nice set of rules that keeps nice dogs safe and everyone in a friendly environment. Everyone was really enjoyable that we encountered and our dog had a lot of fun. You can sit on picnic benches or in the grass or by the water. Lots of seating and options. Best place ever for all sizes of dogs. Also I ran into the lady that runs it and she said dogs are welcome from sunrise to sunset every day of the week, unlike what the signs read. read more

This is the best dog park I've ever taken my dogs to. I spent many an hour here over the summer and it was great! The first thing that I love about Fleet Peeples is the size. It's enormous! It also has a lot of shaded areas and benches to escape the sun. There are some picnic tables and even a covered pavilion. You can bring your dogs and have a picnic, read a book, or socialize with some friends. There are some nature trails towards the back of the park that you can take your dogs through for a little hike. My dogs LOVE the lake there. It's shallow and right off a sandy area that the dogs love to roll in and get filthy. It's so much fun to just sit there and watch all the dogs going absolutely crazy and having a great time. There are bathrooms for the people and doggie clean-up stations all over the park for you to pick up after your pooch. By one of the exits, there's a "shower station," so you can clean off your filthy little pooches on your way out. Most of the dogs that are here seem well-kept and cared for by their owners. I feel safe having my dogs here! read more
