He told me "we actually do for tonight" "we have several rooms". I provided him with all the information and just FYI any child above 5 is considered an adult. I showed up and he had set the reservation for some random dates. Instead of taking accountability and apologizing for the error he tried to gaslight me over the phone. This is my go to place to stay when I'm not camping in Chelan. It is located within walking distance of several eateries, tasting room and a quarter mile walk from downtown Chelan. I just park my car and walk! It is located on a busy road so weekdays early you begin hearing the road traffic. The shower has great water pressure! I'd like to suggest a Keurig single cup vice the available coffee pot, I chose to walk across the street to the coffee stand vice brewing Folgers. The bed is comfortable. Stayed in the single units behind the office in a non smoking room , however the room next to us appeared to be smoking as a smoking urn was located out in front if the unit. Found that to be very irritating. Have stayed in the multiple level units and will stick to them in the future. The guest services office was not open much during our stay so thankfully we didn't need help. Great value for the price! read more

No frills lodging when visiting Lake Chelan. Midtowner Motel is a short drive from the lake and other places you may be visiting in the area. I was surprised by how spacious the room was compared to other places I've stayed at. Parking may be a little tight due to big trucks, but you shouldn't have any issue finding a spot. The front staff was very friendly and although we didn't get any housekeeping service, we did observe that they were not rushed and seemed to be thorough. Easy reservation process online. read more

Let me start by saying I stayed at the Midtowner, (Campbell's owns) there is no staff here after 3pm. I started off my stay off by being called a liar by the assistant manager, I called weeks in advance to make sure I had a pet friendly room, but then when I got here I was told "you never told me that, and your lying my staff is trained to know which rooms are pet friendly". I then got locked inside my room because a piece of the door was broken, there was a screw sticking out of the door making it impossible to open the door so I had to call to get let out, after they got me out they put the screw back in and then hammered the door back making it completely crooked and left. For the rest of the night my card reader wouldn't work eventually getting locked out of my room, I went into the office for help and someone came and tried to fix it, they couldn't figure it out and told me "I'll be back" 45 minutes later no one was back mind you it's 98 degrees out and I have my puppy and small children. I went inside to ask what was going on and didn't get a response from the lady, she was completely silent after 5 minutes of no response I walked out and she says "I'm trying to call someone" ? Would of been nice to know when I asked. What topped everything off is an hour and a half after waiting outside in the heat the lady in the office comes out with the "emergency key" and opens my door, so apparently me and my family sitting outside in 98 degree weather for an hour and a half wasn't an emergency. It's a motel so you can't have too high of expectations. The room was clean, fair priced, did not smell bad, the decor is very modern. My room came with a microwave and mini fridge. Enough cable channels on the tv, no movie channels. The room was sufficiently big enough and there were enough outlets for charging devices however some outlets don't work. They do have free WiFi (shotty)and a coin op laundry room, indoor pool and spa, which are on the smaller side. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would say it's a step up from a motel 6 They do not have king size beds at their motel at all. The blinds do not close all the way so people walking by can see into my room, and I was able to see into a the other rooms. The beds are old and not too comfortable. The standing shower is tiny. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner because they supply a tiny amount. It is within walking distance to downtown and the lake but it would be a longer trek along a very busy rd. I wouldn't recommend walking to the lake for swimming from here, would be a long walk to carry all your stuff, as it is not in downtown chelan, it's just up the hill read more

I was able to book this motel on fairly short notice which I appreciated. It was clean and updated. Often I've found that these older motel rooms have a funny smell. Every time I walked into the room I thought how nice it smelled! The room had a small fridge, free WiFi, ample parking and was just a short 10 minute drive to Karma Vineyards (on the south shore) where I was attending a wedding. Although my room (#42) was right next to the main road I didn't hear street noise at all, and even being on the bottom floor I never heard people above me or next door. If you're looking for a quite night's sleep at a reasonable price, this is your place. read more

I am not sure what to even say. Besides I am very disappointed. We have been coming to Lake Chelan every summer since 1989 as a family tradition. Our first year was at the city park and then following 20 or so years we stayed at Campbells Resort with our Kids and extended family. We eventually started staying back at City Park due to cost. But we have always enjoyed staying at Campbell's. We have been coming the last several years in February for wine and chocolate festival as well as January for Winterfest. Earlier this year we stayed here at the Midtowner without any problems. Our current stay though has been less then enjoyable. We have been here since Saturday. There is no office staff after 3 so if you need anything you are redirected to Campbell's Resort. After checking in had to call because the fold out bed had never been cleaned so they brought us sheets. When I handed them the dirty sheets all they said was sorry.. it is still filthy underneath it. We can not control the temp in our room because it is in the office.. The pool is so murky full of bugs and cold, Still waiting for pool service to get here! We called at 3. Laundry service is down. I asked if we could use the services at Campbell's and was told no because it's a separate business although that is who I have to call to talk to. That is where my towels have come from. That is where the pool guys are supposed to be coming from. My niece is staying here as well and was locked in her room one day because the door is so screwed up then the next day was locked out of it for over an hour with a child in the 98° Weather. On top of her having to wait outside she was called a liar by the office staff due to maintenance saying they showed up and nobody was around, this is untrue as her family and our family stood outside with her the whole time. Pretty upset and disappointed to know that the owners of Campbell's Resort are operating this business in this manner. read more

When we went to Lake Chelan a few weekends ago, this is where we stayed. For a motel, it felt incredibly clean! As an in-denial-my-friends-think-i-am-but-i-do-not clean freak, I didn't feel repulsed or slightly squeamish about spending the night at this establishment. It's located pretty close to the downtown area--so, you can walk to the bars and stuff, and not be impacted by the crowds and noise factors. A few stars off because their indoor/outdoor pool was really one pool that had a section of it indoors (under an awning/roof) and a part of it outdoors. It looked like in the winter, they could close it off, so it would all be indoors. it was just weird to me. perhaps, i've been living a sheltered life and just have never seen this before. All in all, not a bad place to stay. it's nothing fancy, but if you're just looking for a clean bed to spend the night in, this is it! read more

My friend's cabin is not exactly finished yet, in fact, only the foundation has been poured. We could camp out, but considering where it is located, I'd be afraid we'd be waking up to bears or coyotes in our faces. So, it required for us to find a hotel in town to stay at. It's located a few blocks up from "downtown" and the lake, but definitely within walking distance to things to do. This place is incredibly clean, well maintained and the price is right!! $85, in the middle of peak season, we had a decent sized room with 2 Queen sized beds, a mini refrigerator and a microwave. We didn't need much since we were only spending one night and really only wanted a place to rest our heads and take a shower at in the morning. It has a pool that is half inside and half outside, it's not an Olympic sized pool (deepest depth was only 5 feet), but the we had fun and there is also a hot tub to warm yourself up in, since the pool didn't seem heated. Great little place to rest your head and still be close to most of the things that Chelan has to offer. read more

Well it's a motel. There's not a lot more that needs to be said. You check in and they hand you a key... an actual key like from old timey movies :) The rooms are nice enough, you're likely not gonna be in it long, otherwise why be in Chelan. close to $500 for two nights for myself and puppy. didn't even have access to wifi. when i called about it, they told me to walk to the parking lot of the main office if i needed to access this basic necessity that they advertise. no offer of compensation or discount on my stay - something i paid for and is particularly important since i'm on business and need to communicate with my team remotely. the room itself wasn't anything amazing or to brag about. the toilet was small, furniture looked like old reused office chairs w stains on them. they had a 2021 cleaning procedure but it didn't say anything about if they actually washed the sheets or wiped down the remotes and high touch areas. read more

This motel was excellent for our overnight in Chelan. The room was extremely clean and had all the basics. The price is fair for the type of room provided. This is a motel, it is not a fancy lodge. There is a mini-fridge, a small coffee pot, a little table and chairs. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed there for the first time in June I think that was the month. They have a few rooms available if you have a pet which worked for us as we have a small dog . The room was updated. We were happy with how clean and comfortable the beds were. The staff was great ! We will definitely stay there again . Pool was nice also. We stayed 3 nights. This motel was clean, quiet, and had friendly service. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds in it, and was large for our needs. The pool was clean and big enough for the kids to play in, and had a decent sized-hot tub. Had free wifi in the rooms. Good price, too! Would stay here again. read more

I've stayed here once before and found it to be very mediocre. Definitely nothing special here, but still clean and relatively comfortable. Aside from the tiny showers (of the variety you might find in an RV) it was passably comfortable. A colleague and I returned to stay here a second time while on business in the area and arrived to discover that our reservation had been screwed up. I take my dog to work with me, especially on business trips because we work outdoors. The motel did not have any pet friendly rooms available for me. The owner's response was: "we'll have one available tomorrow, can't she sleep in the car tonight?". Restraining my outrage, I mentioned that this was most certainly illegal, to which she responded: "only if it's hot". Are you kidding me? The fact that my dog is my baby and I love her like I'd love a human child aside, this woman was suggesting that I commit animal abuse because she was unwilling to allow my extremely well behaved dog stay in one of the other rooms. This is absolutely disgusting. Would you leave your baby locked in a car all night? Needless to say, we stayed elsewhere. read more

Get new staff! I have stayed here many times before when I cannot get in to the resorts or want to avoid high rates during holidays. I have had the front desk hang up on my daughter, myself telling me "I didn't sound old enough" and "I was getting a room for my daughter to party" over the years. really? I'm a single professional mom with a college aged daughter and this is our family. Check your biases and generalizations or educate yourself. I am completely offended. I did get a call back one time when they realized who I was and that I had stayed several times before. This time, I'm right outside the office door so I can be babysat. Are you kidding me? The statement was also made upon check in, "well your daughter doesn't look 18" I don't care, and frankly it's not your business, but for the record she's a UW student in her 4th yr. I don't "party with my daughter, nor did I provide the room for her to party. The decor looks like the 80's threw up, it's ghetto. The floor is filthy- my feet are black. The shower is sooo small (I'm 5;4"), the shower head is at my forehead and I can barely move around in there and I'm small. The a/c is so loud, hope you're exhausted, a heavy sleeper or drunk. The housekeeping opened our door even though we said we didn't need anything. This place is rude and unapologetic. Maybe if you spent some money and updated the place you could raise the prices and keep the younger adults out. But do NOT take your bad business experiences out on other good, honest, professional customers or generalize all young adults- which I also witnessed your terrible behavior to. Every staff member is rude, unprofessional and needs an education. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to compare this to the resorts we stay at here. This is your standard low-budget motel, good for a night or two; think Motel 6. So if you need a rest it's okay. read more

They made our reservation for the wrong night, and the lady at the desk when we tried to check in was very rude. Never once apologized, and tried to charge us for no-show. As it turned out we found a MUCH nicer place to stay, with nicer people, for less money! You can do better than this place. read more
