This place is going down hill fast. I've been coming here for years, since I think around 2008,…read moremaybe longer. You would come in, pick your site, let the ranger station know and you were done. Now, since a couple months ago, they changed it to where "a computer" would pick your site for your, which would be good if all the sites were the same, but they definitely are not! Some sites are paved, some are rock, some long or short, some easy to get into, some not. They basically took your choice away! Before, if you got here and all the "good" sites were taken, that's the luck of the draw. Both times since they changed to this I've had to ask to change the site, first time, I couldn't get into the site if I wanted to. Second time they put us in a site we definitely did not want. Now, they put up a sign no drinks in the edge of the pool, no exceptions! A lot of people go to the pool, stand at the side, drink whatever it is, chill and have a good time. So now that choice has been taken away. I can understand glass containers, glass and pools don't mix, so punish those people! We have loved this place for years, but it's getting to where we don't like coming here anymore. Some of the employees are nice, some not so much. Some of the employees seem extremely lazy and are just here to talk and play. Mean while, the speed limit is 5 mph, I've seen people doing I think around 25 or 30. People have their kids and dogs walking around the park and I haven't seen much to stop that. But standing around the pool drinking whatever and having a good time, the managers said shut it down! I really don't know what's happening here. Just think hard before buying a membership. The memberships can cost thousands of dollars and they can make changes anytime, whether you like it or not, and you either have to deal with it or get rid of it. They don't care what you think! I go at 6:30 to do loads of laundry because I have my grand daughter. There was another man doing his laundry as well. My baby is laughing and dancing to Rachel when this big black haired man who I have never seen before and mind you my husband and I have enjoyed this place for over a year. We are never late on any payments we never have company or take company swimming. We power wash our rv when asked. So how should I handle this big black haired man who is staggering around the place griping really loudly. He approaches me and says the place closes at 9 and how dare I still be there. Mind you last I heard the place was open all night. It always has been but either way I can smell the alcohol reaking from his breath and he's talking to me like he would his girlfriend he was verbally assaulting. He talked so ugly that he had my baby crying. I had to leave the place with wet clothes that now stink and 2 ladies approached me and helped me because I was shaking so bad. I suffer from ctptsd and im shaking now writing this. He was so scary and volatile. Should I have called the police. I dont want to move but this man who I dont know cant go around treating women like garbage and scaring babies. And make up my mind on when your open because we need restrooms and showers at night as well.

It was truly like I was being bullied in high school.... I didn't even stay a month because it's a bunch of children that live there. It isn't cute or becoming to act that way, it's actually quite gross. They must pay for people to write nice reviews. The fridge was "community" but filled with old food and alcohol. If you're a raging alcoholic with child like behavior, by all means please go there. Also, to Suzie and Julie and all of you, before you point fingers make sure your hands are clean. It had a wonderful covered patio…read more They had several events that weekend- movie night, a charity fundraiser pancake breakfast and live music. We rented a fire pit and got wood and fire starters at the KOA store. The cabin is spacious with two bedrooms and a huge living room-kitchen area. Some cabins allow dogs so we brought our sweet dog. He loved laying on the patio looking at all of the birds. The only con was the "queen bed" was a little small For two people. Felt more like a "full bed". Staff was very friendly and super helpful. We will come back in the fall. By the way, Tony's Italian Deli down the street has THE BEST sandwiches I have ever had. You must try it. Delicious!!!
