Dr Drakes is a narcissistic, extremely rude, pompous, and inattentive person. He's a masochist. He…read morealways appears as though he is bothered by your presence, as though you are just wasting his time and air space by being in his office. While that lady just sits there typing away as he interrogates and questions your feedback with a straight up attitude towards you as though he doesn't believe you. He then shoos you out of his office with no real help given and bandaids your treatment. As a patient the very least you are looking for is a care plan and treatment options but he never shares this information with you, and then when you push for answers and more help because you're in so much severe pain he says do more physical therapy- and the whole time you have emergent bulging discs, incontinence, and can't even stand or walk for more than a few minutes. So you ask questions and he gets very irritated with you and treats you like you're a moron and that you should already know your available treatment options and the order in which you should be receiving those options. Last time I checked, I didn't go to medical school so I don't know how he has the nerve to treat people like he does. And I see that he sits on a medical board but he doesn't behave like a board certified medical professional at all. Maybe the medical board would like to know about his behavior and how he runs his practice. Google is more helpful than he is. You've gotta get second opinions, educate yourself properly, and stay a few steps ahead of him, because if you don't, he will take full advantage of you. I've been in chronic pain, with severe, emergent spine conditions and fibromyalgia, and I basically wasted a several months of my life suffering in so much pain because he slow rolled me with his lack of care and no real treatment; no progress has been made at all. That's my fault. Now that I know better, I'm definitely doing better. It's sad though for real because as a patient you put your trust into your care provider (he's not a care provider though) and their expertise because you are seeing them for help to feel better and seeking some relief. Every time I've had to see him he seems super annoyed by my presence and just keeps stringing me along. Billable hours. That's all you are to him. Not a person. And definitely not a patient. Don't go there to see him unless you want to be abused. Maybe that's why he can't manage to keep any staff at his office, as every other visit I've attended, his staff just keeps quitting and leaving his practice for better opportunities. I can only imagine how he was abusing them. There are many other places that are far better than MetroSpine and Dr Drakes. I advise you to try them and be treated in a humane manner while achieving real results and receiving quality care.

Please do not waste your time going here. I called to set up an appointment and the nurse said…read morethat my insurance was acceptable. A few days later I go in to the appointment and fill out the new patient paperwork. The nurse at the 'window' (a different nurse from when I initially scheduled) researched to see if they would take my insurance, after about 25 minutes of waiting, the nurse tells me they don't accept my insurance. How is it a 'doctors office' and their staff are not on the same page with acceptable insurance. The office is old and dingy. This was a complete waste of my time.

Once inside, it's bright, colorful, and a cheerful staff member greets you. Unlike other Physical Therapy places, this one doesn't have a sterile clinical feel with lots of beds and plastic dividers sprawled around. Instead, it looks like a place designed for active people who are ready to exercise and stretch their way back to good health. I had an injury that caused major neck/back pain and pesky tension headaches. I exercised patience with this process since the progress is incremental... All of my visits and treatment occurred under the direction of Clinical Director Dr. Anane. He's a licensed chiropractor so clients receive functional rehab and chiropractic care in one place. This doctor has an excellent bedside manner and avails himself to any questions or concerns that you may have. Additionally, all of the functional rehab specialists (Paris, Mia, Migma) who I've worked with are competent and hold Kinesiology degrees. Thanks to the team I am well on my way to recovery. I've also been educated on the holistic and therapeutic benefits of chiropractic adjustments and additional exercises to enhance my current fitness routines. If you're ready to get aligned and/or restore strength and flexibility lost for whatever reason, give this place a try. I highly recommend it!

5-Star Review for Full Strength Physical Therapy (formerly Solutions PT), Arlington, Va…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about Full Strength Physical Therapy and especially Andy and Danny. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed into a clean, comfortable, and supportive environment with a genuinely caring team. Andy and Danny are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They truly listen--something that means so much when you're dealing with chronic pain and multiple health challenges. I've been treated for back and neck stenosis, knee issues from a torn meniscus, and ongoing pain, and they have been patient, thoughtful, and determined every step of the way. What really stands out is how much they care about your progress. They take the time to tailor exercises specifically to your needs and clearly explain how to do them at home, which has made a huge difference in my recovery. Their combination of hands-on therapy and targeted exercises has helped improve my mobility, balance, and strength--and most importantly, reduced my pain so I can finally rest better. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional. There's a strong sense that everyone is invested in helping you achieve your goals. Convenient location with easy parking is just the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful to have found them--this team has truly made a meaningful, life-changing impact on my quality of life. Highly recommend!

I was referred from my doctor to go to Solutions PT because of a sports injury that made me lose…read moremost of my mobility on my shoulder. I had an initial consultation with Natalie, who was fairly new to the establishment at the time. Natalie is extremely knowledgeable, motivated, and approachable when it comes to this practice. She measured my range of motion and checked my strength and saw that both were very limited. I ended up going to PT twice a week and worked with Natalie during the first half of every session, and then the second half would mostly be done with those who assist with the actual exercises. Natalie's soft tissue work is incredible- don't let her petite frame fool you! She is a boss when it comes to making your muscles cry and then feel much better during the week. She's always considerate and asks if anything is painful and if so, she's always quick to dial her strength back! I've also worked with Anthony and Kyler. Both have been such a joy to work with- they really keep the operation going and are great at demonstrating each of the exercises. They are not only knowledgeable, they are approachable, and have great senses of humor. Today was my last session after a few months of PT. I will say, as a patient, you should always be consistent with the exercises you are given. I felt like I improved immensely in a short amount of time, but I also tried to dedicate 30 minutes to an hour each day to do all the exercises I was given by Natalie. That's another thing to note- Natalie is continuously researching and learning new exercises and will have you try them. She's very dynamic in her methodology when creating an exercise plan for you, so nothing stays stagnant. While I'm so happy that I have full range of motion back, I am so sad to be leaving Solutions. I'm going to miss Natalie, and the team very much. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone who has any discomfort or pain. There are so many PTs here to choose from and each have their own flair when interacting with patients. I couldn't be happier to have had Natalie as my PT. I know that if I ever feel less than 100%, I would come back to Natalie in a heartbeat. Thank you Natalie, Kyler, Anthony, and the rest of the Solutions Team. Even those at the front desk. I believe that everyone here deserves the utmost recognition. I am genuinely appreciative of all of your help and support throughout my experience with my (former) injury!

We were talking about what it's like to go to one of those in-network PT farms where a 22 year old is loosely overseeing your exercises while also attending to several other patients in a large open area that all feels slightly chaotic and, to be honest, just a little bit sus lol. Core Wellness is not that place. If you can afford it, just go here. They have highly experienced staff who give you dedicated, one on one attention for the full hour and they take a holistic approach to solving your issue -- really listening; asking good follow up questions each session and pivoting as needed; explaining what's going on at all times and how different issues might be connected; working on your muscles with different techniques instead of just giving you basic exercises to do by yourself that you could have found online; etc. I saw Kelly and she is one of those healthcare professionals you wish all providers were like. My husband saw her as well last year and felt the same. Anyway, 5 stars, no notes.
