Summer 2026 !!! I came to leave my favorite spot a review and was sad to see some ones that weren't great but realized they were years old FYI new ownership ! Been coming here every year for the last few recent years and everytime we love it. Rooms are all updated , clean and my tween daughter says aesthetic ! Ac works great, WiFi is way better than alot of other places up here Staff is so amazing , present and accommodating . Like family! Owner is always available too and has always promptly messages me back too and you can't ask for more than that. Location is perfect. Close enough to enjoy the village if you want . Close to Bolton - where I find myself hanging out more and more . And right on the lake . We rent a boat slip for easy access & it's well lit at night too . Grounds are beautiful with well maintained flowers . We Won't stay anywhere else - every year they are improving something and I love that level of continued growth and care! read more

Just came back from an extended weekend and we had a great time. We were part of a family retreat of 25 people with children of various ages and everyone had a great time. The young ones spend 3 days running from the brand new pool into the crystal clear lake. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very spacious and the staff were awesome. They have tons of activities to keep the kids busy for 3 days kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boats, rafts, pool table ping pong. The kids fished and swam while the adults soaked up the sun on the beach all just steps from our room. They have 3 gas grills so we BBQ'd a lot as none of the adults felt like going out. At night they have a few really cool fire pits that they start for you and there are tons of wood steps away. The views are incredible. We stayed last year also and had a great time just never got around to a review. read more

We had an amazing long weekend at the Lake George Suites. The rooms have been updated so nicely with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. This is our 3rd year back with a very large group and it was the best one yet. Thank you Bonnie and Mandy for making our trip a great one! read more

If you dig around the 'net a bit, you'll find some crummy reviews about LG Suites. However, the reviews are years old and our experience (late June, 2021) was just fine. (In reference to the other reviews: none of us have disabilities and we didn't have to cancel early so their experiences don't apply to us.) Compared to other places you can stay in the area, I'd classify LG Suites as 3-star lodging. Within that category, it gets a solid 4 - 4.5 stars. First, I should start off with a summary saying we really enjoyed our stay (Fri late afternoon - Mon morning). Lake George Suites is nicely located a few minutes north of the town Lake George, and about 10 minutes south of Bolton's Landing. It's literally a couple minutes off route 87. It's on the water, has lots of different options for rentals, clean, has grills and a fire pit on the beach, and the front desk/groundskeepers/service guys are all nice and personable. We felt safe being there on the beach late at night. The accommodations could use updating, but those are mostly aesthetics and conveniences; overall we had no issues. (NOTE the update at the bottom.) Second, here is a more detailed review... We were in a 2nd floor two-bedroom suite. Aside from needing aesthetic updating, it was clean enough and definitely had enough space for our 3-person family. It would fit 4 if two can share a room with two single beds. We liked the kitchenette for the full-sized fridge and the option to save some money by having some meals there. We ate out most meals; however, appreciated the fridge to keep our beverages, snacks, and happy hour supplies cold. Cooking would take a little creativity with few pots, pans, and cutlery; however, I've prepared great meals with less so it is possible if you're flexible and creative. The master bedroom had an attached bathroom. There was enough storage for clothes if you pack light (3 drawers per person, plenty of hangers). It had an air conditioner. The other bedroom, with two single beds, had limited storage and no A/C. While the former isn't an issue, the latter could be. The main living area had an A/C powerful enough to cool the whole area. However, once the bedroom door is closed, it heats up fast. You might do well bringing a small fan. Also, for you late-night lovers: remember the walls are thin. Your neighbors can hear you... ;) The 2nd bathroom had only a toilet and shower. There are no shelves or hanger-hooks. The sink for this bathroom is actually the kitchen sink. There is limited storage, so staying organized is key. That said, there was plenty of table top space and empty cabinet space to help make organization possible. Consistent with the current trend of reducing waste with bathroom supplies, we were provided one bar of bath soap and one set of shampoo/conditioner for the two showers; however, I've no doubt we would have been given more if we asked. I noticed some mold/mildew in a couple bowls and a pan. I commented to the front desk and she said we were one of the first renters for that room, so it could have been from being damp/moist all off-season. While I shouldn't have to do dishes before I use them I probably would have anyway since I don't know how well previous renters cleaned. I appreciated the apologetic sincerity from the person I spoke with. We were 271 feet from the beach (per Google Maps), plus some for the steps. Please note that the beach view includes boat docks. I overheard someone complaining... However, if you look around, all places have boat docks in the view. The beach area provides plenty of seating and several charcoal and gas grills, picnic tables, and a fire pit. (Wood is for sale cheap all over the place; however, bring matches... I tried using a grill to get a fire started and though I thought the idea had merit, the lit kindling kept burning out by the time I got to the pit. The office probably had matches, but it was really late--I probably shouldn't have been doing this anyway--and I didn't want to bother anyone.) The location is great: a few minutes away from the town Lake George (though too far to walk), and maybe 10 minutes from Bolton's Landing. (Hint: find the church behind the distillery, you can park for free for 3 hrs.) Overall, I'd have no problem going back to Lake George Suites. In fact, next time we go, I'd want the 2nd floor end unit because it has a deck and a view. And, I have the big rental house on my radar for a big family reunion. In closing, disregard the other outdated reviews. This place cleaned itself up and is on par with other similar places to stay. EDIT: I left the owner a message saying thanks and we enjoyed our stay. I got an immediate response. They are new owners and are currently doing updates in real time, starting with new pillows. I appreciated the quick reply and honest acknowledgements of some simple renovations and thought I'd let future readers know. read more

Great place to stay! I came up with a bunch of friends and stayed in the house! Property is right on the lake with a small beach and amazing fire pits! 10/10 will be back, Greg was wonderful and so accommodating! Looking forward to the summer! read more

If you need help, you are on your own. My daughter got injured on their neglected deck by the poolside room 133. Nobody was there to help, office door was lock, they had a phone number and nobody answered the phone. I had to rescue and free my daughters leg that fell through the neglected broken wood deck. Its all on cameras at the hotel. When my wife finally found the manager there and told him what happen he decided to come up to see what was going on but first he had to throw out garbage at the dumpster first, then he came to see. It was either me calling 911 or I take it upon myself to free a crying and very upset daughter. Thank God I was able to tear the wood up to free her leg. She suffered a very bad bruised leg but didn't need medical attention. This hotel could give a rats a##!. A terrible place and horrible management. My wife has called 6 times and we got no response from them. The manager is avoiding our calls but we will now contact the new owners on long Island. They never filled out an accident report, its all on camera, the camera is within 10 feed from the accident. I will start writing reviews now, we gave them over a week to respond. The bottom line is that a girl got injured at their hotel and the management don't care. Enter at your own risk here folks. read more

WARNING: Recommend NOT to stay at this motel. My girlfriend and I stayed here in 2012 and found multiple issues. Here's our top 5 reasons NOT to stay here: 1. Smoke smell in room, bed and bedding. Motel was supposed to be 100% non-smoking, but motel staff seemed to smoke near facility regardless of this. 2. Black mold around air-conditioning unit in room and surrounding counter-tops. Water leaking out of unit and flooding over countertops. 3. Spiderwebs. Multiple spiderwebs outside room and surrounding each light. Spiderwebs appear to have been noticed by staff and yet not knocked down. Spiders appear to be brown recluse spiders. 4. Refrigerator. Refrigerator was broken. Unit was warm inside when turned up to coldest setting. Small fridge was provided upon request, third the size. Freezer section of small fridge provided was obviously not as roomy, had to squish ice cream container we had purchased in order to fit in there. 5. No tissue box provided in room, and no handsoap provided in room. When we requested a refund for above issues, we were told this was not possible. We organized a family reunion almost 2 years ago, and booked Lake George Suites via an Internet booking agency, and finally got together in July 2014. Our number 1 criterion for a location was for ADA handicap accessibility, which was indicated by the original booking agency, and via multiple phone conversations with the LGS corporate office at Morgan RV Resorts (phone calls to the local desk were not dependable, and after we experienced the extremely spotty cell phone service on site, I can see why). Although the main house does have a bedroom on the first floor, it is small and difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. The first floor bathroom does not have a shower, and the other bathroom fixtures lack wall supports for stability. The shower they offered as an option was next to the swimming pool in the parking lot. I suppose the front desk staff was somewhat sympathetic, but the fact that I was told that they could not spend any money on temporary accommodations unless "it went through Corporate" leads me to conclude the sympathy was not particularly sincere. We left frustrated 4 days into the week, and are happy to be home instead of there. It was particularly jarring that the rate we paid was almost $1000 more than the rates published for this summer on the website. Guess what guys, you should have been able to find some money to spend from all that extra we gave you! In terms of amenities, the big house was serviceable, however there were mouse droppings in a kitchen drawer, and a mouse nest under the bedroom dresser we had to move to enable a wheelchair to roll into the bedroom. read more

I unfortunately had to cancel my weekend stay at the Lake George Suites. The Lake George Suites cancellation policy states (from their own website): "Cancellation Policy: All holiday stays are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a cancellation. Refunds are prohibited for weather conditions, voluntary departure, acts of nature or eviction". They further elaborate on their cancellation policy in the confirmation email they sent me: "Cancellation Policies - All Holiday stays are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a cancellation. Refunds are prohibited for weather condition, voluntary departure, acts of nature or evictions. All reservations require a deposit of 50% of the reservation cost upon booking. Deposit will be forfeited for all cancellations. Hotel Rooms: For cancellations 48 hours or more before check-in, deposit will be returned as a resort credit less a $50.00 processing fee. For cancellations less than 48 hours before check-in, deposit will be forfeited." My stay was not on a holiday weekend and I gave 2 weeks notice that I was cancelling my reservation, yet despite doing so, the reservation agent informed me that they will be issuing me a resort credit for the deposit less the $50 fee (as was expected and explained in their policy) and then just stealing the rest of my reservation cost that I had paid in advance (another resort credit offered for the other 50% of the reservation cost - no refund). No where in their cancellation policy does it state that the entire reservation amount is non-refundable - in fact it explicitly states that only a $50 processing fee is non-refundable. I work in the lodging industry and know for a fact that this is not standard practice (my company refunds 100% of any reservation that's cancelled up to 24 hours prior to a stay). These practices are at best, deceitful and shady and at worst, possibly illegal. BEWARE! read more
