Start with the positive: close to the village; heated swimming pool, and clean rooms. The bad: outdated bathrooms and $3.50 cans of soda. The ugly: the sewer overflows when it rains--they did not immediately place sandbags, so our car was surrounded by putrid water. It ruined a pair of my shoes (we had a reservation for a shuttle ride at Whiteface Mountain for a specific time, so I had to wade through the gunk to get to my car. What pissed me off is that the forecast was for rain the entire week we we there, so this overflowing was both predictable and preventable. A real mixed bag. read more

Nice stay for Memorial Weekend at Lake George. Had great weather and glad we stayed here... Continental breakfast included between 7am-10am daily. There is no elevator so one must carry their luggage up the stairs if staying on the second floor. Nice balcony view of the pool and view. Friendly staff and service. The firepit is nice but a bit situated high to sit around and stay warm at night. Make sure to put parking pass on display on the dashboard to not get towed. Convenient to walk to most places around the area from the hotel - restaurants, mini-golf, shopping areas, the pier, etc. Would definitely stay here again. read more

The hotel does not have shower benches that someone who cannot stand at all can use. They only have tub seats which have several inches in gap between the wheelchair and the tub seat. A person who cannot stand at all cannot transfer onto one of these inside a tub. Secondly, the room that they provided me for my stay had the bathroom so small that the only way a wheelchair user can access the tub was to sit on the bench facing the back of the tub. There was no way to get on the shower bench and face forward in the tub. Therefore, I needed help to access the water controls for the shower. read more

Second time here, this time for the Adirondack food and wine festival, which was conveniently located across the street. We arrived early , hoping to get into the room but no luck. So we attended the festival and returned back to the hotel and we're told the rooms still weren't ready. No problem, we took a drive to look around and when we came back, we sat by the pool. The wonderful girl at the front desk came out to tell us that rooms were available. So nice of her to seek us out. Oh, and again, the rooms are spotless and the pool area was clean too. We stayed here 4 nights in mid-September 2024 to explore the area between Ticonderoga and the Saratoga Battlefield. We had a king room, which was spacious. I was told there were only a few of these in the hotel, so I'm glad I reserved early. The vinyl plank flooring made the room feel even cleaner than with carpet. The bed was especially comfortable. I really appreciated that the soap and conditioner were not scented. The AC worked well, and the shower was very good. The sink was separate from the shower / toilet, which I like. Breakfast was the same every day (egg and sausage patties), but that was fine with us. The breakfast room is on the small side yet we never had to take our food back to the room. The location of the hotel was just about perfect since we could easily walk to restaurants each evening. read more

I was very happy with a recent stay at this motel. Rooms were clean and updated. Pool was great and hot tub small, but much enjoyed. Great fire pit. We really didn't spend much time here other than to sleep. There was plenty of parking on a busy weekend. The hotel was within walking distance to multiple restaurants. The room was pretty basic but clean. Kinda had a musty smell when we walked in. There was a nice outdoor pool. Well...we didn't use it, but it looked nice. They also had a lot of outdoor seating for those wanting to enjoy the beautiful night. The breakfast was pretty typical for a free breakfast. Very helpful and thorough staff. Most clean motel I have ever stayed at. The table and chairs outside my room on the patio made it possible for me to drink my coffee and look at the mountains. QILG was very close to the main strip with all the stores. A shortcut just across the street takes you right down to the lake to the steamboat company and other shops. Not only is the staff great our room was just the right size & comfortable .. Clean & modern with a nice bathroom area & shower. I'm not sure if they have elevators but the stairs to the top floor where we stayed weren't difficult to navigate . They had a nice outdoor pool that was beautiful with lights and pretty landscaping W/plenty of clean sun basking recliners . They have coffee in the lobby (I think 24/7) waiting for you early in those large thermos thingamijigs. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which offered nice fresh whole fruits and great coffe & lots more . The pillows were nice and plush , overall definitely a clean, relaxing & pleasant place. I slept like the dead , my daughter said I snored, woke up refreshed & ready for walking . & yes within walking distance to everything !! read more

Thank you!!! We were there only two nights Friday and Saturday. It is ideally located. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Seemed like a great place for a family to stay. Although we did not use the pool, our rooms had a great view of it. People seemed to enjoy it. Every employee we encountered were very personal and so friendly. While we always expect professionalism and courtesy it's really pleasant when you feel welcomed by all of the staff as you meet them each day. The continental breakfast was just that, a continental breakfast not a gourmet meal. However, they offered more than the average continental breakfast. The fresh danish was very fresh and delicious. They had egg and sausage and English muffins to toast. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast room was clean and pleasant. They had someone taking care of it and she did a wonderful job and was very welcoming. I would certainly recommend The Quality Inn in Lake George. Unfortunately, my dad had a problem in the parking lot which necessitated calling an ambulance. He is fine now but it was a scary few minutes. Stayed here overnight for a wedding (held at another location around Lake George). The hotel is located in a great spot in Lake George Village that is within walking distance to restaurants, bars and lake front activities. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean and available to us prior to the designated check in time (a huge plus when you're arriving the day of an event that starts in the early afternoon). The check in and out process was simple and quick. Parking is ample and you can get the car pretty close to where your room is as long as a spot is available. If you're coming in warmer weather there is an outdoor pool and. Hot tub available as well. No lake views from the room, which was a disappointment, but still some nice views of the surrounding mountains. A great place to stay if you're looking at Lake George Village. The location is great and room rates were reasonable (although that may change during peak season). read more

I was looking for a quick weekend getaway and found the Quality Inn with pretty good pricing so I read the other reviews and decided to book. Great service and location. About a block away from downtown so you can easily park and just walk to the strip. Rooms are clean and patio chairs were great. We were able to enjoy our nights on the patio. Only one thing I'd suggest is to have a noise ordnance after a certain time since kids do run around on the deck during late hours and we can hear it inside the room. read more

Amazing hotel. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were reasonably priced. Love the fridge and Keurig in the room. Pool was clean and very nice. Due to Covid restraints the breakfast was paired down. The food that they did have was very good. Fire pit was a nice charming touch, although it was too hot to use it. Only complaints were beds were a little uncomfortable, and the WiFi was spotty. I would highly recommend this hotel. read more

We stayed here last night and found a used condom in the room as well as dead bugs on window sill. The idea of the used condom in our room is repugnant! The manager was very uncouth with us. His response to the situation was abrupt and he semmed very bad-mannered and brutish about the issue like it was somehow our fault! The breakfast was below par the eggs were watery the sausage was watery and made me feel nauseous. I would not recomend staying here! read more

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The manager was super accommodating. Check in wasn't until 4 pm but he let us check in at 10 a.m. and allowed for a late check out on Sunday when asked. The place is cute in itself and has a hot tub, large pool, and fire pit/sitting area. It was walking distance to everything and close to the lake. Overall, a great experience! read more

just got back from a long anniversary weekend stay at this hotel. all in all a fabulous hotel and in a fabulous location! Every one that works there is so friendly and so helpful. Christina who works in the breakfast room is so sweet and such a nice person! she was treating every one in the room like they were her family. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable. no complaints at all. was in perfect location to everything..we walked to the lake everyday and to dinner almost every day. we enjoyed breakfast every morning..good variety of items..from make your own waffles to cereal and yogurt. the breakfast area was very clean as well. We got back yesterday and are already planning to go back with our family for our summer vacation. i can't say enough wonderful things about this location. read more

Nice hotel walking distance to all the food and shops. I hate walking... and this was not bad at all. The room is very simple and fairly new. Most importantly clean. I had a room right by the pool which was nice. The pool was of decent size and there was a hot tub. We had a wonderful time at Quality Inn. The rooms were spacious and the staff was friendly. The cost per night was very reasonable considering that it included a diverse continental breakfast. My kids complained about the wifi but I had no problem logging on with my computer- I guess if you want to play video the wifi is a bit slow but vacation is no time to play video games- lol. read more

I just stayed here on my trip to Lake George. This hotel was extremely clean and very nice. I have stayed at many five star hotels that were not as nice as this hotel. The hotel attendants were very nice as well. The hotel has a nice hot tub and heated pool. It also has a small gym. The hotel is in walking distance to all attractions,shops,restraunts, and the lake itself. So we didn't even have to drive anywhere, which was really nice. I would stay here every time I go back to Lake George. Oh FYI if you smoke don't stay at this hotel because the only place you can smoke is in the parking lot all hotel rooms and grounds are nonsmoking. Which i think is great because I don't smoke and it keeps everything nice and clean. read more
