Great place to meet up with friends and family. Great atmosphere with a beautiful deck overlooking the lake!

If you are looking for anything other than mediocre food, don't try this place. Started with a house salad that came with my meal, the lettuce was not just wilted, but it looked like it had been squashed under about a ton of bricks. It was drowned in shredded cheese to hide that fact. I'm going to guess that the staff made the salads a week prior and just grabbed them as needed. Main meal was supposed to be Chicken Marsala. It was a chicken breast that ha painted grill marks, probably warmed in the microwave, served over day old rice, in a cream sauce with canned mushrooms. Marsala is a red wine sauce, not a cream sauce. So sad. I guess if you like typical bar food like burgers, it might be ok. read more

We met here for lunch with friends we don't see often and enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Service was excellent at All phases of our visit. The cod au gratin, and hamburgers with fries probably stole the show. The cherry sour and short fruit something () were good. read more

First time trying this place and it was excellent! Had the NY Strip special on Tuesday. Can't beat it for $13.99. Came with a really good soup. Lots of beer choices and cold! Great view and fantastic service! Definitely will be a regular stop when I'm in town. read more

I always order the pulled pork quesadilla. On my last visit the BBQ sauce was very good but way too sweet! Also there was way too much bbq sauce and very few grilled onions. read more

The lake inn is our favorite restaurant in lapeer. The food is consistently good, and served quickly. The place is kind of loud our only complaint, but not enough to keep us away, we know it's going to be a good meal at a reasonable price. read more

Let me start by saying this location is amazing and the new remodel plans are very professional and will take this little diamond in the ruff to a whole new level of dining and atmosphere. The service has always been really friendly and attentive and the owners daughter is a very thoughtful and caring server. They make there own barbecue sauce and I've not found anywhere from here to Kansas City that comes close to his recipe!! Seriously a must try!!! The views of lake Nepessing from inside the restaurant and from there deck seating outside You can come in from the lake and dock your boat to eat or order and pick up if you'd like. They truly are very accommodating to there customers. Great liquor, wine and beer selection at the bar which is a huge plus for us drinkers. First time I've ever been here before. We had dinner and there were 10 of us including myself. Let me first start off by saying that I was a little concerned when reading the reviews, but it was for a family birthday and I was going to attend either way. I was pretty impressed with the beautiful view. We got there about 5:50pm (it was a 40 minute drive there) and they don't take reservations (which stinks when you have such a large party). But ultimately their food was really great, the views were excellent and the service was pretty good as well! I would recommend! read more

Doesn't even deserve a star. To go order taco salad, drenched with dressing. Common sense dictates no salad should be prepared to go tossed in the dressing. Burger was dry, no flavor and potato soup, skin on old baked potato! Will not return and would never recommend for food. Staff and service is good. Trying not to be too cruel but this place's food is really, really terrible. We tried it twice. Never again. Why does a glorified dive bar have 100 items on its food menu? Of course everything is going to be terrible. The alleged manager and male bartender were arrogant and rude and did not care that our food was disgusting. Maybe this place is fine for a beer and restrooms if you're on the water but otherwise there is no reason to give this place a cent. read more

We came here while visiting family and was not impressed. The place only seems to keep cutting corners when it comes to the food. After seeing the delicious salad my mother in ordered and all the other great looking foods walk by, i was very disappointed in the chicken fingers i ordered. Had i known they changed them to those gross frozen ones. They were just as dry as they looked but being hungry, we choked em down. Hoping our next visit will be a little better and they bring back the handbreaded strips that kept us coming back. read more

Very glad I found this place. Great patio with view of the entire lake. Service was excellent. Shared a walleye sandwich on a homemade bun. Came with some freshly cut fries.pretty good also. French dip with onion rings not too greasy -really decent also. Added 2 draft beers and bill came to $31. Think I will return to try dinner sometimes. read more

This place look very modernized. The outside patio looks amazing, but it was way too cold to eat out there and the big TVs are inside anyway. The drink menu is pretty extensive, I witnessed my entire table drink almost every tap. There wasn't a disappointed face in the bunch. The wait staff is nice, and the food was pretty good. I had the ribs and the clam chowder. The chowder was a bit salty, but other than that I have no complaints. read more
