We are here on Memorial Day for lunch. It was busy, but super good. We waited 10 mins for a deck seat, sat on the water. Gorgeous peaceful view. Food is delicious. It has flavor- we ate a Bayou burger and Fish Tacos- both delicious. Not just plain Hamburg or Fish on a bun. The plates are large. The drinks are delicious- and huge- and amazingly priced. Draft beer tower/wall is impressive! Probably 30+ selections. Everything from Michigan craft to PBR. Out door seating over looking the lake is beautiful. Food was good, I had the Stromboli with pepperoni , bacon and pineapple . Bartender chick was friendly , bar stools feature local businesses stitched into the back of the chair (very cool idea). Prices seemed very reasonably on beer and liquor. Cabo wabo was 6.50 on a Friday, I'll take that any day! read more

This place is just ok. We went in the fall and there wasn't anything going on outside, it was too cold. But the inside was just as cold. The bartender was awful. He had the personality of a sloth. The service was ok, at best. The food was good, we really enjoyed the breadsticks. The drink menu is mediocre at best. For a place with such a big bar, I'd expect more selection. We will check it out again this summer. But I don't have high expectations. read more

Always an excellent experience. Worth the 30 minute drive from Lake Orion. Baked spaghetti is great. Everything they have is great.

Have no idea how the food might be. Went there for a birthday dinner with 10-12 family members. Called ahead to make a reservation. We were told that they don't take reservations, but we were assured that there would be no problem seating a party our size. My brother even called back to make sure. We all arrive at 3 pm, and were told that they didn't have the room & couldn't seat us. They acted as though we were just a big imposition. Apparently they don't need the money we would have brought in. Very, very poor customer service! We did enjoy our meal at Lucky's Big Fish. Everyone there is actually nice! read more

So it turns out the area that is first come first serve can actually be reserved! We rented an Igloo from 4-6 for a party, spent $500+ for the get together. We have been here a couple of times since moving to the area and we really like it. Food is pretty good and the service is always great. The worst experience one could have with his family. From the service to the food I would recommend go elsewhere. The food had a horrible rotten smell and the taste was twice as bad. Two out of four that tried a bite or two got sick. The waitress could of cared less. Don't try this place between the price and service it's not worth it. read more

This place has good service, delicious food and a great view. I have been here on two occasions and once sat indoors due to the rain and the second time on the patio. The patio is amazing with the serene waters which makes this a great place to visit. As for the food, I tried the steak sandwich, coconut shrimp, fish sandwich and onion rings. Their steak sandwich is their take on a philly sandwich. The steak was slightly dry and lacked a little flavor. It was a decent sandwich but wasn't amazing. Their fish sandwich had two big crispy filets of fish with lettuce, onions and tomatoes with a side of tarter sauce. The fish tasted very fresh and was delicious!! The onions rings were upgraded for $1 and was sweet and crispy like any good onion rings. The coconut shrimp was good but the sauce was what made it extra special. The sauce tasted almost like a sweet chili sauce and complemented the shrimp really well. It came with 6 decent sized shrimps. Overall, the food is good and the view is excellent. This is one of the most scenic restaurants I've ever been to! It sits right atop Lake Napessing. My boyfriend and I walked in and put our names down and gave his cell number. We ended up sitting at the bar and ordering some drinks while we waited. The hostess was so nice! We didn't have cell service in there so we didn't get the text about our table being ready. She came over to the bar and asked if we had still wanted our table. We politely declined because we were having fun at the bar. We ended up ordering an appetizer and dinners with the bartender, Ted. He was cute and friendly. The best part, for me, was the warm pretzels and beer cheese. Omg they were to die for! My sweet boyfriend even made a comment about me hogging the cheese lmao. Not a place to go at this time. If you have concerns regarding the covid virus this is not the place to go. Sat us by the kitchen, even tho it is spaced out this table is right by the walk way for bathrooms, leaving to go to your boat and coming in from outside to leave by the front door. Omg people were not wearing their masks. Felt so vulnerable and very upsetting. People going from the bar to the restroom not wearing masks. All staff had masks on except I could see in the kitchen and cooks did not wear-one and waitresses lowered the mask once in the kitchen also waited 1 hour for our food and the food was tasteless sorry to say. The Lake Inn was fabulous. Be aware the last time I visited would have been +15 years ago. My surprise and my shock for the excellent remodeling, views and service were huge. Big change and what a gem! Mine was a lunch with two others. Onion rings appetizer (hot, huge and tasty) then we got Taco Salad, Perch Sandwich and Fish Tacos. The three of us were pleased with the speed food came to us (even in a slammed house on a Sunday lunchtime), the freshness and the amount of food. Loads of beer selections although we didn't enjoy that side of the Lake Inn. The view of Nepessing Lake is tremendous, the outdoor patio is large and has a great bar. We arrived and were informed they were not seating outside because of the rain. What rain I asked? It was a beautiful sunny day. It never rained. We left. To disappointed to even try the food. We went with another couple for dinner on 5-7-16 The only positive thing is the new building. 1- Parking is very limited 2-Service at the bar while you wait for your table is horrible 3- Paging system does not work properly 4- Bar quality food at best 5- Owner/manager was more concerned about selling raffle tickets than helping the understaffed/untrained waitstaff. We'd been here a few years ago and knew this place is always busy at the prime dinner time, so we came early- 5pm, on Thursday and got a nice spot on the deck right away. It's the lakeside deck with the view that sets them apart, not the food. The menu selection is too large for them to really focus on having *great* food. We had the Walleye and the Montreal Ribeye off the daily specials menu. The Walleye was good, the steak was acceptable, but I couldn't figure out what they did to the baked potato, it didn't taste right and had a wax-like consistency. They have a very good beer selection, and our waitress, Stephanie, was super. We consider this one of those special places to bring friends to because of the deck. If you've never been here before: it's hidden in a quiet neighborhood of lake homes, so they had to buy empty lots across the street to get enough parking. read more

Came here on a Saturday night around 7pm for a Birthday dinner. The music started at 9pm. It would be great if the band wasn't so LOUD! Daughter and I went for lunch, both had a draft with a ribeye steak, salads, i had the veggies, she had mashed potatoes. We also had the mushrooms as an appetizer. Appetizer was great, server was ok, i had to wait a bit on a draft refill, but she had a couple tables of 10 or more also. Steaks although thin tasted ok, but lacked seasoning of any sort, i added pepper to mine like the chef should have. Daughters mashed potatoes had zero seasoning. My veggies had zero seasoning.
