Terriable place. Took 6 uniform shirts, 2 uniform pants, blazer, and tie to be cleaned. Got the shirts back: 4 of the 6 still have dirty collars, 3/6 still have dirt in other places, and ALL 6 have these nasty looking yellow stains on them that weren't there when I dropped them off. 1 of the pants have a new hole in them and both pants have crease marks down the front that are offset from the original ones. The tie is still dirty, but the blazer I guess smells nice again. I'm an airline pilot so I like to keep my uniform looking nice. But this rotation I'll be looking like a slob thanks to the quality control process of this dry cleaner. Costs me hundreds of dollars out of pocket for new uniform pants and shirts plus the cost of custom tailoring. Thanks Lake Pleasant Cleaners! read more

Took a table runner in to be cleaned. Young kid with no customer service did not great me so I started the conversation and said, "I need to get this dry cleaned." He said, "what is it" and just stared at me. When I told him he looked over and someone, "do we do households?" And she just shook her head. Hi! I'm new to this area and needed to find a new home dry cleaners. I only take my button up shirts and get them cowboy starched. I was not happy with my first visit. The shirt smelled like they weren't cleaned and did not have any starch on them. I can honestly say I have them their fair share, I went back two more times to make sure I wasn't being picky about my shirts. After the third visit I let the manager "Gail" know of my issue with their service. She didn't seem to care, but she did offer to redo them. I told her it wasn't necessary because this was my third try. She wasn't rude at all, but as a manager she seemed as if she didn't want my business, which I'm fine that. I vote with my wallet and will not support a business that does not meet my expectations. I took my 200$ bridesmaid dress here to get the wrinkles out a week before the wedding and they burned my dress and snagged a few spots. When I dropped it off I told them to be careful with this material and they assured me they would. When I tried to address the issue with the manager/ owner, she was EXTREMELY unprofessional and yelled at me on the phone because SHE couldn't see the burn marks and didn't want to admit the damage when ALL of the other employees I showed the dress to, clearly saw the damage and agreed with me. She only reimbursed me the 11$ for the service and then 44$ because she said it was 4 times the amount of the service. She offered to pay the full amount for my dress but wanted me to give it to her to keep even though I mentioned I had to wear it to a wedding in a week. But she continued to disagree and deny the damages done and tried to say my alterations place did it. I will NEVER take anything here ever again and I regret not looking up reviews before I went. Avoid this dry cleaners at all costs! Service is decent but incompetence runs rampant here. LPC has burned the collars on four of my dress shirts over the previous year. They also perpetually fail to follow easy instructions regarding the treatment of specific garments. I have previous experience with patronizing great dry cleaning establishments in other neighborhoods and I can tell you that this establishment is lacking at best. I have been going to Lake Pleasant Dry Cleaners for many years and they always did an above average job. We took our clothes their because they are close. I took my $800 custom suit in to get the pants dry cleaned. My wife picked them up and when I felt them on the hanger, I knew something was different. The pants felt totally different so I tried them on and they shrunk both in length and around the thighs. Needless to say my suit was ruined. The owner WOULD NOT admit that they screwed up. A friends dog peed on my very expensive drapes so I took them to be cleaned. The drapes are a very light gray so the pee stain is very obvious. I showed it to the young lady who didn't seem to care about what I was showing her. About a week later they came back and the same pee stains remained, however, now all over the back was all this red string running all over my nearly 9 foot drapes. I took them back a few days later, explained to the girl that the pee stains were still there, she seemed so uncaring and uninterested and said she would talk with the manager about the problem. I picked the drapes up yesterday and although some of the stains were removed, several still remain. I won't be taking them back for a third time. I do not recommend this business and will not be using them again. Their inability to do their job is shocking and the uncaring attitude of this employee is upsetting. Good prices until the owner decided not to take ownership of his staff ruining 2 of my shirts. I was told something to the effect of "There is no way we could've put those stains on your shirts"... I guess it's an impossibility for dry cleaner to ruin shirts. His compromise was offering me a $20 credit, which would've covered 20% of the value of the shirts lost. I won't continue to play Russian roulette with my nice clothing... I'd advise you to do the same. The humorous part of the whole thing is I probably spent over $50 per month on dry cleaning... a savvy business person would've pulled my account, realized the value of a good customer, and done the right thing. read more

I have been using them a year now. Since the summer the service has changed. Yes you get your clothes dry cleaned onsite but the staff is rude. You should know the owner also owns vista cleaners where the lady who does the alterations is located. Again work is good but prices are shady. They are not consistent with their pricing. She can be very rude. She will tell you how great she is and people travel from Scottsdale just for her, but she forgets she is in customer service and it should be about customer not her. read more

Horrible experience with this dry cleaner. I had curtains cleaned and they shrunk them significantly. They made me go to the manufacture to see if they would replace them. Well, of course they didn't, because they didn't shrink them. They then refused to replace them. I have been awaiting the owner to call me back for approx. one and half months now. I have been to the store twice and no one manager was in. They then said they lost my number and the owner would call me the next day. This has been a month and still no call or callback. All they can offer me is a "$25 credit" to their dry cleaner. How about a refund at the least? Why would I ever bring my clothing or curtains to their cleaners again?? read more

This business is terrible. Not the front desk girls, they are sweet and apologetic. But overall, this cleaners RUINED my $248 jeans, turned them pink, pink streaks all down the legs. All they did was offer me the $5 refund i paid for them to do their service. The guy that was in front of me at pickup, they lost one of his suits. ONLY after I used them for the first time, several friends told me they lost their items and had no care at all about making it right. I tried a few cleaners around the area and wasn't particularly happy with the way the clothes turned out. Kind of wrinkled, stains still there. I'm also not a fan of dropping clothes off and then they get cleaned off premises. Then I found Lake Pleasant Cleaners. Coming from New York, I have a great dry cleaner there so I was very fussy. Their prices are good, the dry cleaning services were also good. I did have a problem once with them losing an article of clothing of mine, but they said the girl who handled it was new and she had done this with a few people. They asked me to come in and look through a few clothes on a rack to see if I saw my item. I did and they remedied the problem quickly and efficiently. They also said she was let go. Accidents happen and I understand this. I am still using them and have had no further issues and am happy with them. read more

I was quoted $28 to clean a queen coverlet. I dropped it off and told the lady that my cat got sick on the coverlet and needed it back quickly because we were having out of state company. My husband went back to pick it up and was charged $32! I called to question the charge and the lady told me she would have the owner contact me. After bringing it home and unwrapping the coverlet, it smelled awful like urine or chemicals. I again called back to complain, concerned that we had less then 48 hrs before our company arrived and didn't think I should pay for this. The lady said she would contact the owner immediately have him call us. HE NEVER CALLED. We took the coverlet to another cleaner, explained the situation and had the coverlet back the next day, clean and stick free and it didn't cost us $32. Worst dry cleaners ever: I took a brand new Calvin Klein suit (worn 3 hours to a grad party) to them for dry cleaning. I never took it out of the plastic until I was on the road traveling and it hard burn marks on both legs, damage beyond repair. When I took it back to them to show them, the smart mouth clerk started arguing with me. Since the owner was not there, I left the pants and requested "Gail" the owner call me, which she did today. To my amazement, she started raising her voice to me and denying that there is no way they could have damaged it, and went on to say the suit pants were old and the "knees" were worn out (new suit mind you) like really? When she finally did admit to it after long debate, she offered me in store credit for future cleaning of $20 bucks. Like I am going ever let you see another piece of my dry cleaning?? Must be 4:20 early over there. So if you are reading this, do yourself a favor and find another dry cleaner, this joint should not be in business. Crooks!!!!! read more
