Once they saw the shoddiness of the repair, they seemed embarrassed and promised to make it right. After another week with the SUV they were unable to produce quality work. I informed my insurance company of the awful repair and Portland Collision's failure to correct it. They agreed to have Moody's in Scarborough estimate repairs. Moody's had to replace parts that were not even damaged in the accident because Portland Collision tried to force parts together improperly. They even had to replace parts Portland Collision replaced. Both taillights had been broken, they reused the old decals, painted over damage on the bumper, and glued broken parts instead of replacing them. Portland Collision should not be in business and I hope my insurance company drops them as a preferred shop. They lack attention to detail and try to get you out of the door by saying their work is guaranteed. Guaranteed or not, there is no excuse for the bad repair work completed by this shop. I would never trust Portland Collision to repair a vehicle.

I have a 2011 Honda CRV. I went to a big outfit with multiple locations and got a $3600 quote. Kent quoted me $1300. I showed him the other quote and basically said that it was accurate if you wanted everything just exactly perfect and he could duplicate the work for $1000 less but "you have a 2011 Honda with 151K miles. I can fix it right and cut out all this fat for $1300." And when i had an issue with a fender popping out of place, he took care of it. Go see Kent. He's a fair guy with a small shop and he'll take care of you.

This guy just runs his own codes again, "looks under the hood to see how easy it would be to fix oxygen sensors" and that was his diagnostics. I had to even ask what diagnostics he did when he went to charge me for this. His codes were the exact same by the way. Just wants to start changing things without a deep dive - so you'll end up changing a bunch of items with them. Customer service was obviously terrible too. Don't go here

They seem like decent guys to joke around with (trying to be fair here). But what I experienced was anything but professional. It would take pages to document this past weeks experiences with ABC. It feels like it's been much longer than that. They wasted way a large amount of my time and money as a result of incompetence. Whether it was completely forgetting about my tow, or charging me for new parts that he GAVE back to me so that I could INSTALL THEM MYSELF because he didn't HAVE TIME, or telling me he'd be there at 4:30pm to check me out but he then leaves to go home early for the day, or telling me he didn't get around to the oil change I asked for because he didn't have time! (which is odd because he went home early!!!) OR MAYBE it was just the fact that the whole reason for the tow was because the fuel pump was going, and he didn't touch anything besides the brakes! Throughout this entire process, I made an in-person appointment, 2 weeks out. I then went back in 2 days prior to the tow to confirm (shouldn't even be necessary on my part). When i finally got ahold of them over an hour after my scheduled pick up time, they begrudgingly came to pick me up, and then proceeded to tell me that they aren't going to even work on it for a few days because they have certain customers that are a priority. WHY DID I WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT THEN??? None of it makes sense. Honestly, they truly seem like decent individuals. BUT this was the most unprofessional spot I've been to since moving to Maine. 2/10

I called and they were friendly and informative on the phone. Told me how long it would be, and would let me know when the truck was close. The tow service itself was professional, and quick. My car was handled with care, and even though we didn't have far to travel the ride was cordial enough. These guys operate a 24 hour business, and I'm happy for the lift. The price was $85 cash from one town to another which is standard for here, based on competitors rates. I would call them again when in need of a tow.
