My wife and I were incredibly easy customers. We didn't haggle at all on the price of our 2024 Wagoneer. During the process, the dealership on their own accord offered to install a brake controller for us after we discussed our wants and needs. However, when they handed us the keys at delivery, there was only one. When I requested a second key, I was met with a continuous sob story from management about how they "lost money" on the deal and flat-out refused to provide one. The price of the vehicle was a business decision of their choosing, not something I negotiated. It is entirely unprofessional to guilt a customer over the dealer's own pricing strategy just to get out of providing a spare key. To make matters worse, after a closer inspection of the vehicle, the emblems are already peeling off and the windshield wipers are incorrect. Now, on top of fixing those oversights, I have to shell out hundreds of dollars out of pocket to purchase and program a second key myself. These care about the quick sale, not the customer or the quality of the vehicles they put on the lot. Highly recommend staying away.

This small 2 bay garage was formerly Chip's Service Center when it was recommended to me over 10…read moreyears ago when I moved to the area and wanted service on our Subaru Forester. They advertised at that time as their mechanics really knowing Subarus and I wanted a garage (like everyone else) that would provide solid service without ripping you off like the dealerships tend to do. We had SO much work done on our car over many years here-they did everything from multiple brake jobs, to basic maintenance and timing belt and head gaskets, etc to keep us running for 145K+ miles as the car got older. Among many other positives, two things stand out to me: 1) if I needed them to address a new noise or concern such as a light going on, etc and called, they often suggested I drop by and briefly check it out and were able to address a quick fuse change or provide a quick assessment of what might be the issue, sometimes within the same day and this was never charged for. That's service you don't get many places. 2) I feel they are honest- there were times we had to decide to be strategic about some maintenance and they provide you feedback on what might be coming up maintenance wise, not just saying you need it done now unless it truly does need to be completed now and their best idea of timeframe to do it by. This allowed me to plan a lot more for the next $$$ to maintain the car and feel we were on top of the current condition of the car. Another example: there was a time I had taken the car to a dealership and that service advisor said I needed to replace both leaking head gaskets now and failed my Maine inspection. Got second opinion by this garage, they showed me the car on lift and informed me only ONE gasket needed to be done soon and was leaking but the other wasn't even needing to be addressed! Passed my Maine state inspection that day! Only negatives: it's small- that means longer waits to get into schedule during the week they are open (closed weekends) , only two seats right in the entry way if you opt to wait, have no courtesy shuttle or loaner car and do not do tires or alignments. All in all I would definitely recommend this garage and the cost is less than dealerships.

I brought my 2016 GMC truck in because of a strange noise I've been hearing for months. I previously brought my truck to the service department at another GMC dealer (where I bought it brand new). They had basically told me I was crazy and that nothing was wrong. I also have had to wait for an excessive amount of time at this other facility for every service appointment I've had there. Bill Dodge was the total opposite. They were super friendly, attentive, thorough and efficient. They got to the bottom of the noise I have been suffering through and fixed it, at no charge! To top it off they even ran my truck through the carwash. The whole experience was so positive, and the advisor I worked with was superb. I will be bringing my truck here for service from now on, no question.

My partner and I had a flat tire when we pulled into Portland for vacation. We had a hard time…read moregetting an appointment within 4 hours at other places, so we walked to a coffee shop to camp out and saw this place across the street. They were able to fit us in within the hour and gave us recommendations on what to do until then. Turns out there was nothing visibly wrong with the tire, no holes or anything, so they couldn't do anything on the spot. They didn't charge for the inspection and filling up the tire. We very much appreciated their help and are glad to know we can wait until we get back to deal with the tire instead of worry all weekend. We definitely recommend and would come back if we have a problem (hopefully we don't). Very friendly, great service.
