It looked busy; they logged me in, and I waited a short while. Less than 15 mins. An aide looked at my thumb and took my vitals. Leaving, she said the practitioner would be right in. I did not even have time to turn on my Kindle (I always take something in case you have to wait, for all my appts.) The nurse practitioner was very pleasant. Gave the thumb a good look and checked for pain. Said she would ask the doctor if it needed to be numbed and cut open. She came back quickly and said antibiotics. Not to squeeze out the pus anymore, LOL. Soak in hot soapy water, not the Epsom Salts I had been using. They did offer a script from them for $10, I declined due to keflex usually being under that amount. Drove a few shops down and got the script for $0. They used my insurance for it. Great place, quick. No hours of waiting at the ER (which my insurance told me to use) , only a $15 copay instead of the ER which is over $100! After all a sore thumb would have been at the low end of the totem pole at the ER. I have never gotten out of Waterman ADH in less that 8 hours!

Almost immediately, I was called to the counter to make my co-payment. A few minutes after that, I was called back for temp and blood pressure, etc. Then in a room for a brief wait to be seen by Dr. Weaver. Overall, I was only there for about an hour, treated, consulted, and then told my prescription had already been called into a nearby pharmacy. Would I return? Yes. But, at least it filled in the little gully! Secondly, the toilets are too low for a handicapped person to easily lower themselves down upon. And getting up is literally impossible. In today's horrific healthcare environment, prompt service and being treated with respect is scarce, which makes experiences and businesses like this stand out. I have now seen several of the rotating Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, and every one of them has been warm, friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. I don't know how many they have on staff but they seem to have enough to serve everybody who comes in and very promptly as well. Overall bedside manner is warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. I never feel rushed through an appointment. My most recent visit involved what I believed was an ear infection, but it turned out to be more of an ear pH imbalance and irritation issue rather than anything severe. It is the kind of condition that can often be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies, yet it still helps to have a qualified medical provider evaluate it properly and point you in the right direction. Obviously, urgent care does not replace having a primary care physician. However, if you have no health insurance, very often you do not have a primary care physician either. That is the reality for millions of people who are unemployed, between jobs, self-employed, or simply not earning enough to absorb the monthly cost of a health plan. In the age of AI and economic disruption, more people are slipping through the cracks of healthcare than many care to admit. I do not currently make enough money to comfortably carry a monthly insurance plan, and I am not old enough for the next chapter of life, which is the Medicare age. Until then, clinics like Doctors Urgent Care provide an important bridge with reasonable self-pay pricing and accessible care. In a healthcare system wrought with obsessively high insurance costs and pharmaceutical companies earning billions each year while many Americans struggle to afford the basic necessities of life... this business is genuinely helping to fill an important gap for many people, which is why those five-star reviews continue.

You are really never in the office for more than 30-40 minutes and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The Dr's and nurse practitioners are very knowledgeable, caring and they give you the care that you deserve. You often will get a follow up call either the next day or the day after to see if you are doing better. I will very often come here if I have a health issue that needs immediate attention instead of waiting for an appointment with my primary care physician that would often take some time to get. This building has been here about 2 years It is absolutely beautiful. Friendly staff, nice waiting area It even has a coffee shop where you can get fresh coffee and drinks and dessert. Upstairs they have some doctor's offices. I had made an appointment for 10:30 a.m. and got in by 10:40 a.m.. Quick and easy. I will definitely come here again for all my blood work.

Specialists include Breast Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Urogynecology, Hematology, and Physical Therapy. Some other health related services coming soon are Heart Care, Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, and Spine Care. I'm not one who loves going to the doctor or shifting my schedule around at work for a bunch of doctor appointments; however, I've had no issues working with staff to coordinate an appointment for my specific needs. What's really great about this location is that if your doctor orders up bloodwork during your visit, staff can perform the bloodwork on the first floor and they can usually get you in right away. The health park is very new and it is kept spotless. There is also a coffee shop on the first floor if you need a pick-me-up while you wait or on the go. Another great thing about this location is there is an emergency room right next to this building, so if you are having an emergency you don't have to go far. All-in-all, I recommend this new facility. If you are in need of any services noted above, this might be the place for you.
