Great food and service with PLENTY of options. We tried the burgers which were very delicious. My favorite was the cheese burger which had no meat but instead a thick slice of Halloumi cheese with Taziki sauce and veggies. Great find! read more

We came to Lake Street Pub for dinner on a Friday afternoon. It was crowded but we were quickly seated at one of their high top tables. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and extra attentive to our 4 year old. They have some video games that were a big hit. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day so luckily outdoor seating is still an option! Overall, the food was okay. I think our kid enjoyed his mac and cheese more than everyone else enjoyed their meals. I tried their special pizza with choice of 3 toppings. It was not the best pizza but it was not the worst. My husband ordered the whitefish fry. It was hot but nothing special. Also, we ordered the pub pretzel for appetizer and it was not too bad! They do have a a decent beer selection including some local breweries. This is a decent option for Boyne City. This is a sweet-spot right along the water with an awesome outdoor area for everyone to enjoy. On our visit, it was quite windy, which made the outdoor seating a bit of a chore, but was worth it to enjoy the awesome weather. The beer list is extensive, with some interesting local options and some national favorites. There was even some cool cider options that you don't see everywhere. If they still have the watermelon cider, it comes highly recommend from our group. Also, be sure to get the cheese curds. They are lightly battered and fried and topped with just enough sauce to make them super tasty. From all of our meals, it seems the best option was the fried whitefish; it uses the same batter as the cheese curds and is awesome. Second best option seems to be the ribs. I would skip the broiled whitefish (flavorless) and the grilled cheese burger (looks pretty, tastes bad). read more

I went here on a Monday afternoon around 7pm. For the time, it was really busy! We just got takeout so I can't speak to the interior dining experience, but overall the restaurant seemed nicely decorated and had some cool outdoor seating. I got the pub chicken sandwich with fries. The food was good but not mind blowing. The chicken was tender and juicy, but I feel like the sandwich needed a little something more. The French fries were delicious though! The fish fry was yummy and the Reuben was good too (lots of sauerkraut). The grilled cheese burger was yummy too (our groups burger enthusiast had no regrets). Overall, it was a good experience and I'd definitely go back here. I might try something other than the chicken sandwich next time though. read more

A fun place for an apres ski dinner! We enjoyed burgers, nachos and sandwiches along with tasty drinks. A previous visit included a decadent mac and cheese! The table next to us was having fun with the ski shots - ask about it if you visit! I took a peek at the happy hour menu and it looks terrific! The Pub has definitely slipped over the past few years. Examples include having 90% of the parking for takeout. That's a throwback to early Covid. It is not necessary today. The Frank sandwich has been discontinued. Today we ordered a French Dip rare. It came well done. We expressed concern to the server and were told "We don't do that rare". A very industrial vibe with hints of old chicago. This creates a very open and bright atmosphere with some charm. I ordered the breakfast burger($13). This is 4 2oz patties with a fried egg, and some bourbon bacon jam. The patties are smashed patties and are an excellent quality of meat. The burger was very tasty. I also got some Onion Rings ($3) which were very good too. The Person I was with order a regular burger with Cheddar Cheese ($9). The patties are still 4 - 2oz smashed. She stated it was excellent! The service was very friendly. The took care of everything in an efficient manner. Overall a solid 4 star review. Would I return? Yes. Stumbled across Lake Street Pub when getting a recommendation to stop at a different restaurant down the street. We weren't loving that place's vibe, so we detoured to Lake Street instead and glad we did! We were in town for a ski trip at Boyne Mountain, and Lake Street was close and only about 10 mins away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating since it was during the NFL playoff, they were nice enough to put on our team's game on the TVs, turn on the sound, and give us a great spot to cheer on our favorite team. They have happy hour every day (even on the weekend) so we ordered a big variety of food and drinks. Everything was delicious, but I'd say my favorites were the wings and soft pretzel. We had a great time and would recommend others to check them out. I'd love to see it in the summer when they can open up the garage doors and windows, seems like a great hangout! read more

The menu is large enough for everyone to find something and their drink list is respectable. We started with an order of the cheese curds, which were very good. I've never had cheese curds with a spicy Buffalo sauce before but I was definitely a fan. For my dinner, I had the Breakfast for Dinner Burger and waffle fries. It was massive and overall, I enjoyed it. It was on the greasy/fast food side of the spectrum but I didn't mind. The only issue we had was when all the food came out, we were missing one salad. Our server came back multiple times to confirm we actually were missing it because she said the food runners/cooks were telling her that we had everything. The food and service are great here. We really enjoyed the maple crack dip. I'm not the biggest fan of buffalo sauce, but this was not overpowering at all. It is also served with a good amount of tortilla chips, which is usually not the case at make restaurants. The nachos were good, but there wasn't enough chicken on it so I would probably just order veggie next time. We also ordered a specialty burger and it was pretty good. We came here from out of town for a skiiing trip. It was super packed when we got there because of a football game, but we were able to get sat within 10 minutes. This is the first time we happened into this place, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The martinis were delicious, but a bit high at $11 each. The nacho was pretty fabulous; adding beef brought it up another $5 though. Dawn was our waitress, and she was attentive with great suggestions! The Reuben was fantastic! Corned beef is made in house, and it's meaty, lean, and flavored to perfection. I added some sauerkraut on the side, and it was tasty separately as well. We both had a huge sandwich with fries. The service was prompt without feeling pushy. The owners thanked us for coming when we were leaving. This Main Street pub is a great eatery and has some unique items on the menu, plus we were told almost everything is made on site. Always a plus! The space is rather open and big with some outside seating under umbrella and the rest inside but with a great view of parts of town. We were seated towards the back but had service rather quickly. We went for the appetizer From Holland with Live but asked them to hold the bacon. I also asked to try their local cider on pour which she brought as a generous sample a few minutes later. It was delicious so I got one with my meal. Great selection of beers, ciders and other drinks. Our appetizer, fried Brussels sprouts with slivered almonds and vinaigrette was tasty and we dove in almost as soon as it arrived. Only halfway through did we realize it still had bacon which we pointed out and she apologized for the oversight. I was pretty upset as that causes me quite a bit of pain later, but figured it was a mistake. A manager came over later to apologize and offer us a free appetizer to take home. We appreciated the gesture, but did think it would have been nicer just to have that removed from our bill. It was a delicious appetizer with good crunch and flavor, so glad we tried it even with the mistake. My salad was large and quite good (pub salad) and my husbands chipotle bean burger had just the right flair. The chips served with his burger were house-made and quite substantial which was a treat. He said it was one of the top ever tasted bean burgers in his opinion. High praise indeed! I would return as the food was good and the atmosphere really nice for lunch/dinner and drinks. One small note that as we paid our bill was a dollar too high (wrong addition) and we pointed it out but the server was busy with other tables so just had us pay. I know we weren't the best of her night but in the end this is a service industry and it would probably be better for them if they took note of the small things always. read more

Right in downtown Boyne city on Main Street the Lake Street pub is also owned by the same people who own Sante's Café Magnum hospitality menu is pub and grub lots of beers on tap and some seasonal drinks restaurant closes early in the winter 9 o'clock service can be spotty, but that seems to be the way it is with all restaurants nowadays Especially when it's busy because you're starting to go around. When I come up north I usually go to this place. It's never disappointing and I can always get a table within 15 minutes. I came here today at around 7 and the wait was 30 minutes for 9 people. Luckily we got a table within 15 minutes. Unfortunately there was only 4 waiters but our waiter Shanae was on top of it. Our food and drinks were out like that . The food was delicious and they have a great menu. One part about this restaurant that I especially like is the outdoor seating/ patio.
