He completely put my (normally grumpy) pup at ease. He took more time that I expected to make sure I understood and was satisfied with my pup's health and any next steps. 2) They are convenient: I got an appointment the same day I called. 3) It was clear Dr Shelton builds rapport with his customers: everyone coming and going seemed to have some kind of 'hello' or positive interaction with him. Please be aware the dog was a larger size Yorke looking dog we tried to get her name but the baby had no collar and the lady would give it to us. It sounded like she was stuck and we know she was cold! clearly cold with temperature 40 degrees and falling. Please be aware the dog came right up to my friend. The lady gave excuses like she needed to go to the bathroom but when I arrived nobody was monitoring her and she was freezing! If you think this was your dog I would be happy to confirm. It turned out that my girl had a serious infection raging inside her and needed hospitalization. After meeting Fallon and hearing her plan of action and going over our options I had no doubt that she would be well cared for and that Miley would have her best chance if she stayed with Fallon, as opposed to us trying to treat her at home. Unfortunately my girl didn't make it through the night but I really can't thank Fallon enough for sacrificing her weekend to care for my baby. We received regular updates on her condition and i truly feel that Fallon did all she could for Miley with the resources available to her. Her care, compassion, and professionalism to Miley, myself, and my husband will forever be appreciated.

We looked for a service that would come to our home and anesthetize Sophie while we held her. We found Nicole Vega of Hummingbird Veterinary who came promptly. She answered all our questions and offered all of the other end-of-life services that might be required. After anesthetizing Sophie, she lined up a cremation service, source for an urn with inscription, and took Sophie with her to follow through on all those services. Dr. Vega was thorough and compassionate at every step of the process. She was thoughtful enough to create a clay medallion with Sophie's foot prints impressed in it (see pic). It turns out that Dr. Vega is well known and highly regarded in this area. She substitutes for other veterinarians when asked. We've decided to take advantage of the preventative care service she offers. Her philosophy of "an oz. of prevention is worth a lb. of cure" makes excellent sense in a time when other veterinarians are scheduling their services one to two months out. Her services to us were 5-Stars!
