This is a nice little rustic Michigan tavern. Excellent food, friendly people, cool atmosphere and great service. I had the square-cut cod, very tasty! I liked that it came on a "fish" plate, that was a nice touch. I'm usually a malt vinegar guy with my fried fish, however the tartar sauce was actually a dill-based sauce and I really enjoyed it. If you're ever driving North from Port Huron on US-25 along Lake Huron, be sure to stop here for a meal! read more

Nice little bar with relaxing small town vibes! The food and drinks are competitively priced and pretty standard for bar food. It is definitely not fine dining but more so comfort food. We always order the fish and chips and love their tartar sauce. The service is always fast and the staff are very friendly. The location is easy to find (off the main road M-25) with ample parking in front and back of the restaurant. It's a great place for group gatherings (lots of room/tables) or just a drink with a friend at the bar! read more

They have an amazing Menu to choose from for all ages. Their service is amazing the waiters are really kind. The ambiance is a great place to hang out with friends and just talk while playing pool pulling pull tab lotto tickets. I would definitely recommend you go there. Was really disappointed. I use to hang out there when it was Duffy's had many a great dinners there. Stoped in today 7/26/20 Waitress was taking running around with her nose hanging out of her mask. Condiments left out on the table. I had the fish sandwich. Sad, three tiny fish bites on an old stale bunn. Ketchup was runny and cheap. Friend had a cheese burger. I would have throne out that bunn if it were in my house. Things change but unfortunately not always for the better. Sorry, will not be back. read more

Extremely tasty fish fry (all u can eat!) and delicious lake perch too. Finally tried the Portuguese fries on my last visit (kinda like a cross between potatoes o'brien and home fries - but with a kick) were wonderful too. My folks love the pickerel. Enjoyed my first Shirley Temple (aka kiddie cocktail) there back in the Bad Boys days, memories. Last but not least - I've tried a lot a tartar sauce over the years, not sure if theirs is homemade or not, but I've never found its equal. read more

worst fish dinner i have ever had here. 11.99 for five pieces of fish. you are expecting 5 real pieces of fish. no you got 5 fish bites really greasy. grease all over the plate. you can see i put a quarter next to the fish and the two oz of tarter sauce. this shows how small the 5 pieces of fish were. the broccoli cheese soup was cheese soup from a can of cambells soup with some parts of broccoli thrown in. the pop was not real mt dew it was flat and off brand. did i complain no. i was too upset and would have said something i would have regretted. there was a kid running around in the kitchen barefoot and running threw the restruant. must be new owners. i will not recommend this place to anyone. it was a waist of $30.00. hard money we didnt have to waste. totally unacceptable to rip people off. you will never make customers come back if this is your work ethics. read more

Ehh, it's hit or miss. I stopped in last week and had a burger the black and bleu. It was great and the fires where perfect. This week I stop on to do the all you can walleye and was highly disappointed and walked away feeling robbed. The fish is not walleye. And it's frozen even though the Great Lakes are a stone throw away. And worst it was freezer burnt. And under cooked. The portions where off too. The first course was a nice fillet. The second , being the best was a different type of fish, which had a very good taste and the third was small and the same frozen texture. If you want a good bar burger stop in and have a beer. Better than average bar food, nothing more. The fish is frozen not fresh which is a bit disappointing since you can walk to the lake from here. The perch is deep fried in beer batter. For such a mild fish the approach seems a bit heavy handed. The batter works better on the cod. The crock slaw is interesting and good. read more

WOW! Now called Lakeport Tavern Bar & Grill. Had a Black and Blue Burger while my sate has a double cheese burger. On Tuesday'a buy one half price. We didn't know that. Just lucked out. With fries. A group of us were returning from a weekend camping trip on Labor Day. We all agreed to stop at Duffys to eat and grab a few drinks on the way home. We were the first of the group to arrive due to others having to pull trailers. I had to go to the bathroom so I ran in why my family set outside to wait. The waitress greeted me and I respond and proceeded to the restroom. Upon exiting the others still were not there, I looked out the window to wave at my family. That's when the waitress attacked me verbally. Loudly asking "WHAT YOU JUST STOPPED TO USE THE BATHROOM." Before I could answer she proceeded to tell me to use the marathon up the road (we had just passed) brow beating me verbally. At this point I stormed out telling her we would never eat here. The 15 of us went on up the road and had a lovely time, tipping our nice waitress $200 dollars on our $400 dollar bill. read more

This restaurant/bar is now closed. Was open for many years and was always a friendly place to dine. Especially known for the fish and chips. Hopefully someone will purchase this bar and reopen it. An especially busy place in the summer because of the location. read more

Went there in June and ordered the T-bone steak, It was rancid!! It smelled bad and was grey in color. Like an idiot I took a bite. It tasted worse than it smelled. I called over the manager and told her it was bad and she took it back and said she would have the cook check it out. They offered to make something else for me but my appetite was gone. That was the last I heard from them. No apology! The least they could have done is not charge me for my wives food. The other seven people at the table said their food was fine. I will avoid this place in the future and suggest you do the same. read more

Beer may be OK, Martinis not so much. I ordered a Cosmo--nothing exotic! What I received was straight vodka with maybe two drops of something that might have been cranberry juice. I put the drink to the side expecting the waitress to at least ASK. Nada. The food was forgettable. Salad was a pile of lettuce covered with cheese and the fish that is supposed to be a specialty was made from square frozen with batter that was too greasy to eat. The chicken on the salad was edible but I sure wont be going back for that! read more
