Where do I begin?!! We have been going to THE DOG STOP for years, but they just continue to exceed…read moremy expectations! We were 15 minutes late past closing last night due to a flight delay. I spoke to several members of the team who assured me that they would wait so I could get my timid dog out of boarding. I didn't even ask, they OFFERED! Plus, they had groomed him later in the afternoon so he was fresh and clean for pickup. Evie is a rockstar! Went above and beyond-so kind and sweet-stayed late and even gave him extra treats! Sarah, the general manager called me today as a follow up....service is just second to none!

We boarded our healthy but elderly dog for a week at this facility. We boarded her here before without incident and always informed the handlers about her chronic conditions, but not life threatening conditions (bronchitis, arthritis and partial deafness). Before the week was over and on Christmas day (the day before we were due to pick her up) we received a text message (because why would anyone pick up the phone these days) informing us that our dog had diarrhea and had literally soiled all over herself. We asked whether we could pick her up right away in response to their text but were told that we should wait a couple of hours. After we brought her home our dog vomited several large rubber bands and bile and started shaking uncontrollably, followed by more diarrhea. We promptly took her to the emergency vet and spent hours there and many hundreds of dollars in testing, including an ultrasound the following morning, to treat her dehydration and to make sure that our dog had expelled all of the foreign matter from her system. We informed the Dog Stop of these facts and received a "poor dog" text in response, claiming that they were "investigating the matter." No phone call or any offer to make things right by this facility. The negligence of this business and their staff have caused pain and discomfort to our (former therapy) dog who has precious little time left on this Earth. I am outraged and how little concern they have shown for our animal and would never ever let any animal near this facility.

My senior dog can't take epic grooming sessions, and her hair was choppy and uneven after her last groom. Her ears and tail had been weirdly shaved, and I wasn't sure we'd be able to make her look normal again during her lifetime. The staff at Rover's is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The groomer we saw today has been grooming for 18 years, and had my sweet pup groomed in 45 minutes--and it's the best cut she's had in years. She did what she could to round out her ears, and to help set her up with a cut she can grow back into and look like herself again. My dog is fluffy, soft, adorable, and HAPPY! As a side note, all of the groomers there today were being so warm and friendly with the dogs in their care. I even saw one groomer sitting on the floor keeping a dog company while it waited for its owner. We will be going to Rover's for our grooming from now on!!

It's often too many for him or her to control. One family member compared Rover's Place to a shelter because the dogs are put into crates more often than they should be. Our dog enjoys going to Rover's Place, finds ways to have fun with the other dogs and comes home tired however, we were hoping that there would be additional open space for the dogs to run around.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR ONE PARTICULAR INCIDENT:…read more Our beloved dog (Zoe) of 15 years battled through cancer for 2 years and last Thursday was the day we decided to let her go after a seizure episode that she couldn't recover from. Unfortunately, what we thought would be a peaceful goodbye turned out to be a devastating experience to our family (and sad for Zoe). The doctor lacked compassion and bedside manner. When our dog was still breathing after administering the 3rd shot, he said "I don't understand, these shots would have taken a horse down." This is NOT something you say to a grieving family, maybe to your colleagues or students. There were no comforting words or explanation as to what was happening. All he did was go in and out of the room to give her more shots because our dog was still breathing (he tells us, "I've been doing this for 53 years and I never had this happen"). After the 4th shot, he came back in the room and told us that he would have to administer an intracardiac euthanasia. I totally lost it! My son and I walked out of the room, but my husband and daughter stayed. My husband said that 2 shots were given straight to her heart. This was such a devastating and traumatic experience for all of us. We were hoping that our final moments with our beloved Zoe would be peaceful, but it was not. My husband said that it was only at this moment (after Zoe's heart had stopped), the doctor said that it had to be done because of her low blood pressure (no other time during our ordeal did he offer an explanation). The only positive thing I can say was that the attending Vet Nurse Britina showed compassion, and Vet Nurse Sara who sat down with me and my son in the lobby, explained to us what "could" possibly be happening to Zoe. Sara lend a warm touch to ease my pain. This doctor has 53 years of experience, he may have been so desensitized after doing this for 53 years (like it's just another day in the office), because he showed no care or sympathy. We have seen other doctors in this clinic who has much less experience but showed more care and empathy. I am writing this to spare someone from this awful, awful experience. Overall, Zoe has been going here for over 3 years since our old Vet moved out of state. Zoe had seen Dr. Zebold and Dr. McGriff, and they are both great. Unfortunately, this one particular incident is a horrendous experience we will never forget.

It's a wonderful place for dogs! You can see that everyone who works there loves dogs and really cares about them. I have been taking Shyla here for day care for several years, and I board her there when necessary. I wouldn't trust Shyla to anyone else! The place is HUGE and very clean. There are several different areas of play, both inside and outside, and a few different types of sleeping areas for overnight guests. When you board your dog you get a report card, letting you know everything you'd want to know about your dog's stay! Plus they have webcams all over the place, but I don't use them anymore. I know Shyla is in loving care, safe and happy! Wiggly Tails is where you want your dog to be! (And this is about the 3rd review I've given them in the past four years! The wonderful people who work there have become our family! And it's Shyla's second home!)

I will not be going back to Wiggly Tails after a second, and this time horrific, biting incident resulting in severe injuries to my dog, the defenseless, kind and loyal Bailey. I apologize for sharing these horrific pictures, but I do not want any other unsuspecting owners to land themselves in the position that my dog and I are in. The photos are after my dog was cleaned up. It was much worse, looking infected. I'm heartbroken and mentally exhausted. I gave them a second chance the first time and I was assured it wouldn't happen again. The first time, I didn't post anything and I was asked to give them a second chance. I'm not sure why they neglected my dog to allow it to happen. There should have been some supervision to avoid this. The facility refuses to share surveillance tapes of the injuries. I gave them an opportunity for explanation and was told "We can't guarantee this won't happen again". Why not? Is Wiggly Tails staff extensively trained? Is the staff trained to handle emergencies? How do they organize dogs? by size or by play style? Are "dangerous" or aggressive dogs allowed in group play? Do they let the dogs do what they want until a fight breaks out? Is the facility more concerned with revenue than safety? Doggy daycare places will tell you that they watch the dogs and stop inappropriate behavior from happening but in most cases it's either a lie or they don't intervene until it's escalated too far. Wiggly Tails were negligent in their duty of care which led to my dog getting bitten and severely injured. There is no excuse for my poor little dog to suffer like this! My poor family has to deal with the trauma of an injured dog due to an irresponsible daycare business! Irresponsible decisions were made that lead to Bailey's injuries, and I would not want this to happen to any other pet or pet parent. Please, if you are considering a dog care facility, do not take your beloved pup to Wiggly Tails. I wanted to share my story in hopes that others who see this post will share it, and perhaps other pet parents will think twice about using Wiggly Tails.
