I had quite a few problems with Lakeside. First let me preface this by saying that I do realize that used vehicles are not perfect. However, I feel that this dealership purposefully doesn't fix things that they should before selling a vehicle. This year, I purchased a truck from lakeside. The first time I test drove the truck, the check engine light started flashing. I drove back to the dealership and they said they would fix it. I took the vehicle out for a second test drive and the check engine light started flashing again. I took the truck back and they again said they would fix. I came back a third time and this time I drove the truck to a trusted mechanic to look it over. The check engine light did not come on during the drive. My mechanic said that one of the wheel bearings was bad, and the front brakes were getting thin. My mechanic said that the wheel bearing was a safety issue that needed to be fixed prior to my purchase of the vehicle. I relayed this to lakeside and they said they would fix it, but that the cost to fix it would be added to the cost of the truck. Reluctantly, I agreed. Two days after leaving the dealership the abs light came on and the check engine light came on again soon after. In addition to this my mechanic later told me that the wheel bearing I paid to have fixed was not in fact fixed at all.......Very Frustrating!! At this point, I don't even want to deal with them so I am just having my regular mechanic fix the truck My mechanic also told me that it isn't even legal to sell a vehicle with a known safety issue such as a wheel bearing. The whole process was a headache. And though I hate leaving bad reviews but I cannot recommend this dealership. read more
